Peaceful, comfortable, clean and welcoming. Greeted on the doorstep by Mary who explained everything to us. The home made bread and scones were a surprise and extremely tasty (we wish we had asked for the recipe for the malt loaf). All in all, an enjoyable couple of days in and around Folkestone. We can recommend Mary’s place to other travellers to the area.

We spent three unforgettable nights at this lovely cabin on the farm with my wife. The setting is absolutely peaceful — surrounded by nature, sheep, and horses. The host was incredibly welcoming and even left us a delicious homemade pie, fresh eggs, and milk, which made for perfect breakfasts. We enjoyed most of our meals outside, taking in the beautiful sunsets. There’s also a fantastic outdoor jacuzzi bath that needs to be booked separately, but it’s absolutely worth it. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax and unwind!

Gareth's Airbnb was absolutely perfect. He was super accommodating and it's truly the perfect spot for a getaway and to catch up with old friends. Highly recommend to others and would (will hopefully!) stay there again. Thank you!

Didn't meet George, but met his partner Tony who lived at premises. Beautiful private location and surroundings, very quite and peaceful. Narrow roads for a mile and half from main road but hardly any traffic at all so no problem. Good access to M20 once on main road. Good public foot paths in area for dog walking and private large grass area and woods in front of cabin. Accommodation inside good, a little dark due to trees but was excellent in hot weather plus good lighting inside Would recommend for privacy, total peace and quite with good accommodation.
