Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Alameda County

Sal was a wonderful person and his place had everything we needed. We just needed somewhere simple to just stay and pretty cozy. Love the hospitality and would stay here again!

We very much enjoyed staying at Ann's Casabella. It is in a fun part of town (Temescal) and walking distance from the Bart station. We felt safe overall and wish we could have stayed longer. Ann was kind enough to give us an orientation when we first arrived, giving us tips about the property that we wouldn't have known on our own. Ann has specific instructions for check-in, just follow them and you'll be fine! The kitchen was fully stocked, and the internet was fast and reliable- perfect for my husband who worked from home during our stay. Our unit was cozy, with a nice seating area out front and a large tree by the sidewalk that provided privacy from the street. Ann supplied us with everything we needed and gave us space. She was also kind enough to share one of the many books she's written with me. Thankyou, Ann, for a lovely stay!

Had a short assignment at a job site 1/2 mile from apartment which made my life easy. Abdul works in Fremont so we both were coming and going with different schedules. He cooks and I cook a little and we never had any issues with sharing kitchen which was well stocked with utensils. I have a hearing problem but never had any communication issues. He has many friends at the complex and everyone looks out for each other. There were no noise issues or unsafe feelings. Alameda is a great town with many restaurants and lots to do if you are vacationing. I have enjoyed staying at many Airbnb locations in US and Japan and meeting a wide range of interesting people.

Great stay. Always go back whenever I'm in the Bay area.

Ellie's place is extremely conveniently located near MacArthur BART, and steps from all the good food and nightlife along Telegraph in Temescal. A perfect place to spend a night or two after coming in from the airport -- the train will take you right there. The only downside is that the building does not have very good noise insulation, and is close to the highway and train tracks. Light sleepers take note -- but I think this place was a great deal!

Fabulous, quiet and affordable place to hang out while visiting friends or family in the East Bay. They love dogs, too. I have stayed more times than I can remember and will keep coming back.

A wonderful bed! Very nicely located. John was very accommodating to my schedule, and there was a bike available!!!

Allison's place is A+ what a gem I found to stay at while visiting the east bay. The rolling green hills in February and March are an artists dream. The spectacular view of the bay and far distant City of San Francisco invites you to take the Bart or drive over The Bay Bridge to have a date like the songs says with "The City by The Bay". Her accommodations are perfect for one who needs some space with a room to sleep and the other to lounge and watch a movie with some popcorn. with a full bathroom in between. but you will enjoy using her beautiful sheek kitchen and be careful to stay focus of your cooking and not get distracted with the view of the bay. All in all Allison's place is 5 stars in my book.

The house is located in a very quite neighborhood and walking distance to BART station if you want to use public transport to San Francisco, SFO airport or Oakland airport etc. It is also on walking distance to Lake Merrit. In lake Merrit, many residents of Oakland enjoy walking around the lake. Gloria and Henry were the best hosts. I will recommend to friends and family to stay in their home. I will stay in my future trip to bay area.

We enjoyed our stay at Joanie house .We had such a great time during visit to Stanford for our son surgery ! Great location ,nice neighborhood.The house was spotless, full of amenities that were thought out perfectly! the backyard was the amazing bonus with pleasantly surprised peaceful relaxing garden with fruit trees and beautiful flowers ! The host Joanie was kind helpful and responsive .We can't wait to go back. House is just as described and even better .Everything was clean with the two master bedrooms with modern clean bathrooms and showers not to mention the good shower water pressure ! I thank the host Joanie for sharing her house with us with this high quality of life experience!

John and Sydney were great hosts, friendly but unobtrusive, and very accommodating. I was busy during my eleven-day stay, so didn't spend a whole lot of time in the house, but my room was cozy and had great light during the day. I worked remotely from their home a few days, and the work space in the room was comfortable. If you plan to spend time in Berkeley, San Francisco, or elsewhere in the region, the freeway is easily accessible, and there are multiple public transportation options. All in all, I had a pleasant stay in their home and was happy with my choice to book with them.

The house was clean and had great sitting areas including the private backyard. The location was walking distance to public transport and Piedmont Ave where there were charming shops and restaurants. There was a nice variety of cuisines and lots of coffee shops. Araxi was a great host with great instructions, responsive, and super friendly and helpful. At the same time, she respected our privacy.
