Stube of the gateway - Martinsburg Castle

Welcome to the Middle Ages! Martinsburg is one of the few never destroyed castles of the Middle Rhine Valley, where the building fabric is actually centuries old. We have carefully renovated the parlor of the gatekeeper, about 50 m2, and approached today's needs with shower and toilet. However, you have to climb 45 steps before you can settle down comfortably. In good weather you can also linger in the flower corner in the castle courtyard or explore the castle park on the Rhine.

The "Alte Schmiede" in the charming Chateau Lichter offers you an exceptional ambiance on 60 m². Time for togetherness: In the luxurious wellness bathroom, which impressively sets the historical elements of bygone times, look at the fireplace light completely relaxed from the jacuzzi. In unserem persönlich geführten Boutiquehotel mit insgesamt nur zehn Zimmern seid Ihr wie bei Freunden zu Hause. Tagsüber könnt ihr eine Wanderung durch die Weinberge und Wälder machen und abends bei einem Gläschen Wein in unserem großen Innenhof entspannen.

East wing in the winery & castle F. v. Landenberg

Our wine castle Freiherr von Landenberg is a winery from the Middle Ages on even older foundations. Within these historic walls we offer three units. The east wing with the lovely bay window consists of an exceptionally spacious bedroom with a 2x2 m box spring bed and a sofa bed. Opposite is a bathroom with an English bath, walk-in shower and toilet. In addition, there is 1 double room, also with box spring bed and an ensuite bathroom (shower+toilet).
