This maybe the quintessential Italian countryside retreat. First and foremost, the family are charming, welcoming, and of course accommodating. We never felt as though we were invading the family space or that we were unwelcome in anyway. A little mutual respect goes a long way even when there is ample space. We had chats by the pool, shared gin and tonics and enjoyed accordion music. This was not artifice, just lovely family life. The pool is ideal, crystal clear and warm. House and kitchen very well equipped. Yes, there is a pasta machine. Others have mentioned the road and it is a little tricky. Just be patient with yourself, the car and the road. Stock up with provisions. Leave the Ferrari at home Make the most of the solitude. To me, this family, the house, and the location are what Airbnb is about at it's very best. Perfect for 2 couples that want to share a house but want their own space. Very highly recommended.

Andreina and Mauro have created a beautiful holiday home which we’re fortunate to stay at. Well furnished, comfortable, practical - it is very easy to settle into your new surroundings. The pool is undoubtedly the star: immaculately maintained, wonderfully clean and non chlorinated, set against a beautiful view down to the lake. And the icing on the cake: Mauro also gifted us some of his delicious red wine which he made from his local vines! Highly recommended!

Very nice place. Quiet, beautiful, very well equipped, Wije the caretaker was very kind and helpful. Lots to see and do an easy drive away.
