Rødhættes Hus is a tiny house, which is peaceful and idyllic on the shore of Kovad Bækken, in a clearing in the middle of Rold Skov and overlooking the meadow and forest. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful forest lake St. Øksø. The perfect starting point for hiking and mountain biking in Rold Forest and Rebild Hills or as a quiet shelter in the tranquility of the forest, from which life can be enjoyed, perhaps with the mouse owl hovering over the meadow, the squirrel darting up the tree trunk, a good book in front of the wood stove or coziness in the firelight at night.

Close to the city is a wooden house hidden in the middle of a forest. It sounds as amazing as it is. Here you get raw nature, tranquility and forest, no matter where you look. The house is well-equipped, the rooms are cozy and the terrace is perfect for morning coffee, lunch outdoors, barbecue or lying on a sunbed and reading a book. Go into the clearing and light a fire or jump on the trampoline with the kids. In the house you will find a kitchen, toilet and bathroom and a cozy living room with a wood-burning stove. Play board games or stream a movie. Just relax here.

The house is located on the shore of Hornum Lake on private land along the lake shore. Possibility of swimming from a private beach and fishing from the lake shore as well as a campfire. There is a bathroom with toilet and sink, and showering takes place under the outdoor shower. Kitchen with 2 hotplates, refrigerator with freezer - but no oven. The lease is from 1 pm to 10 am the following day. There is a heat pump, soap, dishwashing detergent, cleaning supplies, etc. - but remember to bring bed linen😀 and towels, and pets are welcome, just not on the furniture.

The area is suitable for activities in nature, and there are plenty of trails for both biking and hiking. The house was built in 1975, and the original style has been tried to preserve. There is no luxury here, but plenty of tranquility and opportunity for presence. Within driving distance of the house are Blokhus and Løkken, which offer plenty of cultural attractions and dining options. Dog welcome but only on the floor 😀

Right outside the door there are marked hiking trails, and close to MTB tracks as well as riding trails. Possibility of grass paddocks for horses within 1 km. Ørnhøj Golf Club is only 8 km away and 20 km to Rold Skov Golf Club.

The family rooms have their own toilet/bath and have direct access to the terrace. All rooms have views of fields and forests. The guest house is located on a farm, we have various animals and a ceramics workshop you can visit.

In the forest near the house we have built a shelter. The shelter can be used for a short break or an overnight stay in the nature.
