Villa vacation rentals in Altamura

Paola's house was lovely - it was just steps from the water. The path down to the front door was lined with eucalyptus trees which smelled incredible! the house was as presented in the pictures - clean with plenty of space both inside and outside to hang out! Paola provided great recommendations for local restaurants. I would recommend renting a car if you are staying here - we did and it was perfect for heading into old town Bari and exploring some of the towns up and down the coast. There are several restaurants, bars, and cafes in walking distance as well.

Giuseppe (& Vlad) were really friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcome with lots of suggestions to make the most of our stay. The apartment was perfect for our needs with a lovely verandah to sit out in the shade, nice and quiet but still within easy walking distance of beach, harbour, restaurants and public transport.

We stayed four nights at Teresa’s place and had a wonderful experience. Teresa welcomed us warmly with some snacks and local treats upon arrival and was always available to help throughout our stay. The villa looks just like the photos—very clean, spacious, and fully equipped with everything you might need. We especially loved the terrace and the pool area, where we could relax after our morning runs. The area around the house has plenty of quiet country roads that are perfect for walking or running. The villa is also within easy driving distance of several charming towns, including Conversano, Polignano a Mare, and Alberobello—well worth visiting during your stay.

Very well located cottage, in close proximity to the sea. Our two-week stay at the end of May was very quiet, as the season had not started. The setting is very pleasant, in a very protected pine forest. The cottage is spacious, and very well-equipped. The welcome was great, in a perfectly tidy and clean house. The owner and his family are available and very welcoming. Within a 1.5-hour radius, many tourist sites are accessible. I would highly recommend it, especially in May and early June, when peace and quiet are guaranteed. Great experience. Recommended!

We had a great time at Carmela and her husband's. We were very well looked after (thank you for the focaccia and everything else, it was delicious). The villa is beautiful, lost in the middle of cherry trees, it was very relaxing. It's a good base for visiting the surroundings. There was everything we needed, everything was clean and tidy. We had a problem with the coffee machine and it was replaced the next day (with coffee and donuts as a bonus, thank you). The tips were valuable. I recommend it 200%. A big thank you to Carmela and Francesco, great hosts. 😊

We stayed in the villa with 6 people. The stay went very well, the environment is quiet! Domenico was very flexible about our arrival and made us feel at home! We highly recommend it!

Our family of 6 had an amazing week at Julian's house. We loved the location near so many towns with great restaurants and beaches. The house is beautifully decorated and spacious. The patio and pool area was perfect and even nicer at night with all the lighting. Darren is great and very communicative. We wish we could have stayed a month!

An absolutely beautiful holiday home for a very peaceful stay in Puglia. It’s close enough to walk to Polignano a Mare (which is stunning and has great restaurants) though only if you’re okay walking ~30mins. There are tuktuks in town to take you back. It’s very close to the marina (<5min walk) so perfect for taking a boat tour of the local coast line which I highly recommend. There is a rocky beach nearby for getting in the sea but not a lot of room for laying out all day. Highly recommend a rental car if you wanna get the most out of the location. Tony is the owner and looked after the pool. He was incredible and highly responsive, even though he pays the agency to look after the place, he was very hands on. Really glad too because the agency contact was not very helpful. He even came to sort out a power outage very quickly one night and drove us to the train station on our last day! All in all, a beautiful property in a beautiful place.

Paul’s home is absolutely fabulous! So much space, clean, and beautifully landscaped. Domenico, the caregiver, was awesome as well. Only suggestion is to be very specific with who you intend to have visit or stay at the house ahead of time.

It's a perfect place to stay for big group. Large kitchen, dining area and living hall. Giovanni had been a great host. Prepare breakfast every morning and responsive host. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Matera & Alberobello area.

What a lovely stay in this beautiful villa. Where there is everything you could possibly need. Very beautiful region where there is plenty to do. We had the rented cars delivered and picked up at this villa, which was very convenient. The villa and the pool, garden and terraces are exceptionally well maintained and clean. Exceptionally flexible host who was always able to pass on the best tips for the stay, transport, restaurants, day trips etc. Everything was very well organised. And Giulio is always available. Enjoy and relax without worries! I definitely recommend it to you.

We had a wonderful stay at Olga Myriam's villa. She & her husband were so sweet to welcome us with plenty of fresh fruits, home- made bread, italian biscuit... The villa is so spacious with a swimming pool, football pitch and an olive garden. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for your cooking. The location is ideal for exploring Puglia,. One important note, if you use google map to reach the villa, remember to search "Mina Villa", it will lead you to Olga's villa exactly, don't use the address on the listing. Highly recommended!

Our host Gianvito was totally awesome person extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about by the town He suggested every single restaurant we went to and every one of was a 10 The property is beautiful very well maintain very comfortable and clean. A peaceful little piece of paradise in cassano the house is a little out of the way so the place is quiet (except during the holidays where there are some fireworks, which did not bother us at all) and in cassano there is everything you need, supermarket, pharmacy, laundry, gas stations and restaurants all accessible by car. As for Manuela, a perfect welcome with the explanations of the different outbuildings, speaks very good French which was very helpful ^^ and who advised us on most of our visits and we thank her for these valuable tips! In short, a beautiful stay in a clean place, with lots of charm, easily accessible by car, which facilitates exchange and sharing! Thanks Manuela:)

We absolutely loved staying at Giovannis place, a fantastic stay in a beautiful countryside setting. The accommodation was great, clean and comfortable. The pool was very welcoming as it was pretty hot weather during our stay. Carlo and Angela were exceptional hosts, nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel at home from the first day. We had a great BBQ together and Angela also cooked a fabulous local dish for us to try. It was sad to leave, could have easily spent more time there, location is great for touring as nothing is too far away. Highly recommended. Thanks

We had a lovely time at Torre Nuova. The villa is absolutely beautiful. There is plenty of outdoor space. The pool is excellent, having its full separate bathroom, fridge freezer and music connectivity for sunny days by the pool. The outdoor seating area was perfect for the family, the induction hob was useful for evening meals with beautiful night lighting. The bedrooms are stunning and extremely cool with the white washed brickwork, very comfortable beds. The villa is spotless!! I would highly recommend this property for a quiet holiday away from it all. We wish we stayed longer! Your own transport is definitely required, but the roads are very easy to navigate and local supermarkets only a 4 minute drive! Spyros is a wonderful host who has made the house a home with lovely attention to detail. There was a fabulous view from the house, the rooms were comfortable and everything was fully usable. We felt at home right away, and would struggle to find anything that could be improved! thankyou Spyros, we will definitely return to your house next time we visit Puglia

Vitina was a very helpful host. She was very responsive at any time. The best place you can get in Polignano a Mare.

Beautifull villa with a beautufull view. comfy rooms and nice annex if you have a toddler that you dont want disturbing the other guests.

I would like to note that this was one of the best AirBnB experiences we have ever had. The house and property were an absolute dream. Ideal value for money. Everything very very clean and wonderfully furnished, it had everything you need and more. But above all, I would like to highlight the hosts, such nice and loving people who tried very hard and were always there. I would describe them as absolute “super hosts.” We will be happy to come back.
