Vacation rentals with lake access in Álava

Amazing property, absolutely stunning surroundings, incredible area. The house is ever so rustic and charming, a real gem. We felt so relaxed and at home. Hosts are charming and generous. Neighbour also very helpful. Oh yes, the cat, chickens and free eggs are adorable!!

Het is een heerlijke kamer: netjes, schoon, gezellig, een leuk zitje met koffie/ thee en wat lekkers, leuk uitzicht. Een luxe badkamer, alles was heel schoon. Rober is erg vriendelijk en de ontvangst was hartelijk en attent. Robert heeft ons een prima restaurantje aanbevolen. Het gehele huis staat op een mooie rustige plek. We waren er maar 1 nacht maar hadden best wat langer kunnen blijven als we de tijd hadden.

Een ruimte zoals AirBnB bedoeld is: een vriendelijke en behulpzame gastheer, die je als goede kennis behandeld. Geeft je de ruimte om je eigen dingen te doen, maar staat ook klaar met tips en aanwijzingen. Ruimtes waaruit de persoonlijkheid van de gastheer spreekt, moderne voorzieningen in een traditioneel Baskisch huis. We hadden een eigen appartement met ruime leefkeuken, slaapkamer en douche/WC, alles schoon. Er was een tweede slaapkamer, voor een gezin met kinderen. Op al onze vragen kregen we adequaat antwoord. De plek nodigt uit om tot rust te komen, te wandelen of te fietsen. In de buurt zijn veel mogelijkheden ontwikkeld, zoals bewegwijzering en informatie panels. De rustige toegangsweg vanuit het dorpje is helaas gemoderniseerd, strak asfalt en oversteek plaatsen, wat de romantiek verminderde. Wegen in Baskenland zijn overigen vrij goed. Op ongeveer 10 minuten rijden is een Iberdrola 50kW snellader met redelijke prijzen.

Solo hemos pasado una noche pero ha estado todo muy bien. La llegada fue antes de la hora de entrada y no hubo ningun inconveniente para poder dejar las bolsas. Las camas y las almohadas muy comodas. La gatita Marie un encanto

From start to finish we felt extremely welcome at Bergaretxe's. Beautiful, light and airy apartment with lovely views. Friendly and helpful hosts, way beyond the call of duty. Great walks within close proximity. Thoroughly recommended.

We had a wonderful time at Phils house. This little house right in the nature is perfect, if you want to spend time in the mountains. Our highlight was the hike with Phil and his lovely donkeys, including a cave exploring. We would come back anytime!

La casa estaba limpia y la cama era muy cómoda. Además Houda fue 100% flexible con el horario de entrada. Muy recomendable.

Beautiful views all across the valley. Very well equipped place to stay - literally all options, you can use the kitchen, bbq outside or order a delivery pizza if you can’t be bothered. Lovely little warm swimming pool and big garden to relax or play table tennis. There’s even a football pitch and trampoline for kids. Beautifully decorated inside, lovely high ceilings in our room. Friendly staff - couldn’t have asked for more.

Nice location! Warm hospitality! Great house! Very nice nature! We enjoyed our stay!
