The view from the kitchen table is absolutely stunning. The place is located right on the outskirts of Andenes city center and it is a short walk to everything. The cabin lays right next to the main road, but in an amazing area of nature. The view can offer both mountains and ocean view, in a beautiful fjord. If you are driving by on your way to Senja, Lofoten or Andøy. This can be an excellent place for a rest. With beautiful views, excellent hiking possibilities and hunting and fishing right outside your front door.

House of Hulda - a place for rest and inspiration.

A little house off the beaten track, between mountain and ocean. It has everything you need for a peaceful retreat and a chance to recharge in nature’s embrace. Built after the war by a woman named Hulda, it’s still known to the locals as “Hulda-huset.” My husband and I spent a year renovating it with local materials, honouring its original design. Today, it also serves as an Artist Residency, with artworks from past and future guests gradually filling its walls.
