We had a great weekend at the "Old West Hotel." The place was cozy and super close to all the shops and restaurants in Murphys. The unit was decorated perfectly and the beds were super comfortable. We will be back for sure!

Stayed for a month while traveling and working remotely. Was able to cook just fine with all the kitchen items provided, and the space is well maintained. The Wi-Fi service is weak and inconsistent for remote workers and people hoping to use the tv often, but loved using the quiet and private deck off the bedroom. Safe neighborhood, felt very comfortable as a solo female traveler.

what a great place for a week stay to visut family. Beautiful, clean and super cozy. host where amazing and responsive! they even checked on me when they noticed I was past my arrival. flight was delayed, but I felt safe in the space they provided.

Vintage 1857 cottage is gem and stepping through the front door was eye-popping! Cozy, charming, and historic describes the space perfectly. The kitchen is fully set up for cooking with every possible amenity. Both beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was well-stocked, and we felt at home right away. On request, Rebecca set up a lovely welcome bottle of champagne for our celebration and supplied a few breakfast items for the morning. Outstanding service and communication! The tiny, historic town of Amador City is adorable with a few quaint restaurants, cute shops, a small museum, and near hiking trails. A perfect location from which to visit the string of historic gold mining towns along highway 49. Would love to stay again! Thank you, Rebecca!

I had a truly enjoyable stay! Vladi and Anita are the perfect example of what it means to be Superhosts. The unit is tucked away behind the main residence in a quiet area, and the private parking was a huge plus given the street can be a bit congested. The location is wonderful and just a short distance from a beautiful, forested park with walking and biking trails, perfect for a peaceful outdoor escape. Vladi and Anita thought of everything. From the detailed instructions provided to the thoughtful amenities, every detail was handled with such care and consideration that I never needed to reach out during my stay. They even checked in to make sure my arrival went smoothly, which I appreciated. I would definitely consider staying here again and highly recommend it to others!

Needed a place for my brother to stay while he helped me move to town. Karl was always very responsive to questions and was flexible with a last minute change request. The place is comfortable, clean, and quiet. Exactly what we needed after a 15 hour road trip!

I had a great stay at James’s place it was very peaceful and quiet. James was also very responsive and gave clear instructions. I love the setup I would definitely book again! Highly recommend to other guest!

Great space and loved the access to the gym. The only thing that may be an issue for taller people, is the shower head. I’m 5’1 so it was perfect but if you are taller the shower is very small and the shower head is very low. Over great decor and amenities.

We had a wonderful stay. The surroundings are beautiful; Hillary is an excellent host; the property is super clean; and its location is perfect. Great restaurants, wineries, outdoor activities, Gold Rush history and unique shops are all close by.

Elise’s place is such a great spot. Perfect for a small family or a couple of friends looking to enjoy the charm of the foothills. Located right in downtown Jackson, it’s within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and local attractions. It’s also a short drive to nearby wineries and fun day adventures like Kennedy Mines, rail cars, Black Chasm Cavern, and Indian Grinding Rock Historic Park. The home is cozy and relaxing, a perfect place to unwind after exploring. Elise made check-in and check-out super easy, and the thoughtful touches like snacks, coffee, and local books on the area were much appreciated. A wonderful and reasonably priced stay and highly recommend to anyone visiting.

Jennifer’s place was just as described: neat, quiet, private. Easy entry, exactly matched photos and description. Centrally located in town, close to roads/hiways to access the many local wineries and dining options in town and in other towns nearby. Jennifer was very responsive and easy to work with. One of the nicest Airbnb’s we’ve stayed at. We will definitely stay here again.

Great stay

Denise was a great host. She met with me at check-in and walked me through her home which was great. The room was comfortable and private. Sometimes parking is hard to find but the complex is well lit so I always felt safe, however, I did need a flashlight to unlock the doors to the unit and my room at night. Overall my week there was great and I highly recommend Denise as a host.

Staying here is an absolute must. Todd is one of the top hosts. I loved the place.

Michael is a very responsive and helpful host. His place was lovely! It was really well equipped and felt like a home. Great location in a pretty and quiet community, with easy access to freeways and shopping. Highly recommend.

Penny’s place was the perfect peaceful getaway. The space was cozy and comfortable. Penny was incredibly kind and responsive, making everything smooth and stress-free. You can really feel the care she puts into hosting. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil escape.

Our stay (3 ladies weekend wine tasting getaway) was wonderful. The front of the Shopkeepers Cottage was very unassuming when we parked in front of the the old green storefront. The walk down the hallway did not reveal any secrets of what laid ahead. When we unlocked the actual door to the residence we were amazed as we saw a lovely private and tastefully decorated French country home away from home . The place was very clean and large. Both bedrooms were huge and tastefully decorated. This place is centrally located and well appointed. The kitchen was very nice and had every pot and pan required to cook if you are so inclined to do so. Communication via text was easy if we had a question and was cheerfully answered. This was not our first visit to Amador City but our first stay at this Airbnb. We would definitely recommend staying here on your visit to wine country.
