The house is located in quiet surroundings centrally in the center of Andenes. On the 1st floor you will find the entrance, kitchen, bathroom, living room and exit to the terrace. On the 2nd floor there are 3 bedrooms. We have a travel bed for children if necessary (contact us) In the house there is a heat pump that can also be used as air conditioning. In the winter you may be lucky enough to see the northern lights right outside the door. It is a perfect place for those who want to relax, experience the midnight sun in the summer or the northern lights in the winter. Whether you travel alone, as a couple or with family, we facilitate a safe, cozy and memorable stay.

Bleik, Gåsøya

Gåsøya 4 is our cabin which is idyllically situated by the waterfront on Gåsøya about in the middle of Bleiksvatnet. It can accommodate four guests. Two minutes to drive from the parking lot up to the famous mountain peak Måtind. The cabin has running water and electricity, hallway, two bedrooms, toilet room with shower, living room and kitchen. The lean-to is right on the waterfront. The boathouse located between the gapahuken and the cabin is equipped with benches and tables and is suitable as a lounge.

This special place is close to everything. Gammelstua was built in 1878 and is listed in the village book as the oldest residential house in the center of Andenes. Gammelstua is located in the center of Andenes which is an old fishing village. Walking distance to whale safari, Polar Museum, Andenes lighthouse, ferry dock (Senja), bus stop, AVIS car rental, great shops and eateries. Andenes Airport is about 1.5 km from the residence. There is a coastline and sea in close proximity, with great views of Senja.

Nice hiking trails close to the home where you can walk to the evening lake. Here you can fish, grill or enjoy a cup of coffee while studying bird life. The place has a grill, grill hut, gapahuk and benches. Risøyhamn is located between Andenes and Sortland. Here you can arrive by car, bus or Hurtigruten. Bus stop close to the accommodation.

A little house off the beaten track, between mountain and ocean. It has everything you need for a peaceful retreat and a chance to recharge in nature’s embrace. Built after the war by a woman named Hulda, it’s still known to the locals as “Hulda-huset.” My husband and I spent a year renovating it with local materials, honouring its original design. Today, it also serves as an Artist Residency, with artworks from past and future guests gradually filling its walls.
