Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Altenburg

We (2 adults, 1 teenager and a dog) were very satisfied. Everything is very nice. The "wild" garden was very pleasing. There are many shopping facilities on site that are also within walking distance. If we're in the area again, we'd book the cottage again.

This is a beautiful tiny house with a morning and evening terrace, in absolute silence. Lovingly, crazy furnished, which was perfect for us! Perfect even with our dogs!Everything we needed. Chemnitz, Aue, Schwarzenberg and Gotha, close to Zwickau and super interesting! The best thing for us, as gourmets and former restaurateurs, was the Jägerklause in Waldbach! Extremely good, home-cooked food!!! Asparagus, fish, game burger, roast really great! (Opening hours!) This short vacation was so successful!!! We'll repeat it!

We felt very comfortable with Denise and Ralf. The place is clean and nicely decorated. They are very friendly hosts and very attentive to the well-being of the guests. We'll be back. :)

We were greeted by Ilka, everything was perfect. The house is really atypical, renovated in a very faithful way to its time, thank you for this setting and this welcome!

We spent New Year's Eve as a group of 5 friends, a toddler and a dog in Berga-Wünschendorf to escape the chaos of the big city, find peace and spend a cozy time together. We could all this in Fynn's apartment! All three parties had their separate rooms, found, but we were able to cook together in the large kitchen, be together in the large living room or play in the garden. Especially with a toddler and dog a real advantage! With a cot and high chair, the apartment was perfectly prepared for this. The decor was not only super appealing, but also extensive, practical and modern (smart TV, induction stove, even washing machine fridge). The surroundings didn't give much in the season without snow, but that wasn't our goal either. There is a train running at the garden every 30 minutes, but you hardly hear it at all, and who was more of a faithful companion who stopped by from time to time. We will be back!

Our stay at Anneliese's place was great. It is a 10 min from the centre, close from other places to visit and 2 mim from kaufland. It was very calm the bed was comfortable and there was everything we needed for the stay. Thank you!

I had a few very relaxing days in the Grünhäuschen. The accommodation is lovingly decorated, clean and quiet – perfect for switching off. Everything was as described, WiFi and amenities worked great. Unfortunately, I was unable to meet Tímea and Gábor in person, but the communication was consistently friendly and reliable. Thank you for this beautiful retreat – I'd love to come back!

We were guests for 2 days for two and felt right at home in the lovingly furnished small apartment on the ground floor. Everything was clean and inviting, the bathroom with large shower well equipped and there is also a private small terrace. The reception by Christin was also very friendly, and when we said goodbye we also got to know Silvio. The recommendation of the city of Freiberg was also very valuable to us, where there was much for us to discover. Our tip: cathedral tour with 10 min organ recital on the famous Silbermann organ and the coffee roastery Momo in the Korngasse (pedestrian zone), where we enjoyed delicious coffee. We will be happy to come back!

Dorit was very helpful, we had booked here for an activity nearby. Due to change of plans, we should have canceled our overnight stay. Since someone else was looking for another place for the same event, he could take over the place from us without any problem. Dorit was very helpful in this for which thank you.

Beautifully equipped house with huge garden. We felt incredibly comfortable and can only recommend the accommodation. The host Tristan is very helpful, generous and was easily accessible to us. Thank you very much!!! We plan to come back next year ;-)

The accommodation in the caravan was clean, tidy and functional. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the place.

We had a lovely weekend there. The place looks like the photos, is clean and beautifully located, surrounded by fields. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to be. Communication with the host was great, always received a quick response. The only thing we didn't like so much is that we weren't very flexible with the checkout, as it was a personal checkout and the lady had to drive there and there was a time window. However, the woman was also very nice!

We stayed at John's place for 2 nights. The cottages are really superbly furnished and are not too small for a family of 4. So here you can also stand it longer. 😊 In the kitchen and bathroom, things like coffee filters, salt, shampoo, toilet paper were available to avoid having to go shopping right away - except food of course. 😉 You can walk right by the house into the forest. 👍 It was not so quiet with us on the WE, which is certainly the case - because there was a dog tournament with us. Otherwise, I can definitely recommend the accommodation and we will definitely come back.

we were with a child and seven adults in the treasure chest and had a wonderful stay. We felt right at home, grilled in the garden and used the pool, explored Marienberg and made a detour to the Kühnau Heath and the Schwarzwassertal to the Teufelsmauer and the Katzenstein. There are very well-developed hiking trails in a beautiful landscape. We will definitely be back. The place itself exceeded our expectations. The beds were wonderfully comfortable and there were delicious fresh eggs. Shopping facilities were in walking distance. The only thing that may be considered problematic is the fact that there are only two toilets and one shower. But if you coordinate well and there are early risers, then it works. We enjoyed the extended weekend at Lake Park Auenhain very much, we can highly recommend the house and the settlement, especially for families. After booking, we had contact directly with the reception of the lake park (by email and phone), very fast and uncomplicated communication. The house had everything you need, various things (e.g. cot, high chair, barbecue) could be booked. The house is close to the lake, only a 10-15 minute walk, all accessible. In the lake you can swim, it has playgrounds, a restaurant, etc. In the settlement itself there is also a restaurant, which we can highly recommend too! Since everything is in the countryside and close to the water, there are mosquitoes, most rooms had corresponding nets on the windows. If you want to inquire about possibilities in the settlement as well as in the area, just check the website of the settlement. Overall a very good value for money, we would book again anytime!

Amazing stay ! Sad that it was only for one night for us and we would have liked to stay more. It is worth nothing that the apartment is on the 6th or 7th floor without an elevator which was a bit of struggle since I had senior members with me. No complaints ! It was an amazing stay

Susan is a very communicative person, she gave us a lot of necessary information. Unfortunately we did not meet in person, the keys were given to us by Susan's mother, who is a very nice and warm person. The apartment is beautiful and very well equipped. There is a parking space and a basement for bicycles. We will gladly stay there again.

It was so nice, this apartment is so stylish and harmoniously furnished. I fell in love and would have liked to have stayed longer. Arrangements were easy and Isabel is very sweet and nice. I will definitely return and highly recommend a stay here. Thanks again ☺️

The apartment is very well equipped and furnished with a lot of love for detail. Everything is as described and even coffee beans in the coffee machine were even provided upon arrival. Our almost one-year-old daughter also felt very comfortable. We also found the private parking space, the possibility of safely storing bicycles and the walking distance to the supermarket with a bakery to be particularly practical. By bike, we could easily reach several lakes as well as Leipzig city center and thus had a wonderful short vacation in and near Zwenkau.

Very relaxed place to unwind and make a fire.

As it was my first time visiting Germany I really enjoyed my stay here. It's located in a very convenient area and I was easily able to get around. The apartment was lovely and Martin was a great host! I felt right at home and loved the decor. I look forward to booking here again on my next trip !

For our travel group of 5 adults and 2 children, the loft was absolutely perfect: enough retreats for everyone, two bathrooms and more than enough space to eat together at the large table. I can highly recommend the apartment for families with children - there are many play and exercise options, both indoors and outdoors! Thank you, Jenny and Michael!
