Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Ajax

If you are going to stay anywhere, this is the place to stay. Stephen and his wife Dorette are great hosts. They truly care about their guests. My mother in law has been staying there and ended up in hospital. Stephen called ambulance for me and drove to the house while I was headed there to meet the ambulance. The entire time she was in hospital, they were asking about her. She is back there now for another week (air bnb) and Dorette is messaging me to let me know that they salted stairs but that it could be slippery so if mother in law was going out, to be careful. The unit is very clean and comfortable and you aren't lacking for anything! 5 plus stars for the hosts!

I was so thankful to find Shikha's place to stay on my recent visit to Ajax. I have friends in Ajax, but their place is small and I didn't want to impose on them. Also, I had plans to go to the Thermea Spa in Whitby, so I wanted a place that was convenient from that location as well. Shikha was very responsive before checkin. She provided all the details, and I was pleased to be able to meet her and her family when I arrived. They were super friendly and accommodating. The space is exactly as described. It is a small basement apartment with the essentials. The furinture and bed were comfortable, the small kitchette space was workable for a short trip. The temperature was comfortable even for a basement space, but a heater is provided if you need it. The bonus for me was the neighborhood with access to the walking/bike trail nearby. I was able to go for a stroll one evening on my stay and I felt safe and comfortable in this neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Great place. Great location. Quiet neighbourhood. Easy access to everything we needed. Everything about this apartment met our needs. The backyard patio set was a nice feature and we enjoyed having meals outside.

My family (with 2 teenagers) felt right at home during our stay at Indiran’s. The large living room is a great space for a family. We were in Ajax to visit family and having our own space was a great thing so as to allow our kids on spring break to have their own space to study. The comfy chairs in the living space are a little worn but was not an issue for us as well. We were well able to relax after family gatherings.

Zoka's place felt like a dream. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, making it the perfect escape from the demands of adult life-a space where you could simply be, fall in love, and feel alive. It was private, cozy, and filled with charm. And Zoka herself was a truly wonderful person to meet—warm, welcoming, and unforgettable.

My partner and I just stayed here for 1.5 months. The place was very clean and had everything we needed, even for such an extended stay. The owners are very respectful, very responsive, and made our stay extremely comfortable. They have a good balance of promplty being there when you need anything, and also allowing you space and comfort. I would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area and need a nice quiet place to stay! :)

Our family had a great stay at Jianzhong's listing! The house was easy to find, lots of space to park for two SUV's and super close to the Zoo! The house was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed for a stay. It was very spacious and comfortable for 3 kids under 4 years old to play and burn energy.

I stayed at Vilija’s place yesterday and truly cannot say enough wonderful things about her. She is by far the best host I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. From the moment I made the booking, she responded so quickly and was always there if we needed anything. Her kindness, politeness, and genuine care made us feel completely at home. The place was so clean, cozy, and welcoming. It had such a lovely atmosphere and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Vilija even took the time to thank us for tidying the room, which was so thoughtful and appreciated. She is truly a special person and I will definitely be returning to stay at her place again. If you are considering booking with her, do not think twice. You will be so glad you did.

My mother and I had a wonderful stay at Irfan's place. It was clean, quiet, and exactly as described, with all necessary amenities for short or long-term visits. Irfan was a fantastic host—welcoming, respectful, and responsive. He provided clear check-in instructions, allowed early check-in, and offered late check-out. He frequently checked in to ensure our comfort. The neighborhood was safe and peaceful, located in a developing area of Whitby. Despite some construction affecting sidewalks, it was walkable with a park 10 minutes away. The nearest bus stop was a 12-minute walk and served by multiple routes. Shops, restaurants, groceries, and banks were a short drive by car/Uber or bus ride away; walking to these places would not be preferable as it may take over 55 minutes. Public transport might require two buses in some cases, taking 25-30 minutes. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Thank you, Irfan, for being a great host and providing a pleasant experience.

This place was so nice to stay at. It’s super worth the money I paid. The apartment has everything you need and it’s really comfortable too. It’s close to grocery stores and there are walkable restaurants downstairs also. The hosts were also very helpful! I would 100% consider staying here again.

We had a great stay at Thomas' place. He met us at check in, showed us the building, parking and any details we needed to know. He was very responsive, provided early check in, and coordinated parking spots for both our vehicles. The place was very clean and quiet. We would definitely stay again!

Very nice condo and pictures are accurate. Cato and Annie are very responsive and accommodating. Common area in the condo is lovely too - beautiful outdoor space and gym facilities.

Jun is an amazing host and very kind. The place is actually a lot bigger than the pictures show. The unit is a corner unit and has extremely tall windows and ceiling. Would recommend to anyone who’s looking for a very clean and quiet place to stay in.

Nice stay in this one-bedroom unit in Richmond Hill. The location is great in Richmond Hill, with easy access to stores just a few minutes’ walk away. It was a comfortable and convenient stay, and I would recommend it to others visiting the area.
