Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Amsterdam-Centrum

Wir waren drei Nächte an diesem sehr schönen und ruhigen Ort. Die Unterkunft ist sehr nett und einladend eingerichtet. Wenn man Glück mit dem Wetter hat, sieht man den Sonnenuntergang vom Sofa aus und kann die Atmosphäre der Region mit einem Getränk gemütlich geniessen. Besser als jedes Fernsehprogramm :-). Sehr guter Ausgangspunkt um Noord-Holland zu erkunden und auch im Zentrum von Amsterdam ist man mit dem Bus unerwartet schnell (18 Min von Dörfchen Ilpendam mit dem Schnellbus). Sehr nette und zurückhaltende Gastgeber. Können wir uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Logement parfait, environnement tranquille devant un parc, boulangerie à 2 minutes, accès facile au centre-ville (petite marche + traversier gratuit ou métro à 10 minutes). Les hôtes sont sympathiques, accommodants et fiables. Très belle expérience !

Ce très bel appartement à la décoration soignée est en tous points conforme aux photos. Tout en étant dans une rue calme, il est très bien placé et de nombreux restaurants et activités sont disponibles à pied. Nous avons été très bien accueillies et Monica à toujours répondu à nos interrogations avec amabilité et diligence. Une vraie bonne adresse pour découvrir Amsterdam !!!

Fantastic place to stay in the heart of Amsterdam on a beautiful canal. So many great shops and restaurants nearby. The bedrooms were comfortable and cosy. We really enjoyed our stay and Willie was very helpful and responsive at all times. There are very steep stairs in the house but we managed fine. Overall we loved it.

Nach einem langen Tag in Amsterdam haben wir die Ruhe in Broek in Waterland bei Haico sehr genossen. Das Haus ist gemütlich und bietet alles, was wir gebraucht haben: ein bequemes Bett, eine saubere Dusche und eine gut ausgestattete Küche, in der wir unser Frühstück zubereiten und abends kleine Mahlzeiten wie Pasta oder Sandwiches machen konnten. Die Lage ist ideal, um schnell nach Amsterdam zu gelangen, und die Busverbindung ist sehr gut.

Hote super sympa, apparemment propre et très bien pour un week-end, à 10 minutes du métro, 10 minutes d'un supermarché etc et pas en plein centre donc calme le soir et la journée

Fantastic apartment, really clean and comfortable in a great neighbourhood: peaceful but walking distance to everything you could need. Loes and Fokke are wonderful hosts, warm and helpful- we had a brilliant few days exploring the city from the perfect base.

Raul was a wonderful host with a unit right in the heart of Amsterdam! He was very responsive and the place was large and extremely clean and stylish. We were traveling with a baby which definitely adds layers of complexity and Raul was very supportive and accommodating!

A great place for a couple to stay in Amsterdam, great restaurants, lots of sights in walking distance and very close to the railway station. This made access from the airport on public transport very easy. The apartment is spacious, modern and very clean. The downstairs bedroom is very comfortable with an excellent en suite shower room and free from noise as it is below ground level. As advertised, it is accessed down a steep spiral staircase which was fine, but would be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. The kitchen has a fridge, and an espresso coffee machine which allowed us to make a simple continental breakfast. There are no facilities to cook food, but there are many excellent restaurants within yards, of the front door so treat yourself!! For those who like a Dutch dining experience, we would recommend Van Speyk which is next door ( where we went twice). Food, service and ambiance excellent both times. Thanks again Raul and Atilla for making our city break wonderful

Great place, right next to central station and a short walk to the canals

Arjen has quite the incredible apartment near the train station. Nice sized Duplex with outdoor deck off the bedrooms. It couldn't have been more comfortable, with great light, herbs and berries growing on the deck that he encouraged you to consume. It's convenient to almost everything. As others have said the stairs, at first seem daunting, but once you get used to it, it stops being a problem. Arjen was there too meet us when we arrived. He generously carried our bags up the stairs, acclimated us to the space and then took us on a tour of the neighborhood. He was there when we left to go to the airport at 6:30 am to carry our bags back down the steps. He's very charming and articulate. He was never intrusive but always responsive. He loves his city and is willing to share locals only things to do. Next time I come to Amsterdam I'll look to to stay here first.

Madelinde is a great host and was very welcoming. We had everything we needed. Great location! Close to bus stop and tram and an easy walk to the main attractions. We had a wonderful time and look forward to our next stay. We recommend.

Laurens was so friendly and responsive! His place is in a great location and was super clean. Highly recommend staying here!

Eine einzigartige Unterkunft mitten im Grachtenzentrum! Wenn man die wunderschöne kleine Dachwohnung über die schmale Treppe erreicht hat, weiß man: Alles richtig gemacht! Sebastiaan ist ein perfekter Gastgeber, überaus hilfsbereit, freundlich und liebenswert. Alles ist blitzsauber, wunderschön dekoriert inklusive frischer Blumen und Willkommens-Cava! Nachts schläft man trotz der zentralen Lage hervorragend, da es vollkommen ruhig ist. Man kann gar nicht genug schwärmen. Nur barrierefrei ist es nicht.

We had a particular reason to visit Amsterdam and selected carefully from the available options. We also needed to be well placed in relation to museums and concert hall. Anthony’s accommodation was perfect and stood out as being one of the most spacious, well designed, generously supplied, and carefully finished. Everything was notably clean and ‘hi-spec’ and the modern facilities covered every need. The bed was large and comfortable, and we particularly liked the wallpaper pattern of the dancing red-capped cranes that surrounded it. As ‘newbies’ to the delights of the latest tech, we very much enjoyed that the washing machine sang Schubert’s ‘Die Forelle’ to us to let us know it had reached the end of the cycle! We appreciated the provision of coffee, tea, and basic supplies. We were well informed, we felt secure, and very hospitably provided for. Anthony was friendly and responsive to every message prior to and during our stay. Being there was a pleasure. Highly recommended.

Das Haus liegt in einer wunderschönen und ruhigen Umgebung. Es ist für Naturliebhaber leicht zu erreichen und dennoch nur 25 Minuten vom Stadtzentrum Amsterdams entfernt. Wir vermissten lediglich eine größere Spüle zum Abwaschen des Frühstücksgeschirrs. Insgesamt war es aber eine sehr sympathische Erfahrung.

Jessica and her partner were very proactive and we were greeted the minute we parked the car. They live right next door. The apartment was immaculate and the views are stunning. Also good recommendations for nearby restaurants. Thanks for the hospitality.

Я останавливался у Peet в Амстердаме и остался очень доволен! Peet был невероятно внимательным и отзывчивым хозяином — дал чёткие инструкции, быстро отвечал на сообщения и с готовностью помог, когда у меня возник вопрос по технике. Квартира очень уютная, чистая и отлично расположена. Всё, что нужно для комфортного проживания, было под рукой. Особенно порадовало наличие мелочей, таких как яйцеварка и подробная инструкция по дому — видно, что хозяин действительно заботится о гостях. Рекомендую с уверенностью и с удовольствием вернусь снова!

Location is perfect, place is nice and roomy, steps and hallway are a bit narrow but was totally fine for us. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Cute cafe nearby for breakfast. Host was great as well. Lots of good recommendations!!

Perfekt gelegene Wohnung von der man abends einen traumhaften Sonnenuntergang genießen kann. Die Beachbars liegen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Zum Zentrum sind es ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Ein Pluspunkt ist der zur Wohnung gehörende und auf dem Grundstück liegende Parkplatz. Wir können das stilvoll eingerichtete Beachhouse auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

A pleasure to stay here. Much better than a hotel. Felt like home from home. As a result of a great stay, will come back again with my wife. So close to the centre but also perfectly set a little away. Great restaurants, bakery and bars nearby. A great place for taking a run each day and of course, pick up a bike and take a ride.
