Vacation rentals with lake access in Álava

Amazing property, absolutely stunning surroundings, incredible area. The house is ever so rustic and charming, a real gem. We felt so relaxed and at home. Hosts are charming and generous. Neighbour also very helpful. Oh yes, the cat, chickens and free eggs are adorable!!

It is a lovely room: neat, clean, cozy, a nice seat with coffee/ tea and some goodies, nice view. A luxurious bathroom, everything was very clean. Rober is very friendly and the welcome was warm and attentive. Robert recommended us a great restaurant. The entire house is in a nice quiet place. We were only there for 1 night but could have stayed a little longer if we had the time.

A space as AirBnB is intended: a friendly and helpful host, who treats you as a good acquaintance. Gives you the space to do your own thing, but is also ready with tips and directions. Spaces that reflect the personality of the host, modern amenities in a traditional Basque house. We had our own apartment with spacious kitchen, bedroom and shower/toilet, everything clean. There was a second bedroom, for a family with children. We received adequate answers to all our questions. The place invites you to relax, hike or cycle. Many possibilities have been developed in the neighborhood, such as signage and information panels. The quiet access road from the village has unfortunately been modernized, tight asphalt and crossing places, which reduced the romance. Roads in the Basque Country are otherwise pretty good. About 10 minutes drive away is an Iberdrola 50kW fast charger with reasonable prices.

What an amazing find for friends, family or couples. Hosts are amazing and we are very blessed to have some amazing memories here. thank you so much for everything and hope more people come as it is amazing !!!!!

We only spent one night, but everything was very good. We arrived before check-in time and there was no problem leaving our bags. Very comfortable beds and pillows. The kitten Marie is a sweetheart

From start to finish we felt extremely welcome at Bergaretxe's. Beautiful, light and airy apartment with lovely views. Friendly and helpful hosts, way beyond the call of duty. Great walks within close proximity. Thoroughly recommended.

Marian took great care of us, very helpful at all times and recommended wonderful places. The house is very cozy and the area is very quiet. We were right at home.

We had a wonderful time at Phils house. This little house right in the nature is perfect, if you want to spend time in the mountains. Our highlight was the hike with Phil and his lovely donkeys, including a cave exploring. We would come back anytime!

Beautiful views all across the valley. Very well equipped place to stay - literally all options, you can use the kitchen, bbq outside or order a delivery pizza if you can’t be bothered. Lovely little warm swimming pool and big garden to relax or play table tennis. There’s even a football pitch and trampoline for kids. Beautifully decorated inside, lovely high ceilings in our room. Friendly staff - couldn’t have asked for more.
