This is my Jubilee.

KatherineRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had the most wonderful time at Jubilee Lodge – a real gem! The lodge itself is beautifully light, airy, and impeccably comfortable, with every little detail thought of to make our stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. As a family of five, we felt completely at home. Cheryl was the perfect host – warm, welcoming, and full of fantastic local suggestions. Her kindness really made our experience even more special. The absolute highlight for us was the hot tub – soaking before and after a day exploring was pure bliss. And the view… just breathtaking! Acres of rolling landscape as far as the eye can see – a rare and peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Jubilee Lodge is a special place that we feel so lucky to have found. We’ll definitely be back – thank you, Cheryl, for a truly memorable stay!

Quiet cottage in rural Devon near sea and moors

StephenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A second great stay at The Linhay. Ruth and Rob are excellent hosts, very friendly and welcoming. It is very tranquil and an ideal place to relax and unwind. The surrounding areas of Torquay, Totnes, Brixham, etc have both coast and country within easy driving. The Linhay itself has been spotless both times we have been there and has all the necessities for comfort and catering as well as being warm, cosy, quiet and private. We would not have returned a second time if we had not been impressed by our first visit.

Stoop Stables

KerryRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Arriving at Stoop Stables we immediately recognised we’d made a great choice. Accommodation was clean, cozy and the location was prefect for our family holiday. The narrow lanes to and from the property were a beautiful daily adventure. A home from home feel with Eco & organic product choices too which we like to use. Fresh garden flowers added a warm touch. Everything about Julie & Andrew’s Air bnb was 5 star, everything you would need and nothing was an issue. We’ll look forward to our next visit.

The ‘Hangman’s’ Cottage

AnniRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Hangman's Cottage was a beautiful place to spend a weekend while visiting nearby family. The cottage is clean, comfortable, and cosy, situated with a beautiful view across the little front garden to Abbotskerswell's church and pub (we'd recommend a stroll around the former and a meal at the latter). Hannah was proactive and helpful, sending clear instructions for check-in, and the place was easy to access (there are a few little steps up from street level to get to the door, for anyone less mobile). Inside, the space is thoughtfully decorated and there are plenty of blankets and cushions, though the ambient temperature was perfect for us. The twin beds are comfortable and the hosts have hung blinds to help ensure the bedroom is dark at night. The well-appointed little kitchen has more or less everything you might need to make breakfast or simple meals, and we arrived to find a thoughtful welcome basket from the hosts. Overall it was a lovely stay and we'd happily stay there again.
