Vacation rentals with breakfast in Zanzibar Archipelago

Marram Villas, Nassier, and his amazing team rescued me from a nightmare stay that I had to leave after just one night. I lucked out and got a same day booking for Marram and was able to check in early. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such grace and hospitality, which is especially impressive as we were totally unexpected. I'm forever grateful to Nassier, Magaret, Anheta (I might have that wrong), and others for taking such good care of us. I honestly didn't want to leave. Nassier checked in often and was truly so kind. The breakfast was amazing and abundant and the dinner options were fantastic (especially the octopus) -- there was so much to choose from including local cuisine. The place is spacious, clean, smells amazing, and is so modern yet comfy. There is nothing that the host did not think about including a water cooler to refill water bottles. If ever I'm back in Zanzibar, I'll definitely stay at Marram Villas. I can't say enough nice things.

Definitely felt like we won the "Last-Minute Booking Lottery" with this property!!! Place was better than advertised, and I never had an Airbnb host as accommodating as Khalid. 15 minute drive got you to all of the fun and exciting things to do on the island of Zanzibar, and my man Khalid had everything line up for us to maximize our 3 days/2 nights there. Would recommend this to anyone as their first option if they want to get away from being in the noisy downtown area. Oh, can't forget, that pool was amazing...could've stayed in there all day.

A beautiful Airbnb and amazing host! The hospitality was great and the surprised breakfast being included was a plus. It was a bit hard to find, but once we did we didn’t want to leave! Wished we stayed at this Airbnb longer!

We had an amazing time at Liza’s villa! It’s a very beautiful house, especially the pool area and the rooftop. Liza provided a lot of information about the house and the area beforehand, which was appreciated.

Die Villa ist mit sie sehr viel Stil und Liebe eingerichtet. Die Besitzerin Patrizia sehr hilfsbereit und wirklich stilvoll. Die Gemälde an der Wand, die Bettwäsche aus Italien, die Details in der Villa und dann der Koch, der denn noch das Frühstück vorbereitet – es ist einfach nur zum Wohl fühlen und super!

We were in the villa for 4 nights. It was just perfect. The house is new and it is really cozy. A nice external area with a delicious shower. Roger and the team are really supportive and nice, always available to respond to our requests! Jambiani is a great place to stay on the island! We will love to come back in the future! Absolutely recommended.

Hanna, Inès et moi vous remercions énormément pour cet accueil unique. Le cadre est sublime, Paulette et Didier ont été aux petits soins avec nous. Nous nous sommes senti comme à la maison. Paulette a su répondre à nos besoins et nous a préparé un festin excellent (spécialité congolaise/swahili) avec des produits frais. Sa cuisine est faite avec amour et beaucoup d’attention. La décoration de chaque chambre et séjour commun sont magnifiques. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter et nous recommandons cette maison d’hôte. À bientôt!!

Zanzilywood is good place for those looking peaceful surroundings in an isolated location. The grounds include a pool and store with all the items you need. The apartments are very spacious. If anything is missing, the hosts are quick correct the situation. Moreover, the host can arrange for your transportation both near and into Stonestown. I was satisfied with my stay.

The apartment is perfect for walking to restaurants and enjoying the beautiful beach. Different to most airbnbs we’ve stayed at - Not totally private as it is more of a family hospitality feeling rather than hotel style airbnb. We appreciated the local recommendations and daily clean, comfortable bed, breakfast, meals on request, and the onsite general manager. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and flexible for timings. It is Zanzibar so expect some small hiccups such as short power/wifi/water cuts - a small price to pay for paradise.

Benard is truly a Superhost! From the moment i arrived, he made feel welcome and ensured i had everything needed for a comfortable stay. His attention to detail, communication, and hospitality were exceptional. The space was spotless and well-equipped, and his thoughtful touches made all the difference.

Es war ein toller Urlaub mit vielen hilfreichen Tipps für Ausflüge in der Umgebung. Das Haus ist komplett neu und wird liebevoll von Lisa und ihrem Mann gepflegt. Alles war sehr sauber und das Frühstück gesund und nahrhaft. Wie man es sich wünscht :) In 5 Gehminuten ist man an einem tollen Naturstrand, der nicht von vielen Touristen belagert ist und man hat seine Ruhe. Mit dem Mopedtaxi kann man jederzeit in die Stadt, bzw. sich auch Sachen ins Airbnb liefern lassen… das ist wirklich ein toller Service. Wenn man einen längeren Ausflug plant, sind die Gastgeber stets zu Hilfe einen Wagen mit Fahrer zu organisieren. Im Airbnb ist keine Kilmaanlage, was aber nicht stört, da im oberen Stock stets ein guter Luftstrom durch die Deckenventilatoren + Balkon entsteht. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

Really great stay at this apartment, boutique feel and just like the photos. The complex where the property is situated is big but the host is easy to reach via message , phone call and inbox. Cleaner service every couple of days was a bonus. I stayed here with my family and was very happy and safe.

Emmanuel's place is just the best to catch an early flight or to find a bed after a long and late flight from / into Zanzibar. The Hotel is just a short walk from the Airport (domestic / international). Emmanuel is very helpful, communication couldnt be better. I can warmly recommend the accomodatinon

Amazing place! If you're looking for a calm stay away from the most touristic areas this is it. Lovely decorated and close to a perfectly empty beach. We really loved it, hope to be back soon. Can totally recommend this place especially for families.

Mein Aufenthalt bei Simona und Mustafa war großartig. Ich habe mich sofort wie zuhause gefühlt. Simona ist eine großartige Gastgeberin. Die Unterkunft ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet und ist eine kleine ruhige, grüne Oase in bester Lage, in der man nah am Strand gelegen ist und trotzdem Ruhe und Entspannung finden kann. Für mich war dieses kleine Paradies eine der schönste Unterkünfte in ganz Zanzibar. Ich würde jedem empfehlen hier ein paar schöne Tage zu verbringen. Ich komme wieder, vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit bei Euch🙏🏽

Eine wirklich süße Unterkunft. Die Besitzer sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Lage ist sehr ruhig und friedlich. Wir waren insgesamt 8 Tage hier zu Gast und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Frühstück war jeden Tag anders, immer mit einem Teller frischem Obst und gutem Kaffee. Das Wasser in der Dusche ist etwas salzig aber nichts worüber man sich beschweren sollte. Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden und kommen gern wieder.

The location is ideal: just a short 5 to 10-minute walk to Jambiani Beach, with Paje also easily accessible. Plus, the property offers all the amenities you could need, including a fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine. This makes it perfect for longer stays . The breakfast is delicious, and everything you could need for a comfortable stay is thoughtfully provided. For the price, this place offers incredible value—it's an absolute gem and one of the best Airbnb experiences I have had. We miss you and Zanzibar - thank you so much

We spent almost a month in this house. The room is great, the place is quiet and everything is green. There were very tasty and varied breakfasts. The room was always clean, bed linen and towels were changed regularly. Special thanks to Mudi for this! When the electricity was out on the island, this house always had electricity and Wi-Fi, which made remote work comfortable at any time. I would like to separately mention the owners Simona, Musa and their wonderful daughter Jamilla :) Wonderful people with whom it is interesting to communicate, from the first minutes it became clear that these people treat their guests very warmly and love to host people. We will definitely come to Simona and her family to visit again!

Simba und sein gesamtes Team haben sich zu jeder Zeit um einen gekümmert, egal ob es mitten in der Nacht war oder ganz in der Früh. Die Unterkunft hat mit die beste Lage auf Zanzibar, da man sich ganz entspannt am nahegelegenen Strand Sonnen kann oder doch abends mal zum ausgehen in die nächste Stadt fahren kann. Die Unterkunft bietet alles was man braucht. Das Essen ist super. Simba sorgt sich nicht nur um seine Gäste sondert hilft seinen Mitarbeitern bei jedem Anlass, das kriegt man nicht überall. Wir freuen uns solche herzlichen Menschen kennenden zu dürfen.

Staying at Said’s family-run bnb was total magic! Located right in the north of the island, 3-minutes walk away from the most sublime beach - white sand and turquoise water. The sun sets over the ocean. Said’s bungalows are lovely. Simple and clean, each with an en suite bathroom and an outside terrace with space to lounge. The bungalows are nestled in the deep shade of a beautiful garden that Said and his family have grown. Breakfasts are pancakes, fruit, coffee and tea. Dinners are delicious local meals, always with fish in the mix :) Pemba Moonlight is remote and other than a neighbouring hotel, there aren’t restaurants close by. So expect to eat most of your meals at Moonlight, unless you’re keen to mission. Said and his family are so warm and caring. They put in a lot of effort to care for their guests, and are embedded in their local community, so you can trust that money spent at moonlight stays on the island. Said will help with logistics/activities. 100% recommend!!!
