Il Piccolo Casale is a typical 16th/17th century Sicilian "baglio" consisting of a central courtyard surrounded by a succession of rooms that were partly used as a mill for the production of oil and warehouses and partly as a manor house. The beach it overlooks is among the most beautiful and pristine in the area, characterized by stone and gravel. The seabed is almost entirely fine sand (but may change depending on storm surges). Simply put, it's a real house on the sea!
