Family-friendly vacation rentals in Aix-en-Provence

The villa was one of the top airbnbs we have ever stayed - evens better than on photos. Peaceful but just 10 mins by drive from the city. Outdoor area including pool and outdoor kitchen is simply lovely. Host are super helpful and responsive. We definitely try to come back one day!

We had a wonderful 11 days at this house. It looks exactly like the pictures, has everything you need, especially if you travel with kids. The trampoline and the children’s books and some toys in the house were a big plus. Communication was incredibly smooth, Gary and the team would reply right away to our messages. They were very flexible in terms of check in and even let us check out at 4pm since we had a late flight. It rained the whole time we were there and we still found it conveniently located just 20 min from Aix-en-Provence which made our stay super enjoyable. Eguilles is very small but charming. Would strongly recommend staying here, it was a wonderful experience!

We thank Fabrice for his welcome, kindness and flexibility. We had a great time with the family in this farmhouse, the setting is nice and peaceful. The accommodation is spacious, clean and functional. The bedding is comfortable. We enjoyed our meals outside by the pool. Everything was perfect! Another big thank you to Fabrice, you can go there without a second thought!

location is excellent, many outdoor activities like swimming, petanque, hiking (during which we met many friendky locals and their dogs), close to nature, we encountered so much wildlife , there is a chevrier and the famous Rove goats and the AOC cheese in the neighborhood. If you love nature and isolation from the noise of the city, this is the place for you. Yet it is an easy drive to the cultural and gastronomic fearures of Provence.

The house is beautifully situated in nature with great views of Lacoste. We felt very comfortable with the large family. The house is in great condition and very nice and tastefully decorated. Everything you need is available in the kitchen, etc. Julien is very helpful and always in touch. we'll be back for sure!

We had a lovely stay with our family with 3 young children at Magali's. The house is very spacious and also the shaded veranda is lovely on hot days. The surroundings are quiet with stunning mountain views. Le Colorado de provence and the Saturday market of Apt are recommended to visit and close by. The pool is fantastic and very suitable for the play of young children. Magali is friendly and gave us good tips. Thank you Magali!

Anne and her husband Jean-Luc were the best hosts we've ever experienced at an Airbnb. Always attentive, friendly and warm! The outdoor area is a holiday paradise and very lovingly furnished! For us, it was very convenient, as my parents had rented the other accommodation from Anne. So we had our own area, and we could share the outdoor area to the fullest. We will be back!

We had a great week. Audrey is very welcoming, bubbly, and reachable at any time if needed. Regarding the apartment, I'm trying to find something negative but I don't see anything. It is extremely clean, it smells good when you come in, storage galore (which is rare), an ideal size for a couple or even 3 people and of course a view of the beautiful port accessible in 2 minutes on foot. In short, to be repeated as soon as possible.

Fabulous experience at Cécile and Didier's! In addition to being very spacious, the accommodation is really atypical, its vaults and stones give it a crazy charm (and a pleasant freshness!). It is carefully decorated, very functional, very clean and has everything you need. The bathroom opening onto the bedroom is very nice :) We loved our stay in Vauvenargues: the village is really very cute too! We'll go back to Cécile and Didier's without a second thought.

We are first time visitors to Cassis and were not sure of where to stay, we did not have a car and even if we did this was the perfect location, Close to everything, great being abe to look back at the port and see whats going on, yes it can be nosiy, but if you want quiet stay in the countryside. We felt right at home and quickly the Appt become ours to enjoy, The cooking facilities and equipment was top class and we had everything and more then we needed. Everything is in walking distance and all we needed we could get from the Market ( a Must do) and the local convenience stores had everthing we wanted, sure the supermarket which is a drive away would be cheaper, but really not that big a saving You get a complete feeling for the town from here and it was a week that we throughly enjoyed and would stay again Chonyucha was so helpful with tips and ideas and there booklet on recommendations was excellent, Julia was lovely and meet us on arrival and was vert helpful as well

Fantastic stay in the heart of St Remy! The apartment is gorgeous and has everything for a perfect holiday - walkable location in the village center, wonderfully artistic and comfortable decor, calm and peaceful atmosphere, fully equipped large kitchen, spacious bedrooms and a lovely rooftop terrace. Jean-Luc and Perrine are the most friendly, charming and gracious hosts. They provided excellent support and we really appreciated their restaurant recommendations and getting to know them...and their gallery downstairs is beautiful. Merveilleux!

Arnaud is an amazing host, and his place is lovely and spacious. It is extremely comfortable, and you can't beat it for location. Right in the middle of the historic part of the city, surrounded by restaurants and bars but very quiet, private, and has its own outdoor space. Arnaud was very accommodating about an early check in, met us personally and gave us great recommendations and advice, and was available via text within ten minutes. We highly recommend his place!

Peaceful getaway. Host is very friendly, flexible and responsive. Enjoyed the pool after a warm day sightseeing, playing pétanque under the lights and sleeping in the quiet countryside. It’s easy to miss the entrance but you’ll soon find yourself inside a beautiful property when the gates open. We would definitely return if visiting the area in the future.

We had a great stay. Perfect location in centre of Aix. Quiet apartment, clean, comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen. Parking is a little tricky if you are driving.

The villa is in an excellent location- walkable to fabulous restaurants, museums and shopping….but in a quiet hideaway space. It has a wonderful outdoor area that we used nightly for an evening aperitif and cheese! Daniel and his wife are such lovely hosts. They live next door and are gracious and delightful. The villa is so lovely from the outside to the inside. The kitchen and bathrooms have all been updated; and the kitchen is well stocked. The beds are quite comfortable. A very enjoyable stay! Highly recommended.

Everything is fine. Landlords friendly, nice and likeable, reachable at short notice, interested. Everything uncomplicated. We can recommend this small accommodation with a wonderful terrace and beautiful view and will be happy to come back.

We are so pleased with our stay at Gisous cottage. She was kind, helpful, gave us many wonderful recommendations for restaurants, places to visit, and even pharmacy as we had needs. This cottage was peaceful, and a place we will definitely return to and stay even longer. Provence is a gift to the eyes, heart and restful for the soul. What a magnificent place to call home base, Even for a week.

What a charming and authentic Provençal stay! Gerard was very welcoming and even provided us with farm fresh eggs, oranges to make fresh pressed juice in the mornings. The vineyards and olive trees were a beautiful site to wake up to each morning. We enjoyed walking into the village for dinner. We strongly recommend this amazing place.

From the time the booking was confirmed Aurelie was nothing but accommodating and helpful. She sent me a very detailed lists of places to eat and drink. She was very flexible with our check in and check out time even at the last minute which was greatly appreciated. Aureile's instructions on how to get to the property was very detailed and easy to follow.

Nathalie and her husband were extremely responsive when there was a problem with the refrigerator and our lack of knowledge of the tv. The refrigerator was replaced the next day and her husband came over at night to help with the tv. The apartment was right next to the parking garage and walkable to restaurants and sights.

Lovely house in a great, private location in Provence. Extremely well connected to Aix TGV station, Marseille airport, and various quaint villages, as well as Aix en Provence town centre. Cécile is a great host & lovely person - very welcoming & generous. The house has everything needed - big & pristine swimming pool, pétanque, table tennis, beautiful landscaped garden, bbq, well equipped kitchen, A/C, and so on. I’d recommend this house very highly indeed. Thanks Cécile!
