The distinctive architecture is a redesign of an old townhouse using modern construction methods and traditional materials. For reservations during the summer vacation of 2026 (for stays from July 21 to August 31), children up to elementary school age stay for free.[When booking, please do not include this person in the guest count.] About equipment and equipment Heating is equipped with underfloor heating on all floors on the 1st floor. We also provide a wood stove. Check-in is a little early throughout the year (after 2pm). Especially in winter, please come early as sunset is early in the forest. This is an old house built 221 years ago, located in the center of Tsumago-juku. The 20-tatami living room has a sunken hearth (currently unavailable) and you can enjoy the old Japanese private house. There are 3 bedrooms, so you can stay with a large number of people, such as family and friends. No meals are provided. You are welcome to use the full kitchen freely. There is a backyard at the end of the dirt floor that continues from the entrance, and you can walk around freely.
