Amazing place. Nicer than the pictures! Close to Mt Etna, Taormina, and the gorge. We had an amazing stay.

The check-in was flexible and easily arranged. The villa was beautiful and very comfortable for two couples, located outside of the city which makes it easy to unplug and relax. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We are a family of 9 adults and 4 children. This property served us quite well. The pool is beautiful! The adults and children enjoyed it very much. The scenic views are breathtaking. And the home itself, is so unique in a very “cool” way. We all loved the turret and the kids loved the space to wander. Salvo was very responsive and quickly took care of replacing a broken fan. Giulia was very helpful and quick responding back to questions. Also, gave us great recommendations for dining, etc. that were very helpful. Definitely would recommend Villa Eremo Sant’emilia!

Carlo was a super friendly host. We felt welcome in the truest sense of the word. We were greeted by him personally with a huge bowl of fresh fruit and a homemade cake! Carlo was very concerned about our well-being and gave us lots of great tips and recommendations for the region. The house with the large garden in a very quiet location offers a great view of Mount Etna and at the same time you can hear the sound of the sea. The house is very tastefully furnished, very clean and comfortable. As soon as it got dark, we enjoyed the view of Mount Etna from the fireplace. We would love to come back at any time and can highly recommend this accommodation.

We had a fantastic eight day stay in Mario’s wonderful villa. The location and views are incredible and we would highly recommend staying here. Mount Etna even erupted and put on a display (which was fabulous to witness) and Mario was hot on the phone telling us to get outside at 11pm to view the spectacle. A perfect venue with lots of space for our large party of eight adults and two children, the surrounding patios gave amazing panoramic views of the sea and countryside. We loved picking fresh oranges and cherries daily which was so relaxing and tasty! It’s a short 15 minute walk to the local town with a wonderful bakery and butchers plus supermarkets all accessable. We will definitely return to this wonderful villa when revisiting Sicily and I can’t recommend it enough! Thank you Mario .

Gwendalina's place was exactly as pictured and very centrally located right next to the cathedral and the fish market. The terrace was a great addition. Gwendalina was also super proactive with check-in and was very responsive. Definitely recommend!

Alberto was a fantastic, friendly host. He gave us reccomendations, booked us a great value return taxi and even taught us how to make pizza! The villa had a breath-taking view and it felt like our own little mountain retreat. The only downside is that the driveway is very steep and long - we had to leave our rental cars at the bottom of the road (and scratched one car from attempting to drive up it!). But, if you're ok with a steep walk up, then don't let it put you off staying in the beautiful location.

Maria was a fantastic and very attentive host. She keep in touch to ensure we were all ok. We enjoyed the stay very much. Everything you needed for the beach was supplied by Maria. Sicily is a wonderful place to visit

Great location and perfect for our family of four! Easy to walk to restaurants and stores. Parking our car in the garage was super convenient.

Great place to explore places around. Apartment has everything you might need. Clean and bright. Salvo is a great host! We loved everything.

It was a lovely place and very easy to get to the main tourist spots and harbour. Paola gave us great recommendations for restaurants and things to do nearby.

Our second stay at Aurelio’s appartment was just amazing (again). The perfect little refuge in an exciting city, a wonderful balcony with a breathtaking view on mount Entna and a beautiful kitchen. Thanks so much Aurelio, we will be back soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Even in advance, the communication was great and we were also able to ask any question on site, got tips for the area as well as for great restaurants, etc. The complex is a dream, the individual apartments are beautifully restored and equipped with everything you might need. The pool is fantastic, the view of Mount Etna (especially at sunset) impressive. The wealth of information available in each apartment is also helpful. Particularly interesting was the description of the restoration of the entire property - admirable how much love and effort this place was brought back to life! Thanks for a great stay, we will be happy to come back!

Gorgeous house, excellent location, and such gracious hosts! Daniele and his parents were both lovely. The space is clean and has everything we needed. The pool is the perfect afternoon relaxing spot. It’s well kept and very clean, which we can only imagine a huge feat considering the volcanic ashes! We also went up Mt Etna with Daniele. He’s a great guide as well! Overall 10/10 recommend.

Right from the start, our hosts went above & beyond to make sure my family had a wonderful first visit to Sicily. Our overnight flight arrived early in the morning, and they were able to accommodate an early check-in, complete with a tour of the apartment’s bedrooms, bathrooms, and two terraces. They showed us around the building, made sure we knew how to access to the pool, and gave us clear instructions for how to get in and out of the garage and pedestrian entrances. They even went so far as to make dinner reservations for us that ensured our 11th wedding anniversary was spectacular and surprised us with a bottle of champagne in the refrigerator. The two bedrooms were perfect for our family of three, and they provided a crib and bed linens for our son. The terraces were incredible, with unobstructed views of the water. The air conditioning was also essential in the hot Sicilian summer. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Taormina

Alessandra’s property just north of Viagrande was an excellent location for us to explore Mt Etna and surrounding towns. Alessandra was a great communicator and accommodated our late check in after an evening flight into Catania. Our children enjoyed exploring the grounds of the property but the guest house itself is quite rustic (which was fine for us).

We had a lovely stay at Michele’s place. The accommodation was clean, spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. The large outdoor space made our holiday really special. Michele keeps the garden beautifully neat and tidy, and the surrounding area is very peaceful, so it was a pleasure to spend time outside. We had lots of fun in the swimming pool, although it was a bit on the cool side when we were there at the end of May. The little terrace area was a real sun trap, so ideal for sun bathing and warming up after a dip. The lawn is shaded by beautiful mature trees, which must be lovely in the hotter months. The property is close to Etna National Park and as well as doing a guided trip up Etna, we had some lovely hikes in the foothills and lower slopes of the mountain. (I downloaded the AllTrails app to find local walks). Michele was a very considerate host and always ready to help with anything we needed. All in all, it is one of the best properties we have stayed in.

Beautiful and comfortable! The pool and views put this over the top perfect. Many steps, but the walkway is lovely. There is a short uphill distance to walk to town center. Our group ranged in age from 60-72, all moderately fit, and we did ok. We had some difficulty finding the place when we first got there , but we are not experienced travelers and made a few mistakes in directions. Sabina was easily accessible and very helpful in guiding us. Helga was wonderful in her communications and had many recommendations. Her driver service for our Mt Etna excursion and return trip to the airport was professional, friendly, and easy to contact. We very highly recommend!

Welcoming hosts and good advice. The accommodation is nice, perfectly clean and the well appointed space in front is a plus to enjoy the outdoors.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Ida’s place. It was handy having a kitchen area and being able to wash our clothes. The pool was nice to swim in, although there were lots of bugs around probably just due to the location. Unfortunately, the air conditioning stopped working on our second night and the electricity cut off twice during the night too, so we didn’t sleep well but Ida was very responsive and did try to help resolve the issues where she could. We’d definitely be happy to stay again once the air con is fixed!
