Our guest house is situated atop a hill with panoramic views of the surrounding scenery and historic Tarka Trail. Fully self-contained building, patio and parking area. The beautiful rural village of Weare Giffard meanders along the banks of the river Torridge. The accommodation can be found nestled in the garden of the old village school with lovely views of the river and woods beyond. The compact accommodation is designed to make the most of the surrounding scenery. The Garden Room is but a stones throw from the Tarka Trail which provides over 70 miles of traffic-free cycling or walking. The North Devon coast and it’s beaches are a short drive away.

Come stay in beautiful North Devon. Great beaches and rugged coasts. Although very quiet and rural we are only 10 minutes from Instow and 15 from Appledore, with lots of good pubs and restaurants. Saunton Sands, Croyde Bay and Putsborough/Woolacombe are all within easy reach. To the West the wonderful Hartland Peninsula. Both Exmoor and North Devon coast and Dartmoor are about 40 mins drive. One small to medium well behaved dog is welcome if accompanied by similar humans! 😁

Situated within our grounds the barn is self contained and separate from the main house. The accommodation includes a comfortable and cosy sitting room with dining area, a well equipped kitchen, a downstairs bathroom and a double bedroom upstairs.
