Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Alameda County

We used this property for our wedding guests and they enjoyed their stay. We needed a couple of extra air beds for the kids to sleep in same room and Farid wad very accommodating to order one in time for check in.

Richard’s place was great, and he was an exceptional host! Will definitely stay here again the next time my schedule brings me to the Bay Area!

This Airbnb is a very clean and nice place to stay. We immediately felt at home, especially on the first night. The unexpected sight of a wild turkey and some deer added a unique touch to our stay. The amenities provided were generous and of excellent quality. We were delighted with this elegant suite.

Overall, I had a great stay at the cottage! In a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood (great for walking your dog). The cottage itself was spacious - loved the mini-split AC units and the small enclosed front yard. Highly recommend staying here while in the bay!

George's home is beautiful, clean and well maintained. I love the kitchen! I'm a cook; and we cooked our Thanksgiving dinner there. Because of the time of year we did not get to use the backyard, but I'm sure if we stay here again in the warmer months the patio area will be nice. George is a great host. When coming to visit family in the area again, if available we would definitely stay there again.

a pleasant place in Pleasanton! quiet street but close to downtown shops/restaurants/cafes. One feels easily at home here. Would happily stay here over a hotel again in the future.

Jack was a wonderful host from our first communication to our post-stay goodbye. I'm also an Airbnb superhost so I automatically looked for the things that I know are important to guests and Jack just aces every one of them. I booked his house last minute while in the area and taking a couple days to explore San Francisco. The house is close to the rapid public transport and Jack explained just what we needed to do. It was convenient, safe and easy. His house is just delightful and so much better than a hotel. The decor is light and airy and the entire house just feels comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, beds were comfortable, and the patio was a great place to have morning coffee. There was ample private parking and the neighborhood seems safe and quiet. Jack really exemplifies the best of Airbnb hosts and his property is absolutely one that I would recommend.

Beautiful Airbnb! The hosts were very responsive and helpful! Only challenge was the amount of stairs but that was made more challenging by our amount of luggage. Anyone with one to two bags wouldn’t have a problem.

Nice neighborhood. We enjoyed walking in the nearby canyon and had 2 nice meals in the shopping area that was just 2 blocks away.

Dennis & Tiiu's place was perfect for our needs. We stayed for a week while in town visiting our son, who lives only a few minutes away, so it was a perfect location for us. The location was peaceful and quite. The house was cozy and suitable for two people. It was a little smaller than it looked in the pictures but again, it worked for the two of us. The amenities were as described. We would definitely stay again.

Very clean, welcoming place. Alexander’s apartment was very comfortable for 3 adults, with well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Alexander answered my questions super promptly, he is a great host. We highly recommend his place.

Noel’s always responsive and friendly during our stay. The house is exactly the one you see on the pictures. Check-in and check-out are also easy to process. Furthermore, it’s a quiet neighborhood which you can get great rest here. Recommend to stay if it is available!

Great place to stay while visiting the East Bay. Beautiful neighborhood: quiet, safe, and easily walkable to a variety of restaurants/shops. Very convenient for public transportation or driving as well. The apartment is spacious for a couple, much more room than you’d have in a basic hotel room. Loren was proactive in sending check-in instructions and provided a thorough guidebook both for the place itself and the surrounding area. No complaints!

I read all the reviews online about Kimberly's place so I knew it would be nice. The large closet was awesome, comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen. The only problem I had (I knew this ahead of time) was hearing the owner's kids above us. Most of the time, no problem and never at odd times. I did feel the parents were as courteous as possible for 2 small kids but it was hard to take a nap a couple of times. I am used to a single home so this may play into it. I still recommend their place but keep in mind, occasionally, you hear people upstairs as also written in other reviews.

The accommodations were nice and the area was quiet. It was a short walk to shops, restaurants, a movie theater and a 5 minute drive to a supermarket. It was a short walk to the lake which had a circumferential walking path. We particularly liked the locked parking garage. We will definitely come back.

We've been dealing with a home construction project for nearly a year and needed a place to stay for the last three week sprint. Although this wasn't a vacation, per se, it was still great to stay local in such a nice location. Akeel and Lena were very helpful, including proactively pointing out the street sweeping days so that we wouldn't get ticketed. The place was great to stay in and was a nice, peaceful oasis from construction madness, at least for a little while.
