Surrounded by pastures with grazing cows, our 2018 renovated holiday home is located in the middle of the countryside, which used to be a small farm. The North Sea dike of the southern Jade bus is a 2km away. The idyllically located house is also ideal for a multi-generational vacation, for 2 friendly families or even for a holiday with friends. The large garden with adjoining sunbathing lawn and play equipment is fenced in and therefore suitable for small children and four-legged friends.

A 19th century farmhouse surrounded by large oaks with a huge garden awaits you. The property is located on the outskirts of Platjenwerbe in direct proximity to Bremen. From the house, you can look far over green meadows directly into the Auetal recreation area. In summer, there are horses right outside the house with their small foals, which are always happy about a petting session. You are vacationing in the residential town of Rastede. The vacation home is located about 200 m from the Hirschtor, which is the entrance to the Rastede Palace Park. Beautiful hiking trails invite you to relax and do sports activities such as jogging, walking and hiking. Within a radius of less than a kilometer, your physical well-being is ensured by several grocery stores and bakeries. Car and bikes are supplied by gas station and bike shop/workshop.

If you stay in this centrally located accommodation, your family will have all the important points of contact close by. Sandkruger train station is about 5 minutes away by bike (2 km). From there you can take the train north (Ahlhorn / Osnabrück) and south (Oldenburg / Bremen). In addition, there is a bus stop within walking distance (about 700 m).

This unique place has a style all its own. On 85 square meters, the cozy living room with open kitchen, a small office and the pretty guest toilet are located on the first floor. The staircase leads to the gallery, where there is a comfortable sofa bed and a TV. The bedroom has a spacious box-spring bed and the directly adjacent bathroom.

In the middle of Oldenburg above the rooftops

The apartment is located in the attic of our house. This can only be reached via stairs on the fourth floor (no elevator) and you have a magnificent view over the roofs of Oldenburg. If you arrive by car, please let us know in advance, there is parking in front of the house. All public and private areas are non-smoking zones.
