Gorgeous country apartment w/ hot tub & log burner

ChristinaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our stay lived up to high expectations. Ainslie went over and above with decorations for my boyfriend’s birthday; welcome notes; homemade cake; fizz and ice in the fridge. She was warm and welcoming, and we felt completely relaxed. So grateful for such a lovely stay in a beautiful area. We will definitely be back! Thank you Ainslie 🥰🤩🥳

A charming, well appointed Edwardian Gate Lodge

JeffreyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars! Excellent home in a really peaceful beautiful location. It was easy to find and no issues entering the property. Stunning old house which clearly has a lot of history. The home was well presented and we found it comfortable. All the instructions were clear. The hot tub was excellent and the kids loved it. So peaceful at night. Only a 10 min drive into Alyth where there is a couple of shops, but many many lovely walks about ideal for dogs. The wifi was a bit hit and miss we struggled watching tv as it kept freezing with no signal. However given the rural location this is excepted and didn’t bother us too much. AGA cooker was great a real experience and I’m sure in the winter it’s beautiful and warm. Overall we would recommend the property, my only room for improvement would be looking into the WiFi and potentially adding a better dining table and chairs outside. It would have been lovely to dine outside on some more comfort chairs and better seating. Still 5 stars!

A Cozy Bothy Retreat with Hot Tub!

SamanthaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Was very happy with our stay here, The evening with the hot tub was lovely and private, everything was clean and well presented. There was games left in the house for our use and we got use of these. The instructions before arriving to find location was helpful although the postcode in Apple Maps did take us straight the correct location which was great. Overall we were very pleased with the whole experience and would stay again. The added bonus was the hosts had a new puppy and we got to meet this beautiful fur baby on checkout.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation- the wisteria 😍 The surroundings are simply breathtaking. We had such a lovely stay at the Duck House, greeted with the sweet animals- lambs, dogs, sheep, donkeys, goats! The beds were super comfy 😃 and the hot tub was a nice treat after hiking. Andrew was kind and quick to reply to any queries. I really hope to return soon and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a break in the Scottish countryside!

The Chefs Cottage

JacobRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Beautiful cottage in a peaceful location. Cottage was as described, clean, comfortable beds, great kitchen which we really enjoyed for making breakfast, and great bathrooms. Loch Tay is such a peaceful spot. We hiked the first day at Acharn Falls and the Birks of Aberfeldy. Both great family hikes. Day 3 we hiked Ben Lawers which is about 8-9 west along lake if you want a challenge. Stop in Aberfeldy at Coop for lots of groceries but definitely try the small store next door to cottage. Taymouth marina is close for watersports, book ahead if you want to do sauna or hot tub. Restaurant there was nice for dinner. Overall, a great experience.

Fairytale Thatched Highland Cottage, Aberfeldy

My wife and I plus our two dogs had an absolutely fantastic time at Annie’s cottage. Annie is a superb host and responded to our messages very promptly the welcome package was exceptional as was the wee extras for my wife. The cottage is straight forward to get to and parking is directly in front of the cottage. The cottage is ideal for exploring Aberfeldy, Glen Lyon, kenmore and beyond. The setting is stunning, peaceful and cosy. The conservatory is superb and looks out to the peaceful rear garden. The bedrooms are lovely, cosy and comfortable. The downstairs living areas are spacious and ideal for dog crates. The kitchen and utility areas have everything you need for your stay. I can honestly say we had a great time and Annie made sure our stay was special. We will definitely be back.

Garden Cottage in Highland Perthshire

JayRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We are just back from a wonderful week at garden cottage with our son and daughter-in-law and labradors. The cottage really did live up to expectations in a beautiful location up on a hill with great views. The cottage was well maintained and had everything that we could possibly need, the decor was lovely and we felt at home immediately. It was also great having a completely enclosed large garden for our dogs and with the beautiful weather we had, we definitely made the most of it! Host was great, responsive and friendly. Would definitely visit again! 😊

A stunning Perthshire rural retreat

KateRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A beautiful cottage in a stunning location with great views. Perfectly located for exploring the local area and for accessing some fantastic walking. The Cottage has been beautifully decorated, with some lovely touches to make you feel very welcome and at home. Very comfortable bed. Kitchen is well equipped with everything that you need for self-catering. Jan was a very welcoming host with recommendations on the local area, and making sure all was well. We enjoyed The Cottage in beautiful sunshine and made the most of sitting in the garden, so didn't get a chance to use the log burner in the cosy lounge - another time!

The Shiel - Luxury Self-Catering Accommodation In Perthshire

StephRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Freda and Philip were fantastic hosts. They were incredibly helpful from the initial run-up to our stay, messaging about how best they could help us, to checking in and providing us with local recommendations. The Shiel itself was absolutely stunning, both inside and out. It had everything we needed, was so clean and had a lovely outdoor area. It was a perfect stay for our family (incl a baby and a dog) would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Hawthorn Cottage

BrianRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Hawthorn Cottage is very well appointed throughout where it is clear that a high degree of detail has been given to all aspects. It felt very homely, was welcoming, clean and very modern. It was a great base for lots of adventures including walking Schiehallion. Our dog really appreciated the thoughful touches that made her welcome too, including the secure garden.

Charming Cottage wing of traditional country house

Georg UlrichRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The lodge has 3 cottages. We stayed at the Keepers Cottage with wonderful views of the Dunalastair Water. The cottage's amenities are above average and Susan and Peter are very nice and helpful hosts. You have to know that Kinloch Rannoch is a very remote region, Aberfeldy or Pitlochry is about 40 minutes by car. The region is very suitable for biking and hiking. The ascent of the Schiehallion is possible from close proximity, and the Rannoch Moor is also worth a trip, not just for Harry Potter fans.
