Sunset Palace, deluxe private rooftop terrace+pool

TristanRating, 5 stars54 months ago
Very beautiful room with probably the best we of the hotel. The open window view on the palm trees makes it very special. The room is very spacious and the bed very comfortable. The staff is really nice and there is always someone to help you if you need something. The location is very quiet and it's only a 5 minutes walk to the Beach. The only drawback is that water in the room was not always available. We stayed 5 night and we would stay again. Thank you for hosting us.

Ocean-view Rooms on a Sandy Beach.

NalanRating, 5 stars92 months ago
The hotels location is wonderful, there are many palm trees and the beach is simply splendid. The staff was extremely helpful and kind, if there is anything that you would like, ask and they will try their best to meet your demands. The internet is only accessible from the bar, but I personally spend my time swimming in the lovely sea and making the most of Zanzibar. I recommend that you participate in the tours to various islands and towns. I am definitely planning to return to Coral Reef hotel in the future.

Nyota double room with ensuite bathroom

JuliaRating, 5 stars113 months ago
Fleur was a lovely host! She and her team are very welcoming and warm! She gave us tips to discover Zanzibar. We went with a bike to the villages near Jambiani and discovered a secret place! Wow! The rooms are very big, clean and cosy, just like the rest. We enjoyed the pool very much. The restaurant just opened, with delicious food. We tried different foods in Jambiani, but the food at Zanzistar was the best. Very tasty! Thank you for feeling at home! Keep up the good work! Greetings Bart and Julia

Paje Hotel Villa swimming pool & Gardens 7 rooms

LuanaRating, 5 stars77 months ago
We had a great stay in Paje Hotel. The garden is so beautiful and the rooms simple but very nice. Only for the last night we had to change our room to one upstairs. This one was not so nice (no working aircon, not much daylight and you could hear the neighbors very well). We preferred the rooms downstairs. But all in all we enjoyed our stay alot.

Family House 7 pers

OliviaRating, 5 stars96 months ago
Zanzistar is a very beautifully styled small guesthouse - very colourful and tropical in the day, and candlelit and very atmospheric in the evening. The rooms in the family house are similarly gorgeously designed and are spacious and very clean - Zanzistar is such an aesthetically pleasing place to stay! Fleur and her team are very personable and hugely helpful in every matter, and the food and drinks are some of the best we had in Zanzibar. Jambiani itself is an incredibly idyllic beach and much quieter than other parts of Zanzibar - in short a wonderful place to stay if you wish to be further off the tourist trail!

Zanzicrown hotel, Bahari room

GaylaRating, 5 stars30 months ago
The room we had was quite warm as the ventilation was not good. When we inquired from the staff if a better ventilated room might be available they told us we needed to contact Elena. They could make no changes without her approval. I knew Elena was out of the country due to a family situation. I messaged her but did not expect a response and accepted the situation without complaint. We did not ask for air conditioning, simply inquired if a different room might be available. So keep this in mind that you may find the temperature uncomfortable.

Jasmine Sanctuary|Zawadi Room Stylish and spacious

TifaneiRating, 5 stars23 months ago
I enjoyed my stay so much that I opted to extend! It’s a very comfortable room, beautiful bathroom, and the proximity to the beach was fantastic for rolling out of bed and into sunrise meditations. Chantale was very helpful and went above and beyond to connect me to resources I needed. I would caution just that there’s quite a bit of construction going on now (July ‘23). It was mostly white noise to me, but as a guest I’d want to be aware of it, if sensitive to that sort of commotion. The WiFi was also fairly inconsistent—I’d recommend at sim card for internet needs.

Standard B Quadruple Bungalow with Ocean View

PiaRating, 5 stars31 months ago
This accomodation in Jambiani is just the perfect place to relax. It is located directly on the beach and the view is amazing. It is a very quiet place which is exactly what I have been looking for. The staff is so so friendly and helpful and you will always get a smile. They are happy to give advice on what excursions to do, but don't try to persuade you to book various tours, which I personally really liked. The food is delicious and varied. A personal plus for me was that it has been easy to get vegetarian/vegan dishes and the guys in the kitchen have been very flexible :) Asanteni sana marafiki zangu. Nitakuja tena!

Malindi Guest house ll

EbenezerRating, 5 stars15 months ago
I had a smooth time in Zanzibar. This was my first time ever booking on Airbnb and I indeed loved the stay. Ginie, who was the host around was very friendly and assisted a lot during my stay. It is a walking distance from the Ferry and safe to walk balk home from the main road even after a night out. Loved every detail of it and look forward to staying there again after Ramadhan when I visit Zanzibar.

Quiet compound located just off a main road. Close enough drive to city center and beach areas. The rooms were perfectly cleaned and check in was easy. Very secure and the guard was kind enough to wash our car very thoroughly. Garden is spacious, good for kids to play and burn off some energy. Breakfast was tasty. Would stay again if in Tanga.

My second time staying at the Lodge. Idyllic setting amid traditional palm-thatched roofs right next to the white sand beach and the Indian Ocean. And very reasonably priced. A kitchen if you want to cook, and a truly excellent Italian restaurant nearby (La Capannina.) Thank you again, Mwasiti, for all your cheerfulness, hard work and sunny disposition !

Deluxe double room (1 king size bed, 1 single)

ShellyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Patricks place was a great deal & what you would expect for the price. Ideal for backpackers & budget travelers. Patrick & his staff were super friendly. Our family of 4 rented 2 rooms for 1 night with the option to extend. My husband had an early AM appointment on that side of the island, so we decided to stay the night nearby. We would've extended & enjoyed another day at he beach had it had Air Conditioning. (I guess I hadn't read the full description on the listing) however, for the price, I should've known. Thankfully, we were comfortable enough to sleep the night with the fan. It is located up on the hill & there are many steps, so pack light & not handicap accessible. You can see & hear the ocean with a beautiful breeze on the deck. It's a cute Tree House style place with an actual tree house. They do offer breakfast in the morning, although we did not eat there. It is right across from the beautiful beach with easy access. Beach bars & restaurants within walking distance.
