Our house is on a hill overlooking the town, with gorgeous views, and the high street is a 10/15 minute walk away.

My partner and I recently stayed in the Totnes area and we stayed at this Air Bnb. Firstly, I'd like to stay a huge thank you to Paul the owner - he was extremely proactive and helpful with making sure we had the best time, helping me organise parking in the local area and ensuring we had as much flexibility as possible during our stay. The flat is centrally located at the foot of the high street with great access. The inside of the flat was pristine with very modern amenities. My partner said that the rain shower was one of the best showers she's had! Paul provided us with milk, orange juice, Nespresso coffee, fruit, cereal and other things at no extra charge to us which was a really nice touch. And if you need lots of plug sockets look no further there must be about 15-20 sockets!! Thank you Paul for the wonderful stay, and we will be back for sure. Jay

We were away for the weekend for a friend’s birthday and this was perfect for our stay. Very clean and tidy. Quiet location and within walking distance to the River Shack. Perfect! The beds were very comfortable and the linen fresh and spotlessly clean. We didn’t really use the kitchen but it appeared to have everything you needed. Julie met us when we arrived. Overall a great stay.

A serene waterway is lined with boats at moorings, reflecting the lush greenery of the hills beyond. The banks are dotted with trees and quaint buildings, contributing to a peaceful riverside scene under a clear blue sky.

Lovely stay at Becky’s place while I was in area for work. Becky and her husband were really welcoming and a pleasure to chat with when our paths crossed. The flat was spotless, and recently renovated so felt lovely and new. The kitchen was well equipped with all the bits and pieces you’d need for cooking while away from home, and Becky left some foodie treats out too, which was lovely. Would love to stay again if in the area. Thank you!

We had a great stay. The accommodation was well equipped, comfortable, quiet, clean and suited our needs perfectly. Stoke Gabriel is a lovely village with stunning views. We visited The Shack, for food and drinks which was fantastic - delicious food and great service. We also went to a couple of local national trust sites locally that were wonderful. I would definitely recommend and hope to visit again.

We had a fabulous stay this week in the Apple hut! Loved everything about it. The views are lovely and the hot tub makes it extra special. Andrew and Elizabeth are great hosts, made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be back again.

My wife and I had a great stay with our two daughters for a week over 1/2 term. The location is spectacular, on a secluded part of the Dart estuary. There is a great restaurant by the house that does a lovely breakfast and tasty evening meals. The area is lively during the day with people coming to eat and with families crabbing on the tidal pool but it is super quiet and peaceful in the mornings and evenings when the restaurant closes. There is lots for kids to do in the town, crabbing was a favourite but you can go kayaking from right outside the door and we saw a lot of groups of adults and kids having sailing lessons on the main estuary. Paddling boarding is popular in the area and you could get out at almost anytime of day, including on the tidal pool if the main estuary was very low. All in, the town is a real hidden gem and Chris’s house is in a prime location to make the most of it.
