Cottage vacation rentals in Anaheim

We had the BEST time at Chase’s place. We loved the island itself, but felt very lucky to find such a fun and personable place that was full of character and wonderful amenities. We loved the hot tub, the beach items, the games, the office capabilities, the yoga items, the great water pressure, and on and on. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Chase!

We enjoyed our stay a lot! It doesn’t have AC, but he does provide lots of portable fans. It started getting a little warm during the day, but thankfully, most of our activities during our trip were all day activities. We really enjoyed the complementary bikes. The town itself is very nice and safe. We felt very comfortable the whole trip and we would definitely stay in the area again.

Definitely wanted to stay longer! Connie made us feel welcomed before our stay even started and was even more of a delight to meet in person. The property is beautiful! Cottage was perfect for us and our pups. Neighborhood streets are nice to walk down with stores and restaurants easy to walk to. I can go on and on about the positives so I’ll just say that we will always check availability here first for any return trips.

Chuchu (the host) was very kind and accommodating and communicated very well with us. We couldn’t stay as long as we wanted due to personal plans. So we weren’t able to enjoy the fantastic amenities like we would have liked to! There are so many amenities, and probably the best out of the Airbnb we have stayed at. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. Good parking availability. There was so much to do for everyone, from the garage games to the backyard pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Everything the listing described and then some. It was also very close to restaurants and things to do if you plan to leave the house and do other things too. It is an active area but a peaceful neighborhood and one you can relax. Best of both worlds! Great for a short stay or longer stay!

the back yard, pool and cottage is beautiful and relaxing. the pool was wamed up for us. everything was clean and very cute. i hosted a little bbq here with the family and the main reason why everyone was so delighted with the place was because of Connie. such a wonderful soul. thank you and we will definitely make this a spot to book throughout the year.

1 block back from beach. Can see bit of beach from front porch. Ernie responsive and helpful. No shampoo, bath soap, Kleenex, laundry detergent but laundry available in garage so pack/ shop accordingly. Lots of beach chairs, bikes, surf boards, sand toys, beach towels. Look forward to staying again.

We had a great stay at this lovely cute property on Balboa Island. Great for couple and families. Fantastic location with a really nice friendly beach feel to the island. Lots of amenities within walking distance and the house is stocked with what you need for short or longer stays. Thoroughly good time helped by Scott being very easy to deal with

Super nice and super clean place to stay. Exactly as described. Questions and requests were answered immediately. (We needed a 3rd chair, it was brought directly on request.) Super friendly. Only the neighbor's dogs are pretty loud. If we come to Los Angeles again, we will come directly again

Great little house. Super cute. I will caution anyone who wants a soft bed, this is not the place for you. The beds are incredibly firm and make for tough sleeping if you’re a softer bed type. My husband would have loved the beds.

10/10 stars 🌟 This space was so beautiful, peaceful, and had everything you could think of for a wonderful stay. I was so at home, appreciated being able to cook my own meals and loved that it was dog friendly. Mary was so sweet, kind, and responsive. She is a fantastic host who truly thought of everything to make this stay above and beyond. We would absolutely stay again. The oranges from the garden were an extra plus! So delicious!

Our most recent visit was our third stay at Kristin and Richard’s place. We love the location. Great for visiting the entire Pasadena and LA area. Their place has tons of character and many thoughtful touches. Kristin and Richard are very friendly and super responsive.

This place was my saving grace, total last minute find and I've already recommended it to a friend! Our favorite part of the stay was definitely the deck and the foliage, it was so beautiful! The beds were comfy and we loved throwing the windows and french doors open when it got warm. Between two of us, there was more than enough space. The location was great too, pretty close to some good spots like Valerie's and some nice bars in the area. Will keep this place in my lists of good LA stays(:

Loved staying here! Great location, super cute little cottage, very clean. Perfect for our family of 5 (2 parents, 2 kids, 1 grandma). Highly recommend and would stay again.

We had a very pleasant stay at Amy's place. It is in a quiet location in the hills of Glendale, with easy access to major freeways and good places to eat. The little house was clean, with a well-equipped kitchen, a very comfy bed. The little outdoors space with chairs was a real plus. Street parking was really not that much of a problem, as we were always able to find spots either right across the property or in nearby adjacent streets. Amy communicated promptly and clearly about our check in, which is always appreciated.

We enjoyed our stay in this Newport Beach gem. Our hosts were so welcoming. Drew saved us a parking spot and Holly came over for a visit and nice conversation. We felt so at home. Holly and my husband even tag-teamed to save an orphaned baby opossum on our last morning there. And Holly quickly answered a frantic call from me when I thought I’d left my wallet at the house & was at the airport, in line to check my bag. She stayed on the phone with me while she went to the house where she and the cleaners searched everywhere. My husband ultimately found it in the butt of some packed jeans, but Holly was so calming. I appreciated it so much! It was so sisterly! As for the house, it is in a great location and is walkable to so much! Great location! And clean, clean, clean.

Beautiful cottage on the canal in Newport Beach. The house is really lovely and well-decorated and stocked. Fantastic location near restaurants, shopping and the beach. Jan and Kurt were the nicest hosts - very accommodating and exceptionally communicative. We always had a prompt response from them when we had questions and when we asked about some adjustments to our travel plans on check out day. Would give it a 5 out of 5, highly recommend, and would love to come back and stay again! Perfect for two couples.

This house is beautiful and just steps to the beach. The house is completely updated and very clean! The cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. And the bed and pillows were so comfortable. We felt right at home from the minute we arrived. The location of this house is the best part. It is located steps from not just the beach, but from the grocery store, coffee shops, tons of restaurants and the best Newport has to offer. We hit up several of their recommendations and loved them all. Everything was so close that we didn’t use our car the entire week. Don’t hesitate to book this rental. We can’t wait to come back. Natalie was an amazing host! She truly thought of everything to make our stay comfortable, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The peaceful porch was a wonderful spot to enjoy morning coffee, lunch, or just relax, and being just steps from the beach made the experience even better. Such a great location! It was our second time staying here, with two adults and two small children. Location is perfect in terms of proximity to the beach, shops, groceries etc. Also at a quieter part of the beach which we appreciated. Place was clean, amenities worked for what we needed and Kirsten was responsive when we had questions.
