Flat in Central Montrose

PatriciaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely, peaceful stay in Charlotte's property. PERFECT for 2 people. We received clear instructions re how to get there, with excellent follow-up contact information from Charlotte in case we had any problems or queries - something we didn't need to do, but really appreciated Charlotte's concern. The property was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The quality of the furnishings was 1st-class. The welcome pack of 'goodies' was a lovely touch and much appreciated. The Angus area is one of Scotland's best-kept secrets and Charlotte's house is definitely one of the 'accommodation jewels' in Montrose's crown. Angus has it all - beaches, glens, historic sites and 1st-class local produce. What's not to like? A return visit is certainly on the cards.

Beach Villa, Broughty Ferry

AndyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Second time we have stayed here. It's just perfect. Apart from being about 30 seconds from the beach, there was everything we needed. Despite being close to the beach and a play park it was really quiet when you were indoors Great walks up to Monifieth most days. Five minutes from the station and then seven minutes in to Dundee. Dawn was at the end of the phone or a text if we needed anything. We will definitely be back

Excellent views from our cheerful house by the sea

BillRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Took us a little time to find our way to where we found that the access staircase was on the reverse/back of the building, looking towards the river, rather than on the street. Other than that we easily just followed Helen's instructions and quickly got into the house. The house was very tidy and cosy with superb views onto the river and harbour. It was great to find the welcome pack/supplies which included tea and instant coffee and marmalade and jam. .The whole house was very clean and tidy and cosy. The kitchen was lovely and modern and I really appreciated the supply of ground coffee for use in the cafetiere which was provided. We quickly settled in and also appreciated the big-screen tv, and the leaflets and books about the history etc of the area of Ferryden. Helen is a very good host and made us feel welcome with a smashing wee property for visitors to rent. Thanks to this we had an enjoyable wee break.

Barometer Cottage

LindaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Had a fantastic weekend at Barometer Cottage. The cottage is beautiful and extremely clean, and all furnishings are well cared for. The outside of the cottage is deceiving as the inside is extremely spacious. All the kitchen equipment is top of the range and all looks brand new. Bathroom is spotless and the bedrooms are lovely, beds are extremely comfortable and had such a great night sleep both nights of our visit. Cannot fault anything. Clear instructions on how to get there, get into the cottage and on the link you are sent there are instructions on how everything works. Cottage is close to town centre and there are plenty of lovely restaurants and cafes close by. We would definitely recommend and look forward to returning in the future ❤️

Lawton Cottage: cosy, wood-fuelled rural seclusion

DarylRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Stayed for two nights at this wonderful wee (but plentiful) cottage, and left wishing I had booked more time there! The location was beautiful - situated in a peaceful country garden surrounded by trees and woodland, with the sounds of birdsong and the odd chicken from the nearby coup making it feel private and tranquil. Very easy to find, but nestled far enough away from the roads to forget they're there. The cottage itself is postcard perfect. Cosy but not cramped, kitted with everything you'd need for a break away from doom-scrolling and work. The fire was foolproof, and took no time at all to heat a full baths worth of water in the evenings, keeping the rest of the rooms warms all the while. Simon was a very attentive host, quick and accommodating in his reply to our request to use the adjacent tennis court, and provided us with eggs on our first morning in the cottage (a lovely touch) We missed it as soon as we left. Would highly recommend for couples or solo travellers.

The Old Post Office Double Room (sleeps up to 3)

MoiraRating, 5 stars21 months ago
I stayed here for a short break. Stuart provided clear instructions how to find the property. I was within walking distance of local amenities, including what seemed to be some very nice restaurants and a beautiful beach. Ideal for a walk with my dog. Stuart also has a little dog who is impeccably well behaved and non casting. Other places I visited were Lunan Bay and Monikie Country Park. Both were ideal for a walk. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and was an ideal base for my break. Stuart was a lovely host who was on hand to answer any questions I had regarding places to visit, etc. I hope to return at some point. Thank you Stuart.

Spacious flat w/views of North Sea and golf course

JamesRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We only stayed one night - checked in late and left early between two busy (and wonderful) days of golf. But if you are staying in Carnoustie- this is a great place to stay. Property is immaculate and accommodations and beds were great. View is straight out over the green and to the sea within 1 minute walk to the Carnoustie clubhouse. Parking was easy in the back and access was easy (you are up 3 flights of stairs) - but the view overcomes that issue quickly! If I was coming back to Carnoustie I would definitely recommend staying in Gray’s property.

The accommodation was superb, fantastic open plan living space which was great for family all being together for New Year. Facilities and amenities in the flat were first rate, we’ve stayed in a few Air BnB properties in Broughty Ferry and Ann’s has been one of the top ones! Looking forward to future stays here. Thanks for making our stay to visit family in The Ferry so easy!
