Waterfront vacation rentals in Agios Nikolaos

The Penthouse apartment was just as described and as the pictures showed. Very modern and clean, and the host and his team were very responsive during the stay. Would definitely stay again, the location is perfect for walking to the beach, restaurants and mini markets, you have everything you need on your doorstep with no need to drive anywhere unless you want to. The only thing missing was mirror’s in the bedrooms for drying hair which would be a really helpful addition. There are mirrors in the bathrooms, but not really suitable for hair drying once the bathroom is all steamed up from a shower. That being said, it would not stop me from returning.

Giorgio’s place was beautiful and well maintained. He was always very responsive (Ben when we locked ourselves out) and gave us recommendations for the local super market and an AMAZING place for dinner. The home was very comfortable with a beautiful sea view and had everything we needed.

The apartment is ideally located in a quiet area facing the saltworks. Well-equipped, dishes, new washing machine, fridge, flat screen... it is in the middle of two other apartments. The first being rented by an extremely welcoming and helpful resident. Vasilis offered us homemade bread, family honey, lent us his snorkeling equipment and advised us on good local tips. Elsa is also extremely responsive, understanding, pleasant and friendly. It is possible to swim on a beautiful beach of large pebbles a 5-minute walk away (Paradisio Beach) or further on the peninsula. A big favorite for Kolokitah beach, crystal clear water, a shaded beach accessible by car or 30 minutes walk. We came at the end of October, a lot of restaurants were starting to close like the Paradisio Tavern nearby. The period is ideal with children as is the small closed courtyard in front of the apartment. You just have to watch out for the few steps and cacti.

My husband and I spent a lovely week at Asteri Home. The house was exactly as expected and just what we wanted for our week in Crete. The kitchen was well-equipped and allowed us to make breakfasts and a some dinners at home. The main double bedroom was big enough and comfortable. The bathroom is a bit dark and the shower is quite small, but we made do. The most amazing part of the house is the huge garden overlooking the sea that has 4 sun loungers, 2 outdoor tables for dining, a BBQ and a dart board. We spent a lot of time sitting at the end of the garden enjoying the view. Véronique and Yiannis are amazing hosts. They were so helpful right from the start - arranging transport from the airport, a rental car, offering suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. Kokkini Hani is quieter than other more touristy parts of Crete we visited. We found wonderful Greek restaurants with fresh seafood everyday. The supermarket and shops are all in walking distance. A lovely place!

A truly fantastic place to stay. Exceptionally well stocked apartment with absolutely everything you would need for a long or short stay. Close to lots of restaurants, but well stocked kitchen if you prefer to cook. Beautiful terrace for dining, both undercover and outside. Host Viky is charming and friendly and could not be more helpful. We hope to return another time.

This is really a gorgeous apartment. Recently built, very high quality construction, beautiful contemporary style and detailing, nicely furnished and decorated. Location is right on the sea wall (I think our balcony was about 20 feet horizontally and 20' vertically from ocean water!). Stephani met us upon arrival and got us settled in. She also was great with advice on nearby restaurants and grocery stores. We really enjoyed our time there.

Modern construction and large, quiet with good aircon . Janika helpful in every way.

We had a great stay. The co-Host Rea was super responsive and the views were great as you can see in the pictures. The flat was clean and has a spaciuos balcony. On premises parking was not possible, but there are parking possibilities next to the road. The place is quite remote, no supermarkets or restaurants nearby, a car is needed. All in all we can recomment to stay here!

We felt very comfortable in Eftychia's apartment! It looks exactly like the pictures and was very clean and tidy. It is right on the sea and in a quiet neighborhood; often we were the only people on the beach. We would definitely recommend the place!

We had a wonderful and relaxing vacation in Dimitri's apartment. The apartment is fantastically beautiful and tastefully decorated, with high-quality furniture and nothing is really missing. The terrace has a unique beautiful view of the sea and we spent many beautiful hours there. Dimitris is super friendly, always available and with helpful tips for excursions, restaurants, etc. he helped us a lot. He also arranged the transfer from the airport for us and it worked out just fine. The location of the apartment is also perfect. Supermarket and restaurants are within walking distance and the bus station is just across the street. We highly recommend the apartment, for us the most beautiful so far and we will be happy to think back to the time and come back soon.

We had a great time at Pinelopi's relaxing apartment by the beach! She gave us lots of great suggestions of places to visit and was very kinda and friendly. There are lots of great beaches nearby. We enjoyed meeting Toby the dog and having Sissi the cat hang out with us each morning. thank you again!

We stayed in Tertsa for a week and will definitely come back! The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures and is completely sufficient for two people. Direct beach access and certainly an insider tip if you want to avoid large crowds. A visit to Mirtos is recommended. In addition, you have many opportunities to park the car. The minimarket has everything you need for everyday needs. Annali and her husband were very attentive and always easily accessible. See you again :)

This was our favourite stay of the trip. The place is idyllic, with a private swimming area only a few steps away. The house is decorated tastefully and gives a really nice indoor-outdoor feeling with the large patio and sliding doors. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked with everything you might need to cook, including well-sharpened knives! Manolis brought us some fresh vegetables from the farm, which were delicious. Everything about the place is thoughtful and we loved our stay there. It is ideal for a trip where you want to spend a lot of time relaxing at the house and hanging out, it is so nice we barely wanted to leave!

Very friendly host and a nice welcome including wine and snacks. Apartment directly at the beach and no tourists in the area. In addition, the apartment was very clean and Maria provided us new sheets and towels during our stay. Highly recommended.

Wow! We went to a bachelorette party 4 girls and it was simply amazing! George was long before the trip spoke to me on whatsapp and was available for all my questions. Booked us a taxi from the airport that arrived just on time and everything was very clear through whatsapp. Also at the entrance to the property, George received us, took luggage ( until check-in) and kept them in a secure room. The property is stunning and just right,cozy, clean, quiet neighborhood and right next to all the fun - exactly five minutes walking distance. Buy us some nibbles that were waiting for us in the room, was always available for questions and recommendations for us and even made me really good and took me a ride to the massage he had booked for me in advance in the area. Really was just perfect. I really recommend to anyone who wants to clear their minds and get reliable and professional service above and beyond.

Beautiful spacious apartment with great modern design and with a unique sea view from the balcony (sea only about 20 meters away). Everything you need. The landlord is extremely friendly and always available. We felt very comfortable. There are lots of good restaurants in the area, all within walking distance. The free parking by the sea was also perfect. From there, you only need 5 minutes to the apartment. The beautiful bar near the bedrooms was always well attended and accordingly it was loud there until late at night. It's a matter of taste, but the beds were too hard for us. Otherwise, absolutely recommended! We felt very comfortable and always had a cozy breakfast on the balcony.

Amazing place. Very private and quiet. Location is also great, lots of restaurants, bars and coffee shops to walk to. If I have the chance will definitely come back. Recommend it!

The apartment is a gem in Ierapetra. Lovingly furnished, as good as new, extremely clean, and equipped with absolutely everything you need. The sea is 50 meters across the street; at night, you can hear the waves from your bed. Niko is a wonderful host who always responds promptly and is happy to give tips. Highly recommended if you're planning to visit the eastern part of Crete.

We had a great night at Dafni's place which is very welcoming. The small private terrace with sea view for breakfast or aperitif is exceptional! Beautiful Voulisma Beach is within walking distance from the bedroom. If time had allowed us, we would have spent more time at Dafni's place. We can wholeheartedly recommend this listing! An absolutely amazing spot in Agios Nikolaos! A spectacular balcony to relax on and take in the Mediterranean views. (Also came in handy to dry my clothes - drying rack provided - after using the washing machine.) Totally walkable to all bakeries, restaurants, shops and “the Lake.” A two minute walk from a larger grocery store which was clutch for grabbing food and some beer & wine for the balcony. A five minute walk to a local swimming dock & beach club. Emma & her mother were great hostesses! Her mother checked me into apartment and showed me all the ins & outs of the space. A complimentary bottle of wine & homemade raki greeted you in the perfect size kitchen. Even flowering vines fragrantly welcomed you home after dinner. Might be my favorite Airbnb of all time! Just a wonderful stay…and for an incredible price! Value at its best. Would live there if I could.

We had a really great stay at Hersonissos. The apartment was in a perfect position in the town and the host was extremely helpful and friendly. The only issue for me was having mobility issues the stairs were hard work, but I knew that was going to be the case and it was not misrepresented at all. So just be wary if you’re the same, but being extra careful to get up to the top sundeck was definitely worth it for the views - thank you!
