Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Agios Nikolaos

Thanks for the wonderful stay. We felt right at home. The neighbors also welcomed us in a very friendly way. The apartment is perfectly located and has everything you need. In the morning, we could enjoy our coffee right by the sea, which is just across the street. The nearest larger city is within walking distance. The tavern next door is also very tasty and recommended. Likewise, the small bar opposite, great atmosphere right on the sea. Communication with Katerina was very good. Quick and helpful response. We thank you for a great time and will be happy to come back.

We had the best time staying at the apartment. We were two adults and a child and it was perfect for us. Everything was exactly as in the pictures and the apartment is even bigger than I expected. Especially the beautiful patio. The small kitchen is well stocked and we had everything we needed. One can hear the road, so just bring your earplugs if you think it may bother you. There are mosquitoes nets and shades/curtains on all the windows which allowed us to keep them open at nights and sleep longer in the mornings. Other than the apartment itself, Pinelopi is the best host I have ever met on Airbnb. She took care of everything we needed, even before we asked. We felt right at home with her and we're very sad when it was time to go. We will always be happy to come and stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this accommodation! The highlight was definitely the beautiful terrace with its stunning sea view – the perfect spot to start or end the day. The location is also excellent, with many lovely restaurants within walking distance, which we truly appreciated. It was also a great base for exploring the area by car. The designated parking spot is about 200–300 meters away – during our stay, there was always something available, so it worked out just fine. All in all, a wonderful place that we would happily recommend!

The place was so much better than we expected! So beautiful, peaceful and well decorated. I wish we could have stayed a bit longer!

Enjoyed my stay at Petros residence. Very private and peaceful location. The scenery is beautiful. I was working majority of the time while here but the WiFi was great, had peace and quiet, enjoyed amazing hikes in the Istro area and beach every morning. The room is clean, way more spacious than the pics even seem, had amenities that you need and overall comfortable. Close to some restaurants and markets. Definitely recommend.

We enjoyed our accommodation very much during these few days! The accommodation is clean, functional, very well-equipped and the host is very responsive. What can I say about the two beautiful exteriors! The large roof terrace for resting in the shade in complete privacy with sea views. The small terrace in front of the house is incredible, with your feet in the water. The house is in a very good location, a few meters from the city center and the bar next door is a real asset for having a drink or a meal from our own terrace. A little gem just like the city of Mochlos.

This property is on the top of our list of all of the Super-host level properties we’ve been at whether Air B&B or any other platform. Premium quality and high marks for design aesthetics promoting maximum relaxation inside or in the yard with breathtaking views all day long and spectacular sunsets. All meals at the property must be had out doors! It was a perfect retreat after long days of sightseeing. We would rent it again in a heartbeat and will recommend it to family. John & Autumn

Had an absolutely beautiful stay at this apartment. The location is absolutely perfect for a relaxing get away. The property is really well equipped and has everything you could need. Maria was super friendly, responsive and communicated really well throughout our visit. We visited just before the main season and Mochlos was quiet and sleepy, just waking up. You'll need a car if you want to explore the island from here. Cannot recommend this property enough - we just had the most lovely time.

The host was very friendly and kind. He gave clear instructions and showed understanding when we asked to leave the room a little later!! He helped us with everything we needed.

Beautiful living room, breathtaking views. Very welcoming and lovely hosts. The accommodation is clean, matches the photos. I recommend this rental! The restaurant down Gefsis street is EXCELLENT. I would highly recommend it. A vehicle is required to access the accommodation. A place I'd keep!

Very nice accommodation! The interior of the house was very cozy and very cool for the heat of the season. The yard is very boho and everything you need for relaxing with friends in a very quiet neighborhood and if you miss something you can walk 20-30m just across the street where there is a Supermarket (Sklavenitis). Although the house already had everything it needed in terms of essentials. We did not have time to enjoy all the comforts of the house as we only stayed 4 nights and the only thing that made it difficult for us was the otherwise very nice bed on the floor due to the fact that my wife was pregnant. We would definitely choose the accommodation again for family vacations in the future!

I really liked the place and the hosts of Bella Vista. The hosts, especially Evi, have their hearts in the right place and have tried to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. They were always available and gave me tips for things to do and places to eat. All Bella Vista accommodations are unique and a reflection of the culture of Crete. I found my place especially breathtaking. The room was very nicely decorated and I had incredible panoramic views of the city and sea. I highly recommend the place and especially the hosts. You feel comfortable right from the start.

The villa is absolutely beautiful, just like the pictures on the website. We absolutely loved our stay here! Although there were other guests at the resort, we didn't see them at all, so it felt like we were the only people there. The facilities, including the pool, sun beds both in and out of the pool, which were incredible! Stefani showing us around when we first got there and explained that cleaning service was included, which we didn't expect. This made our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. The attention to detail made our stay exceptional. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will definitely recommend the villa to our friends and family. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

We were welcomed by Sofia's mom and dad. Despite the language barrier, the welcome was warm. They answered our questions without any problems. We also had fruit from their garden. This is a strategic point for visiting the east of the island (Agios Nikolaos, Sitia, Lerapetra, Lassithi Plateau). We recommend visiting the Kafenion just below the cottage. We are in the life of the village and the hosts are adorable... authentic!! Small downside on one of the rooms which is windowless and not separated from the toilet. But for a week we're adapting. Don't hesitate to discover this place

I had the best time at George’s Apartment. The view is incredible, the little balcony very refreshing and the rooms absolutely convenient. I have loved the Meze Restaurant around the corner which is called The Hope and had the best time there.

I'm joining all the previous comments: the apartment is spacious, clean, and comfortable in all aspects (good bedding, big shower, enough equipment in the kitchen, good WiFi, etc ), and Nikos' parents were lovely people who made me feel.welcome. The apartment is very central, and super close to a very nice little beach. It can be a bit noisy during the day because you're in the city center, with narrow and steep streets, but at night it was dead quiet. Parking can be challenging for the same reasons, but I've always found a spot eventually.

The place was sunny, clean, had everything we needed, lots of light and fresh air. The stay was very comfy and in a lovely location, within driving distance to gorgeous beaches and nice restaurants. Thank you!

Lovely apartment, very well equipped in a great location. Antonia our host was brilliant and responded immediately to questions we had. Welcome gift of food/drink was very much appreciated.

We had a great stay at Matina’s place. It’s very comfortable and spacious. We loved the location, with some restaurants, small beach and our favourite Kimzu Sea Lounge just a couple of minutes walk away. For those that like a bit of exercise you can use the running track which is also very close. It’s also only about 10 minutes walk to the town and the lake. Check in and check out was very easy and the host was always available for any questions. Would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

An absolutely amazing spot in Agios Nikolaos! A spectacular balcony to relax on and take in the Mediterranean views. (Also came in handy to dry my clothes - drying rack provided - after using the washing machine.) Totally walkable to all bakeries, restaurants, shops and “the Lake.” A two minute walk from a larger grocery store which was clutch for grabbing food and some beer & wine for the balcony. A five minute walk to a local swimming dock & beach club. Emma & her mother were great hostesses! Her mother checked me into apartment and showed me all the ins & outs of the space. A complimentary bottle of wine & homemade raki greeted you in the perfect size kitchen. Even flowering vines fragrantly welcomed you home after dinner. Might be my favorite Airbnb of all time! Just a wonderful stay…and for an incredible price! Value at its best. Would live there if I could.

I was there alone for 1 week. I didn't find the entrance right away because I was somehow looking for a sign with the name. But it is as described No. 10 and I was also helped immediately by chat. At the top of the 4th floor, the apartment is nicely decorated and very cozy. Small but nice. Very cozy bed. View of the beach and coast. Loved it. Everything a person needs. Had a very great vacation, in a beautiful place with very friendly people. Thank you for everything, I will gladly recommend it.

we were so impressed with the apartment, having family living in the area it gave us a base for whilst visiting and was so nice we have already rebooked for our return visit later this year
