Cottage vacation rentals in Alto Alentejo

We were two couples with a child and two large dogs. We were super well received by Mr. Carlos, who, in addition to being a very affable person, was always available. The place is beautiful, the photos don't do justice to the house and the entire surrounding farm.

We went to the country house with friends and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. The idea that the bedrooms are downstairs and the rest of the rooms in the house are upstairs seemed very good to us for those who wanted to rest. Everything was very clean and the house is as shown in the listing. Alejandro is very friendly and gave us perfect directions to get there and to the parking area, since it's a small town and not all the streets are suitable for parking. Besides, the village is beautiful. We will definitely be back !!!

Very spacious house with pleasant terraces and a lovely swimming pool. Carlos and his wife welcomed us with open arms! They were very friendly and very flexible with check-in and check-out. Absolutely recommended!

Excellent stay, we really spent a few wonderful days with the family, both the house and the area were very nice. The service was luxurious, plus all the activities that could be done at home. The service with Cristina was a 10, very friendly, attentive to details and to have a great stay.

We spent the weekend and the place is beautiful, super well equipped. Ana has been pending since minute one and was quick to respond to everything I asked her. I would definitely repeat again, we were super comfortable.

We stayed here for our honeymoon two years ago and couldn't wait to come back. the area is so beautiful and the traditional Alentejo house is lovely. There is a good walking & cycling route along the ecopista, with lots of nature to see and hear. In the main town there are some excellent restaurants and the town market on Saturday is excellent. We love it here and we'll return!

Excellent estate for families with children. We were great in accommodation. The surroundings are wonderful, very quiet and beautiful.

We really enjoyed Casa de Asseiceira 2, very clean, very comfortable and functional, well-equipped; we didn't miss anything. The peace and tranquility that you can breathe in the place invite you to rest fully. Lurdes and Emanuel are super hosts, very kind, respectful of privacy, and at the same time attentive at all times, conveying the certainty that if you needed them they would be there, although it was not necessary, since from the first moment we had everything we needed to enjoy the stay. We opened a barbecue that we used every day, and we were able to taste the best fish from the Porto Covo municipal market at home. Thank you very much Lurdes and Emanuel for letting us enjoy your house, we left with the sadness and at the same time joy of leaving behind some unforgettable days.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is beautiful. The area is peaceful and quiet. There is a little grocery store and restaurant within walking distance. It was a lovely spot to stay and drive to Fatima and other sites in the area. Hosts are very responsive and helpful. We had a little trouble finding the place and they came right away and met us. Would definitely stay again!!

This is our 3rd time back to Miguel’s house. We love it here, it’s perfect with or without children. We have done both. It’s a great location, peaceful but with a few useful places in the village and a really quick drive to any and all amenities and supermarkets. We will most certainly be visiting again. Unique location, far away from all the hustle and bustle. A place to relax with a fantastic garden, swimming pool with sun loungers for cooling off and very clean and tidy interior. The accommodation has all the comforts. Sonia responded quickly, attentively and very kindly to our questions. The nearest large supermarket is 15 minutes by car. Please note: the last few hundred meters to the accommodation are unpaved and very narrow, so drive carefully. But upon arrival, the great enjoyment begins!

The house is surrounded by trees, chirping birds, and fresh air. Inside, the home was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the resident cat—friendly, independent, and lovable. She added such a warm, homey touch to the whole experience. The host was kind and responsive, providing clear instructions and great local tips. We left feeling rested and recharged. Highly recommend

Perfect location - charming house - absolute calm - stunning views

Nuno was a very helpful and communicative host. You can tell he cares a lot about the local community and area. The village itself was lovely.

We stayed at Daniel's place for a little more than a week. It was a very restful experience for us in a beautiful rural setting. There are services like restaurants and grocery stores within a close distance at Montemor-o-Novo. It is easy to make meals at the house if you want, the kitchen is well equipped. The house is nicely renovated in a way that blends new and old. It feels very spacious even though it is a modest size. There is an outdoor eating area shaded by a trellis and a large tree that provides a great space for outdoor dining and relaxing. The house interior stays at a comfortable temperature even when it is quite warm outside. Daniel was very helpful with suggestions about things to do in the area and where to eat. We would definitely return again if possible.

I was once again well received by Grace, who proves to always be attentive, helpful and available to help with anything. Including cooking good dishes! Grateful for Rita's attention and availability, which is very communicative and concerned about guests. Celine's estate is a true haven of peace, with a natural beauty that conveys enormous sensations of calmness and lightness. It is always a pleasure to be in the company of the farm animals and to be able to interact with everyone. I'll come back a third time🤍

Very good hospitality from the host who is very responsive, accommodating, with whom communication is easy. A cute house where it has everything you need, in a quiet location, well located for Sintra and Lisbon. The outside is very pleasant and well appointed. The bathroom is small and only smelly inconvenience. We had a great time here for a week.
