Family-friendly vacation rentals in Zug

Joys Apartment is like time traveling, it’s originally 70/80ies but extremely well kept - everything is working perfectly despite being obviously heavily used over the years. It was also extremely clean, never seen auch a clean Airbnb before. There is a bar in the basement but 100% quit. What is not so quit are the neighbors that kept running through the staircase all night. But this can be different for every stay since this is a boarding house. The only downside I can think of is the sometimes slow and somehow random communication with Joy. It was not always easy to get a helpful answer right away. Nevertheless Joy was very nice and let us stay a bit longer on our departure day which helped us a lot. Thank you Joy! Until next time!

Wow, we booked this Airbnb quite spontaneously because we needed a weekend retreat away and this delivered! Admittedly, you do need to be prepared that it’s not the easiest place to get to - but we packed light and had plenty of hands to get the groceries brought over. In the end;however, with a bit of planning, it was no issue at all getting there with our toddler and baby. And the location absolutely delivered! It was just what we needed to be in an undisturbed, peaceful setting to unwind from the busyness of everyday life. And the views are amazing!! As disclosed, a few elements of this house aren’t renovated (bathrooms), so if this is ever done then it will help elevate the house as well. I wasn’t aware that it was a two story house - which for us was perfect as we stayed below and my parents stayed above and gave us each some separate living space. I’d absolutely recommend Carmen’s place if you are looking for a true Swiss retreat that’s off the beaten path!

a very cozy apartment with a well equipped kitchen. refrigerator, microwave, toaster and filter coffee machine were there too. towels were changed once per a week on Wednesday and garbage bins were emptied too. this service was very convenient for us.

Great stay in Kilchberg next to the lake, bus stop and train station

This place was perfect for our family. There are two separate entrances so one room is private from the other two. The views are AMAZING. It does require some coordination if you want to go into town as the train only runs about every hour, but we found the surroundings well worth the effort. The hot tub was so nice in the evenings, just plan to start the fire early as it takes a bit to heat up. Also HIGHLY recommend getting farm fresh eggs/milk/butter. It was super reasonable and so convenient to have it dropped at the house. Host were also very communicative which I appreciated. Overall, I would highly recommend this place if you want peace and gorgeous surroundings.

Superb view. Great location. Easy public transportation to Zurich and all of central Switzerland. Convenient parking. Patrick, as host, is gracious, responsive, and very helpful with activity suggestions.

Joy's place is a steal in Zurich. close to tram station. Entrance is on the inside so can get difficult to locate for travelers and ubers, rest is great. 2 bathrooms between 3 rooms is great especially with kids. Garden wasn't there as mentioned in description. Also would have loved if there were basic consumables like coffee, sugar, dish washer liquid etc available.

The location of this place was great! One stop with the tram ride to reach the heart of the city, and a block away from the lake. The apartment is high end and had really nice aroma which made the space even more inviting.

The location of the accommodation is in a place that fits the appearance of the accommodation expected in Switzerland, with a view of the lake. The milk, juice, and bread prepared by the host were excellent. It's a place I want to come back to.

We had a wonderful week at the Rigi. The chalet is in a great location, quiet and with a great view, yet you are quickly in the village shop or at the train station. Sandra is friendly and easily accessible, as well as extremely helpful even with special requests! We will be happy to come back.

A great place away from all the tourist packed. Peaceful and a picturesque view of the mountains

The house is nestled in the heart of breathtaking nature, where the air is fresh, tranquil, and beautiful. Surrounded by expansive green fields, wheat stalks and prairie flowers sway like golden waves under the warm sun. **The house itself** is built of natural wood, with a roof that glows in the moonlight. The facade is adorned with colorful flowers. Away from the noise of the city, this house is not just a residence, but a **sanctuary for the soul**, where memories are woven amidst nature and one renews one's passion for a simple, beautiful life.

The house was perfect. It had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Super close to a tram stop which made it easy to get into Zurich. Safe and quiet neighborhood. My mother in law ended up having emergency surgery while we were there - the hospital is a 3 minute walk from the house. Thomas and his family were so kind and helpful during a stressful situation. While the vacation did not go as planned, being in such a beautiful space made all the difference! We would love to come and stay at Thomas' home anytime!

We booked this place for my in-laws to stay for a few nights while they visited us. Paul and Klara were very easy to communicate with, helpful during the stay, and everything went very well. We’d love to book the place again sometime for future guests

The host was very friendly and accommodating,really great. She even picked us up downstairs at the parking lot. We enjoyed this stay very much in the middle of nature. S10 is in 21 minutes directly on Bahnhofstrasse.

They were both flexible and very communicative. The view from the deck is gorgeous. Is definitely out of the city center. Great market is about a 10 min walk through residential neighborhood. Kitchen has everything for cooking you need.

We loved Casa Husenfels and thought Carmen was a very helpful and responsive host! The views are unbeatable and it was special to see fireworks across the lake for New Years Eve. I’d also recommend the walk up the hill, which we didn’t discover until our last day - serene and beautiful views.

Beautiful accommodation with a dream view! The apartment is perfectly equipped, very clean and lovingly furnished – nothing is missing. There are two supermarkets directly opposite and an underground parking space is included. The absolute highlight: the incredible view of the lake and mountains. So nice that I didn't need the TV once! The location is quiet and perfect to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and really unwind. Communication with the hosts was exceptional – fast, warm and always available. I felt completely comfortable and would love to come back! 5 stars – highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, nature and comfort.
