Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Amboise

Very pleasant two-night stay in this old village school renovated with great taste. The accommodation is functional and very well equipped.

It was wonderful to stay in a home connected to the history of the Loire area and its architecture. We loved the elegant, tall windows, the high ceilings, the wide hallways, the fire places, the lovely lounge and dining rooms, the views of the climbing roses from the bedrooms along the back side of the house, the spacious, main bedroom and the large garden with it comfortable furniture. We ate outside and enjoyed the garden. The kitchen is pretty but a little narrow for a couple of people to work in there at the same time. It is well equiped, with everything you need to prepare meals. The main bathroom is spacious. The second bathroom is bath only with shower attachment in the bath. It was fine for us. The house is decorated with soft, pastel wall paper and is quite sparse in its decoration which I loved because I could enjoy the structures of the home without them being hidden by too much decoration. We loved our stay and would stay again. Carol also kindly looked after us.

We were very warmly welcomed by Justine. The accommodation is very clean and good quality and it is close to Amboise. The breakfast provided by Justine is a real plus. Beautiful accommodation with a fenced garden for the dog. We'll be happy to go back!

This was a perfect place for us and our 8 month old baby - complete with cot and high chair. The garden was very nice to have outdoors meals in and both train station and the centre of Amboise was in walking distance. Excellent restaurants both on the island and across the bridge (we were head over heels with the food at L'Ecluse). Christèle was super friendly and responsive, we would highly recommend their place for a vacation in Amboise.

Simply perfect! It's a gem! The accommodation offers all the essentials for a great weekend.

The cottage matches the photos and is within walking distance of 10 min from the center. The welcome was simply directly with Christine and warmly. We were there at the end of May and the small garden is perfect for breakfast or relaxing after a day, surrounded by greenery and calm. The interior of the cottage is functional and tasteful. The bathroom is modern and well redone. Christine also gave us tips about the shops nearby. A cottage that we highly recommend.

All your suggestions were wonderful. Within 20 minutes of many main chateaus. Had a magical time in the Loire Valley. Hot Air Balloon memories for a lifetime. Was very relaxing coming back to peace and quiet after a long day of exploring. Highly recommend!!!

This apartment was PERFECT as a home base for discovering the chateaux of the Loire Valley. The building is from the 1600's and exudes charm with all the modern amenities, is right around the corner from all the restaurants and literally in the shadow of Chateau Amboise. Karine is very pleasant, has excellent English and was very quick to respond. We really appreciated her added touches such as coffee, creamer and jam in the fridge, fruit and a nice selection of the region's wine available for purchase. Fantastic, A++!

We really enjoyed our stay at Aude’s apartment. It was bigger than we expected and we appreciated the wine that she left for our arrival! The bedding was comfortable and as others have mentioned, the coffee machine was very nice to have. We had a rental car so made use of her private garage on the street behind the apartment. We loved the balcony and view of the river, though there is ongoing construction between the apartment and the river so the construction site/crane took away from the tranquility. There was also quite a bit of construction noise during the day, though we were out most of the working hours so it didn’t bother us too much.

Excellent stay, Laura's accommodation is just impeccable, good location, ultra clean, quality bedding and ideally located accommodation. The view from the living room or bedroom is beautiful day or night. Laura gives all the information clearly, I really recommend it.

Our stay at Coralie’s Amboise home was fantastic. The communication with her was outstanding. She was always ready to answer questions, to help with any issue, and to make you feel immediately at home. She was super-accommodating and generous. What wonderful hospitality! The home has plenty of room, all the kitchen accessories you need for home-cooked meals, and if you have kids, they have games and toys ready for fun! The place is bright, and the location is private, but also close to the “Main Street” area. It is a sanctuary after a day of touring. If you want to go to Chenonceau and don’t have a car, there is a bus stop not far (theater) and the bus will drop you off at the entrance of the chateau. We would definitely recommend this for a small family holiday!!!❤️

Fabulous trip! We are so pleased with our choice to stay here - it was the perfect, cozy spot for me, my husband, and my mom & dad to explore Amboise. We could loll about drinking our coffee in the morning -- on the spacious patio or in the spacious living room -- and we LOVED being in a spot where we could walk to everything, as we didn't want to rent a car for our stay. It's not everyday that I walk outside and go, "Oh look, I'm RIGHT NEXT TO A CASTLE." Beautiful. The home is clean, well appointed, stocked with everything you need, and comfortable. Our only recommendation is to add a railing for the second flight of stairs up to the apartment, as my older parents (okay, and me!) would have benefited greatly from this. Hosts are responsive, friendly, clear, and informative. I would highly recommend this AirBnB for anyone coming to Amboise!

Romain and Evelyne's apartment is really more than perfect for visiting Blois and its surroundings. The photos don't do justice to the quality of what's offered. Nothing is missing, even coffee and other utilities in abundance. Impeccable cleanliness, modern, very comfortable bed, quiet neighborhood, you feel at home. Very good location, you can get to the Château de Blois and several sites of interest on foot in a few minutes. Secured parking is a big advantage. The nearby Intermarché is also a plus. Unfortunately, because of the temperature we were unable to enjoy the small terrace, but it is available. Recommended without a second thought because lucky those who can stay in this apartment.

My wife and I had a lovely week in Tours and used François apartment as a base to explore the Loire valley and visit its many Chateau’s. The apartment is exceptionally well kept and fully equipped and is located in an ideal spot to explore the city on foot. The included underground car parking is very secure and the apartment is then easily accesible by lift. Highly recommended.

We had a great time at Bertrand's place. We were able to enjoy the hot tub and pool. The listing matches the photos and descriptions perfectly. We'll be happy to go back! Thanks for the stay.
