Centuries ago, a castle called ‘Huis Ulft’ was located on the premises. It used to belong to the sister of one of the Netherlands most important historical figures. Nowadays, the location still resembles a fairytale’s beauty. The cottage is comfortably equipped with facilities as a large private terrace, multiple unique bedrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen.

The vacation home is located in a small-scale quiet vacation park, this park is located on a large swimming lake with many hiking and biking routes. It is a quiet park, where people also come for their peace and not to party. The house has a large garden with complete privacy, with a fireplace and a pizza oven. Het Goede Gemoed is located in a very wooded area where you can walk, cycle and recreate to your heart's content. On the grounds of the University of Twente you can enjoy sports. The inner cities of Enschede, Hengelo, Oldenzaal and Borne are within cycling distance of the house. The lovely villages of Delden, Goor, Boekelo are also in the vicinity. Het Goede Gemoed; "Afterwards and yet close". Good cozy restaurants are plentiful and also grabbing a movie is done in no time.

't Ganzennest: This fully furnished detached cottage is located in the outskirts of the 8-castle village of Vorden. Due to its location, it is ideal for hikers, cyclists and nature lovers. A bicycle shed is provided. The cottage is heated or cooled downstairs by an air conditioner. The sleeping loft is unheated and really cold in winter. There is an electric radiator. In short, enjoy this beautiful area. Not suitable for those with disabilities. Without breakfast.

The Leemgate is a cozy and attractive vacation home with beautiful views. The house (4500 sq. ft.) has its own entrance and therefore a lot of privacy. Bicycles can be placed and possibly charged in the lockable garden shed. The car can be parked next to the house. Outside, you can sit and enjoy the view of the meadow. The Pieterpad runs 500 m from the house. Vorden is a great place for cycling and hiking through the beautiful nature along culture and history.

From this ideally located accommodation, you can do all kinds of activities, such as boating, paddle boarding, cycling, swimming, hiking, canoeing, etc. The boathouse is very centrally located, and the cozy boulevard with its terraces and the city center of Harderwijk are within walking distance. There is also a wood-burning stove allowing you to warm up by the stove on cold evenings and of course in the sauna. Our horses walk in the meadow in front of the garden, and our chickens also walk freely through the garden.
