Artepalermo is a Bed and Breakfast apartment in the heart of the historic centre of Palermo on the top floor of an old, renovated house, without lift and surrounded by lanes, churches, markets, washing, squares and terraces. You will live in the house of an artist and you can visit her studio. Your room is more than 25 square metres, it has a double and a single bed, a sofa, a bureau and a balcony. There is also a shared sitting room, a shared dining room, a roof terrace, another atmospheric little terrace and a kitchen where guests can also cook. You will have a private bathroom, but it is not in the room itself. The furniture and the style of the apartment are basic with an artistic touch. It Is not luxurious! There is free quick unlimited internet( fibre). As we are really in the heart of the centre you can walk within a few minutes to the food markets, supermarkets, flea markets, shops, restaurants, musea, port and parcs. It is less than 5 minutes walking to the sea! The train station is at 10 minutes walking. In case you come by car (but you don't need it in Palermo) : you are not allowed to go into the old centre without a special pass ( the ZTL). But you can park on the Foro Italico (near Porta Felice is the nearest). If somebody asks you money, give him maximum 1 or 2 euros. We are a Dutch woman, a Tunisian man and a Sicilian dog. We speak English, Italian, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch and Arabic

We are within walking distance of the city's most interesting cultural attractions in the ancient Kalsa district. The apartment is located in the Albergheria district, near the Ballarò market, where you can enjoy typical cuisine and street food. You will be in a central location, about 500 meters from the Cathedral and the Central Station. The area is equipped with all services, shops and means of transport. The apartment is equipped with appliances, linens, television, Wifi and all comforts. For stays longer than 7 nights we offer the change of all necessary linens.

A stone's throw from the enchanting seafront of Trapani, you will enjoy both the sea in the morning and one of the most beautiful sunsets in the evening. You can easily reach the cableway to Erice and the harbor to embark towards the Egadi islands, accessible by public transport but I will also be happy to drive you. Breakfast, baked by me, is included. The neighborhood offers every kind of service: supermarket, bar, bakery, newsstand, etc.

The recently renovated b&b is located in the center of Calatafimi Segesta, near bars, restaurants, supermarkets and several commercial activities. It is 5 km from the temple of Segesta, 15 from the beaches of Castellammare del Golfo and 28 from the gypsy reserve. At 45 km you can reach the beautiful salt flats of Marsala and 42 km from the city of Erice. In addition, the airports of Palermo and Trapani are equidistant, about 35 km away.

The Oriental Fumoir at Ballarò Market

I live in the most lively and popular part of the historical centre of Palermo, exactly at the beginning of the famous Ballartò Market, in a large flat with a fumoir with oriental decorations from the early decades of the 20th century. It is not a B&B, nor a hotel, it is a real house where I live and where I welcome my guests like old friends with whom I share a love for art, travel and the diversity of cultures.
