Located on the paved circular route around the lake (9 km) - ideal for joggers or inline skaters, as well as all those who like to exercise in the fresh air, the time out at Lake Markkleeberg is perfect. The apartment can accommodate 2 people. Based on the experience of recent years, we no longer rent to guests with children under 6 years!

We rent a small apartment in our straw bale house in Markkleeberg. The property is quietly located, not far from the Markkleeberger lake. You can expect a 1-bedroom apartment in a quiet location, with its own kitchen and small bathroom. The outdoor area invites you to linger. Between chickens and ducks you can relax wonderfully. Also very suitable for children and families. Diverse excursion destinations into the countryside possible. 15 min drive to Leipziger Zentrum (car).

Welcome TO the HOUSE IM REED 1 - The cozy home on Lake Hainer. Our adult accommodation is picturesquely located on the north shore of Lake Hain (2 min walk), in the middle of Leipzig's Neuseenland, only 20 minutes by car from Leipzig. Open the doors and the large, wrap-around wooden terrace becomes the outdoor extension of the inner comfort zone in apartment 3. Here you can enjoy the sun from breakfast to a drink at sunset, without losing sight of the lake.

Our newly renovated 60 m² apartment with two bedrooms, living room, bathroom with shower and spacious dining room/kitchen is available as accommodation from June 1, 2025. It is just 300 meters to the magnificent beach of Lake Zwenkau and the unique Zwenkau floodplain forest basically begins right at your doorstep.

The integrated floor-to-ceiling windows offer a breathtaking view of the Zwenkauer harbor while providing a pleasant daily light radiation. The two sun terraces are accessible through the living room and offer the ideal opportunity for relaxation with a Muschelloun bed and a wooden table with several seating options.

The charming guest apartment is a separate apartment in our house near the Leipzig lake landscape. The apartment is the ideal starting point for hikes on foot or by bike in the green belt of Leipzig. Thanks to the excellent transport connections, all sights and the city center can be reached quickly. For a cozy breakfast on the balcony, you will find fresh rolls from our traditional bakery and a master butcher around the corner.

Cozy camper at Lake Zwenkau

A lovingly modernized caravan could be your nearest exciting station to explore the beautiful area on Zwenkauer See, discover Leipzig, unwind for a few days or just as a short stopover. The 2x2m bed can accommodate 2 adults + 1-2 children. A fall protection for toddlers can be installed (see photo). A baby bed can be provided. Thanks to its integrated heating, the camper is also well equipped for autumn and winter.

Our child-free adult accommodation is picturesquely located on the sunny north shore of Lake Hain (2 min walk) and in the middle of Leipzig's Neuseenland, only 20 minutes by car from Leipzig. In apartment 8, the wooden terrace facing south and east has a wonderful view of the lake, unobstructed nature and an unforgettable sunset.
