Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Alto Alentejo

Ana’s place is charming and comfortable. The view from the back terrace is spectacular. Ana kindly made a dinner reservation for us nearby and supplied us with freshly baked bread for breakfast. She is an excellent host and her place is perfect for relaxing in peaceful and beautiful surroundings. We wished we had time to swim at the nearby river pool which looked amazing. Maybe next time! Perfect for those looking for a few peaceful days to disconnect. Heitor and Bernardina are fantastic, they help with anything that is needed and we feel at home. These days were fantastic and we hope to return.

We stayed at Casa Rosaria for a week and really enjoyed it. We used it as a base to explore the region and many places of interest were 30-40 minutes away in various different directions. The renovation was beautifully done and the space looks like it's straight out of the pages of a design magazine. The kitchen and pantry were well stocked with everything we needed. Sarah and Steve were friendly and knowledgeable hosts and we highly recommend Casa Rosaria at Chumbaria.

Rita was an exceptional host. She provided clear directions and many options regarding places to visit. Her place is both well cared for and well stocked for everything you need.

Excellent accommodation for those looking for tranquility in the countryside. Mrs. Helena and Mr. Carlos is as amazing and friendly as the place itself. The houses are very clean and well-equipped. We had the opportunity to see the chickens, the friendly donkey Serafim and the dog Nougat. The pool is clean and wonderful. The laundry and fruit trees are also spectacular. We traveled with a dog and a 2-year-old and loved the experience. We'll definitely be back

Our experience was very very positive! The house is in a beautiful location with a fantastic scenery to look at, from the dining room or from the pool area (we had cold weather and rain unfortunately, the landscape was breathtaking but I am sure using the pool could be a really great experience!). We spent three wonderful days here going from Lisbon to Porto. Such a beautiful and peaceful place, and the perfect retreat between our city visits. Vítor was so kind and hospitable. Would love to come back!

Fantastic stay in Cáceres. The location cannot be beat, the apartment cannot be beat, and the hosts are incredible. Gorgeous, roomy, modern apartment right on the Plaza Mayor, Quick walk to everything, sights and restaurants. Would love to come back and spend more time here.

We were a group of four friends staying over a long weekend in this apartment and I have to say just wow! The apartment is very clean and has lots of space for a group of four. AC in every room, two balconys, full equiped kitchen and a short walk from lots of happenings in the city. Artur was an amazing host with good local recommendations, friendly messages and guidance. We loved our stay here and would love to come back!

It’s really a great apartment and location (train station and restaurants just down the street). I was traveling with a friend and so it was great to each have nice rooms and also have a communal space to hang out. We enjoyed the terrace quite a lot as well. The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch. It was one of the nicest @irBnB’s I have stayed at. Cipriana also was super, because she let us know the apartment was ready before the scheduled check in so we got a few extra hours on the terrace!

Excellent stay. The location was great - and the home was clean and spacious for all 5 of us (family, including 19mo old). The child-friendly toys and crib/high-chair were huge helps. The location was just around the corner from great shops and restaurants. And we hiked from the Airbnb to the top of the Pena Palace. We stayed for 2 nights, and I wish we had time to stay longer. Would highly recommend for groups that need 3 bedrooms in Sintra!

The place was just as advertised with a beautiful view from the windows. The main city center was about 20 min walk with so many shops and restaurants along the way. We were able to check in a little early since we arrived early by plane, which made it so easy so we didn’t have to haul our luggage around. Carmen was great at explaining everything and we had everything we needed in the unit. We were even surprised with fresh fruit and pastries, and some beer and juice in the fridge. We would HIGHLY recommend a stay here.

Great stay for a group birthday!! There were 23 of us, the villa is very suitable, and beautiful. Star was very attentive to ensure that everything went perfectly, it is very appreciable. We already want to come back for a new event!!

José Pedro was a wonderful, attentive host. The home was one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed - large bedrooms, lots of light, a well equipped kitchen, and a luxurious back yard perfect for lounging and outdoor cooking. Fresh bread was provided each morning, still warm, which was the perfect touch. The town is small, but there are many things to do within a short drive’s distance. Would happily return.

Amazing place to stay with incredible views. Served as an excellent stay to relax and recharge on our road trip around Portugal. The pool was great for our kids during some hot days. Perfect place to disconnect from it all and appreciate the views. The added massage option was great for the adults. The sauna was pristine and clean. Need to find something similar back home in the US.

Ana and Nuno’s place was amazing! It was so spacious, they had everything you would need and nothing was too much to ask of them. They were fabulous hosts and have an amazing house.
