Vacation rentals with a kayak in Alexandria

The home was perfect for our group in town for a family wedding. Everything was as described and during our down time the deck was the perfect place to relax and visit. I wish we would have had more time to enjoy the lake views. Thank you for everything!

Great rental for our extended family. Loved the hot tub, large tv, large kitchen - plenty of room for us to spread out.

A wonderful family weekend. Even though the weather did not cooperate, there was plenty to do inside with some fun arcade games and foosball table. Very spacious kitchen, dining and living room. Lots of bedrooms and plenty of beds. If the weather were nice we would have loved the volleyball, dock & boat!

Amazing house for a large group! We had 14 people staying here plus two dogs and it worked really well. The back yard is peaceful and beautiful, and a portion is fenced for the dogs which they enjoyed! The large porch out back was fun for grilling one of our nights. Kitchen is a little small but very well appointed with pots/pans etc, we had no issues cooking all our meals for the weekend here. Plenty of parking either at the property or across the street, we had 8 cars and no issues. An easy walk into town from here for shopping and hitting up the local brewery which had an amazing patio! Overall we would stay again and recommend it for a large group of adults traveling together. Especially for the size of the place for the price, this will certainly beat a hotel experience.

We have a friend group of 10 adults and growing growing children. To find a place that fits all of us comfortably is a challenge, but this place was the perfect size. We had multiple places to hang out and we weren’t on top of each other. We will definitely be back again!

We had a really lovely stay here! The space is gorgeous and the sunset over the lake was stunning every night. Plenty of room to space out, as well as nice communal areas for dining together or watching a movie.

This was a perfect space for a friend board game weekend. The house was spacious for everyone and the backyard and lake view was beautiful.

We had a fantastic stay at the Lake Andrew cottages! Everything from the host meeting us at the door to walk through and give a step by step of the property, to enjoying a kayak ride at sunset, this place was one of the best! It was easy to communicate with the management for check in and I appreciated how welcome we felt. The cottage was very clean and had everything we could have possibly needed! The area is beautiful and we will definitely be back again in the future!

We had a great time at Rayn's place and her and Wayne were there to greet us and show us around. I loved the fantastic view and I think her place is decorated in such a unique and eclectic way, always something fun to look at. Even before we got there she was giving us ideas on things to do for the weekend, and even more suggestions for places to eat/shop when we got there. And of course the kayaking was exactly what we were hoping to do. We felt right at home and have everything available to use to make it a great stay. I would definitely stay again.

I've been coming to Spitzer to fish for a few years, and let me tell you this property is beautiful! If you're coming to take a fishing trip, this could be right up your alley. 10 mins from the launch and the sunrises and sunsets were great! We ended up switching to a cabin, and Amy and her team handled it with ease. They were very easy to communicate with if you needed anything. Don't hesitate to book here!

We loved staying in one of the cottages. Very clean and comfortable. We lucked out that things weren't very busy the weekend we visited so it was incredibly quiet. Even on a busier weekend, it still would be a great place, lots of space to explore. The beach was very nice with paddle boats, paddle boards and kayaks up for grabs. Amy and Tim were excellent hosts and quick to respond to questions. The cottage had a larger-than-average mini fridge with freezer, microwave, and coffee pot. We did assume that it would have well water (which is perfectly fine to drink, but an acquired taste) so we brought a 5 gallon jug for drinking water, just an fyi. We will definitely be visiting again!

The place was a great price for all the things included. We had a lot of fun and the host was very responsive. Loved the swing for my kids and the outdoor deck also a cool watershow in walking distance from home. Inside the downstairs was wonderful for the most part very cutesy, only problem I had was when I arrived the downstairs bedroom was a little damp but the dehumidifer was turned on and Windows opened and it was fine the rest of the time. Also maybe add some curtains into the living room downstairs for more privacy. Upstairs was great floors are a little odd but overall an amazing experience. Would stay again!

We had a wonderful time at Mary's Place. The charming home was spacious and easily accomadated our group. The access to the water was perfect and the lake is great. We would definitely recommend this property.

This use to be a summer camp that they've purposed into the airbnb, so there's lots of space. I was the only person staying on the property while I was there and it was great for a secluded retreat to think. I loved how isolated it was and peaceful.

We were greeted at the facility by a warm friendly couple who made us feel right at home. Nothing fancy here, just a clean comfortable private room in the middle of a peninsula surrounded by a landscape you sort of hope heaven is all about.

We just completed our second stay at Jennifer’s lovely lakeside retreat. As we were packing up I was wishing we had booked for two weeks instead of one. The place is immaculate, well-stocked, tastefully decorated and so so peaceful. Jennifer communicated extremely well and it’s clear that she puts immense thought into the experience of her guests. Absolutely love this place!

I was hoping to find a place near water that would accommodate four families and allow some local relatives to come and visit. The Diamond Point Lodge totally surpassed my expectations! What a beautiful place with great waterfront! Everyone was comfortable and enjoyed themselves in or out of the house. We didn’t leave the property, there was so much to do! We all felt lucky to spend a wonderful weekend with each other in this incredible place! Thank you!

My family and I truly enjoyed our trip to Scott's property. The house fit our big crew quite well. The beds were very comfortable. The kids loved the fun spaces in the house. The location was beautiful and peaceful. While there is a lot of vegetation along the lakeshore, there is a decent beach, and some shallow water that the smallest kids were able to enjoy. For the bigger kids, we brought the lily pad out to the middle of the lake, and they had a blast with that. The outdoor living space was great! Scott was friendly, helpful, responsive.

Awesome cabin with beautiful views and all the amenities

I could not have wished for a better place for my first visit to Minnesota. Immediately upon arriving, the cabin felt so welcoming. Luxurious but in a super comfortable way. I also loved the well equipped kitchen for cooking on nights in. The view of the lake was just so stunning.

Love the way this place is decorated! So cute! I love the wall art and table decorations. Watching birds on the lake and kayaking was so much fun! We had an absolutely beautiful time. Life jackets were provided along with paddles. This place was so beautiful with lots of natural sunlight. Fun hammock in the yard for reading. Such an excellent experience! Kitchen had all the essentials for washing dishes and cooking including seasonings. Pillows were comfortable with lots of extra blankets. We loved grilling steaks and putting together a fun jigsaw puzzle. Being able to do laundry for free was amazing too. We enjoyed watching a movie in a the bunkhouse and watching the sunrise. We went out farther on the lake in the kayak to watch the sunset and that was beautiful. Really really excellent place we are really looking forward to coming back.
