House vacation rentals in 12 South, Nashville

We were there for a quick weekend in Nashville and this place was perfect! The unit was clean and the decorations were cute. The unit was more spacious than expected which was a plus. The unit faces the back of the building and it was on a relatively quiet street, and street parking was available for additional cars. Broadway is about a 30 min walk or a 7 minute uber (we ubered since they were relatively cheap; average $12). It was also close to The Gulch which was awesome. The host was responsive when we had a question about parking and even let us check in a little early! I would recommend this place and likely book again!

We LOVED it! The location was wonderful! Close enough to downtown, but a nice quiet area. We took Lyft most places in the evening just for ease. But in all reality, we didn't need to leave! The pool, the hot tub! The whole area was wonderful!

Really great place to stay! Peaceful, relaxing backyard. A few close bars/ restaurants. Quick uber ride downtown.

I want to start by saying, a HUGE thank you to Jim and Mary! Jim greeted us in person when we arrived. We had an amazing stay in their wonderful home, waking up to a beautiful view of the lake. They have a private swimming pool but we didn’t get to use it, it would be perfect for summertime. Their kitchen has some supplies you can use, the rooms are spacious and clean, they also have clean towels in the closet. One of the highlights of our stay is Jim’s delicious pecan pie that he personally baked for us! We appreciate their thoughtfulness and for making me and my family feel welcome. They are very responsive whenever we needed help or have questions, also pet friendly, we were able to bring our family furbaby with us. Absolutely we’re willing to stay again in this lovely home.

Such a beautiful property with an amazing host. We felt at home away from home. The neighborhood was gorgeous and very pleasant to walk around every morning. We loved how spacious the home was as well. The pool and hot tub were both clean and such a nice place to spend an evening while grilling out with friends. The experience was amazing, we cannot wait to go back🙏🏼

We had such a good time at this house! The kitchen was perfectly stocked to be able to do any or all meals at the house, the bedrooms were great sizes, the couch was wildly comfortable and the backyard was beautiful! Great location, we felt safe walking to a nearby playground and there were plenty of restaurants/breweries in a quick 10 minute drive. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Alex’s condo. It is very spacious and clean with comfortable beds. We enjoyed swimming in the pool as well.

We had a great stay, everything was exactly as described. East access to downtown, beautifully decorated. The backyard was great for some downtime.

This was a great place to stay for my best friend’s Bachelorette trip! The host was very responsive and made sure that we had everything we needed. I saw a few comments about the location being sketchy so I was a bit worried but honestly I felt safe and so did the others girls! We had no problems with the location at all. I only rated 4 stars for cleanliness because a few of the dishes in the cupboard were dirty, and the blinds were kinda broken in spots. It was very helpful having all of the dishes,utensils and utilities. I would definitely recommend staying here!

The host Stephen was incredibly friendly, and accommodating and helpful. The house itself was stocked with everything you could possibly need including extras like a cooler and other small things that you wouldn’t think about. Would definitely stay there again. Great location. Excellent host.

We've been to AirBNBs in several countries and many states (and elsewhere in Nashville) and this was definitely one of our all-time faves. The way Kelli and Sarah use every inch of space inside Flatrock House yet make it feel spacious, full of light, and uncluttered is inspiring. Our hosts’ recommendation printouts were indispensable, our dog loved the enclosed backyard (and the modest pet fee). Cool selection of books/games/records, an awesome projector, a very cookable kitchen setup. Kelli and Sarah were so responsive and helpful as hosts while making us feel like we were all alone on our own quiet property. Absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a unique, great-value/immaculate-vibes stay in Nashville as many other options grow increasingly antiseptic, expensive, and management company–ish. The personal touch and perfect little home here really make Flatrock House stand out.

The home is SO cute and in such an adorable area. Everything was clean and tidy and easy to find. The place is bigger than it looks in photos and such a perfect place to stay.

We had a fantastic stay here and cannot recommend it highly enough. A small group of us were in the area for a retreat, and this was the perfect place for us to recharge. Beautiful, comfortable, and clean. Joshua was a very gracious host, and we appreciated how quick he was to respond to our pre-trip questions. We'd definitely stay here again!

We loved this place. All of the memorabilia was fascinating. My teenagers were very impressed with all of the history that was available for them to look at. The house was comfortable and very cute. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful above the garage apartment in lovely east Nashville! We traveled with 4 people-2 adults and 2 kids. The kids slept great on the pull out futon. Bathroom had all the amenities (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash included) and large shower. Decorated beautifully. My boyfriend loved the water filter in the kitchen. Location was quaint and peaceful. Ample parking behind the apt for one vehicle. Thanks for having us! Would stay again in the future.

Kevin's place was perfect! The location is close to lots of great places in East Nashville, the area is a peaceful quiet neighborhood and the home has everything I needed including a great yard for my pups:)

It was exactly how it was described. Nick was very helpful when I had a question. It was located close enough to get to Broadway (we used an Uber) and only about 10 minutes away with traffic. If/when we come back would definitely try to stay here again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the house is quaint and comfortable. Much like other reviews said, the house and neighborhood were peaceful and quiet. Great area that we would like to explore in the future! Bill was one of the most amazing hosts—communicated well & often, flexible, and accommodating.

Sarah’s place is super cute and in a nice neighborhood close to restaurants. I enjoyed my stay and would be happy to stay there again.

We loved our time here at Stacy’s place! It was in a perfect spot, we loved walking down to 12 south for shopping and food! Driving to broadway was also quick & easy! A perfect location & beautiful home! They had everything needed for us to cook a meal and the bathrooms were fully stocked for anything we may have forgotten. I highly recommend staying here!

My husband and I were absolutely thrilled with our 2 week stay at this spotless, beautifully equipped and decorated home. The king bed was super comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need, and the location was convenient to our family and other places we needed to be. We recommend Dodge and Sophia’s beautiful rental in a heartbeat, and sure look forward to staying again!
