We had such a lovely time! The place was incredibly clean and tidy, which made settling in so easy. We especially loved how peaceful and secluded it felt — the quiet surroundings were exactly what we needed to unwind. It was cosy and comfortable, just the way we enjoy our getaways. This spot is a perfect winter staycation, and we’d definitely book again!

An absolutely incredible spot, the sunrise’s are something truly special. You feel like you are part of the mountain in this beautiful and charming cottage. Surrounded by nature with no one else around it’s a completely private getaway. Star gazing from the hot-tub is a must. We loved every second and will definitely be back. Will and Franziska have a lovely accommodation and we’re always eager to help with recommendations or problems. After a long day exploring Cape Town there is nothing better than relaxing in the sauna and enjoy the stunning view from the patio.

We wanted to get away from absolutely anything to do with the city life and that’s exactly what we got. Our dogs went with and had the best time and we didn’t have to worry about vehicles or leaving a door open. Thank you.. we got the break we needed as a family.

All as described. Very nice place with the possibility to grill, play billiards or lie in the hot tub. The driveway is a little narrow or not easy on the slope. But that didn't pose a big problem either. Would recommend and come back again.

Anton was a very responsive and accommodating host. The place is tucked away in nature which means lots of serene sounds, peace and quietness. The place is decked out with all the basic cooking stuff, guides and books to really disconnect from our city lives. Only challenge was getting our small rental car over the driveway to the cabin. Highly recommended

A truly beautiful place to stay. We went as a family of 5 (2 boys and baby). The surroundings are incredibly beautiful and plenty to do if you are looking for an adventure walk. The bon fire pit and the outside bath was the highlight of all our time! The sleeper couch was especially cosy by the fire place when it was rainy. We will definitely be back again!

It was such a treat to be a part of Helen's beautiful farm life for a week. There is a peaceful bustle about, while retaining your privacy. Helen is lovely, helpful and makes you feel right at home. The perfect cost-effective base to explore Hogsback from - and dog friendly was an absolute bonus (you even have your own fenced backyard). Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us!

At Casa Jean we felt ourselves like at home. Inside the cabin we found everything we needed, it’s even more spacious than in photos. Terrace is perfect with beautiful views. We recommend it 100%!

Great nature retreat! The porch overlooks the river Nile and you’ll be surrounded by lots of monkeys and birds. The staff is very attentive and the restaurant offers a nice variety of foods. Ceyda responds quickly to any questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Eco Chalet is really a fantastic spot on earth - impeccably clean, spacious and very stylishly furnished. The morning light makes the view of San Andrés next door particularly magical. During the day, the Eco Chalet is both a fantastic starting point for excursions and a retreat for relaxation. The chalet is undoubtedly one of the best accommodations on the island and is highly recommended! Particularly noteworthy are the hosts Lilly and Riccardo, whose warm nature immediately makes you feel very welcome. Tip: The two are not only excellent interlocutors, they also have extensive knowledge of ecological agriculture and can explain a lot about the plants planted in the garden. Will definitely go back!

Our stay at the Forest Cabin was absolutely magical. The cabin itself is beautiful—thoughtfully designed, cozy, and perfectly nestled in nature. Surrounded by lush bushes, with the ocean nearby and even zebras wandering around, it felt like a dream come true. It’s the ideal place to relax, disconnect, and soak up the peaceful atmosphere. We loved sitting on the porch, listening to the sounds of nature, and watching wildlife right outside. The cabin was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s a truly unique and unforgettable experience—we can’t wait to return!

We drove in leaving the chaos behind and entered a hidden gem! The cabin was breathtaking. From the river to the hiking trail was an absolute adventure. The misty mornings with all the birds chirping in between the sound of the river is definitely worth the stay. Experiencing the outside shower surrounded with nature was the best. This is the perfect place to get away especially braaing next to the river. There are cute shops all around with the eatery who sells what you need and to chill and have crafted drinks. Thank you Bonita for everything. We will definitely visit again.

Charls’ place is truly a slice of paradise — the pictures simply don’t do it justice. Nestled right on the edge of the lagoon, the views are absolutely breathtaking. We were captivated by the ever-changing colors of the water, especially during sunrise and sunset. Watching wild horses gracefully wander past as the day began or ended felt like something out of a dream. One of the unexpected highlights was kayaking on the lagoon — such a peaceful and memorable experience. The home itself is beautifully appointed and exceptionally well-equipped. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered — from quality bedding and a hairdryer to conveniently placed plugs (which we really appreciated!). The added bonus of a washing machine and tumble dryer made our stay even more comfortable. If you considering it - don't hesitate, just book it!
