Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Yzerfontein

This was our second time staying here as it is pet friendly, off road safe parking, wonderful sea view, central and easy walk to beach. It has a lovely deck outside and a nice enclosed garden for the dog. It has all the amenities you need.

Probably one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in. Exactly what we needed to unwind, with a stunning home in a beautiful location. Attention to detail and very generous hosts. The home is also equipped with every appliance you can think of. This is why I enjoy booking Airbnb homes over hotel rooms, it’s the personal touch and warmth that is unmatched. Would definitely return!

Honestly loved everything !! Odette is helpful, kind and goes the extra mile!! Upon check in Odette was friendly, had a list of places to check out in the area and gave us a lovely tour. The place itself was better than the pictures. Honestly will book again the future ! Wish I didn’t have to leave, the place had everything ❤️

The location was wonderful and being dog friendly was a huge bonus and the reason we chose Kathy’s house . Our only comment is that the bathrooms and kitchen need a bit of an upgrade ie in bedroom 2 the shelf is so high you can’t use it. I had to store my toiletries on the floor ( no small bench or vanity top). We are slightly biased as we own a kitchen and furniture design company so probably hard to please 😊 A few towel hooks outside would be great The hot tub was a winner and we absolutely loved it and used if each day.

Jacques met us and was very friendly and approachable. They were able to accommodate our requests and made it an enjoyable ladies weekend. The various living areas were well appointed. The pool and views were relaxing. We look forward to our return visit.

Great place to relax and unwind. Be prepared to be woken at sunrise with the sun streaming into the rooms and birds chirping loudly at your window. The house has everything you need, but pack a hairdryer if that is something you intend to use!

We had a lovely stay, the space is beautiful and peaceful. Good quality linen and everything you need in the kitchen. Jannineke is a friendly and helpful hostess and made us feel right at home.

We had a peaceful, relaxing stay at the accommodation. Karien, the host, gave clear check-in instructions that were easy to follow, she is very responsive with messages and gave us recommendations for dining spots to visit in the area. The kitchenette has everything you need to prepare light meals. The bedding and towels were quality brands, and they were clean and fresh. The views from the room is breathtaking. We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful, spacious home with incredible views over Cape Town. The master bedroom is exceptional! The one downside was the wifi was very stop starty and for majority of our stay it didn’t work. We only had one day where we really needed it though and the hosts were responsive when trying to trouble shoot this. Would recommend!

We had a wonderful stay! Iris was a friendly and informative host—she made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The property was spotless, well-equipped with everything we needed, and the views of the beach were absolutely breathtaking. We especially loved the short, scenic stroll along the beach to reach the local restaurants. Highly recommended for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

I never go to the same Airbnb as I want to try out a new place each time but goodness me, this place? I will return to it over and over again. The deco, the space, the view, the comfort, the safety, the list is endless! A real home away from home. So serene and peaceful, the perfect place to unwind and take in all the beauty of Cape Town without being right in the middle of the hustle and bustle.

The most perfect accommodation. Absolutely gorgeous with a quick walk to get onto the most beautiful beach. Stunning view from the apartment. Will absolutely recommend this accommodation if you are in Paternoster and we cannot wait to be back!

We loved staying at this place. Lots of space, the darts and pool table were great extras. Communication was wonderful, quick to respond or give lots of activity ideas.

Dorita was exceptionally friendly and helpful. There was a small issue as to how the remotes worked when we were checking in but Dorita responded immediately to my query and sorted out things out quickly and effectively. The house is well located within walking time of restaurants, main beach and shops. It is well appointed, clean, neat, comfortably furnished with beautiful sea views from the back upper deck. Yzerfontein is a lovely West Coast coastal town with plenty to do and see in the area, including beer tasting at local breweries, gin tasting at an artisanal distillery, an amazing artisanal bakery, beach walks, etc. We look forward to our next visit.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft am Strand, der Flair des Hauses ist wie gewünscht der eines Strandhauses aber das mein ich nicht negativ. Der Pool ist sauber, mit 21 grad C sehr frisch aber eine nette Abkühlung und das Meer ist wesentlich kälter 😅 Die Ausstattung war voll ok, auch wenn mansche Dinge (Mixer z.B) vielleicht man erneuert werden sollten Alles in allem eine Unterkunft mit Charme Uns hat es sehr gefallen!!

Susan, our host was easy to get in touch with, very flexible, friendly and caring. Everything worked out perfectly . The house is absolutely stunning, the heated pool just fantastic and the view is amazing. The house is very well equipped and we definitely missed nothing. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay a lot. We hope to be able to come back one day. Thank you Susan for everything .

We had the most wonderful family stay at Doug’s villa! The location was absolutely perfect with direct access to the beach, and the house itself was even better than we expected. Every detail had been thoughtfully considered, from the beautiful decor to the well-stocked kitchen and super comfy beds. It felt like a true home away from home. Kathy was a fantastic host - helpful, responsive, and welcoming. We made such special memories here and would absolutely love to return. Highly recommend for a relaxing beach getaway with family!

The villa is absolutely superb. It's located in prime position right by the water in serene and beautiful Jacob's Bay and has the most incredible patio to enjoy the view and beauty of South Africa's West Coast. The house, and particularly the patio, is extremely well designed and maximizes the enjoyment of the property. The house is easily one of the nicest in the entire estate. The decor and style is perfect and captures the West Coast vibe. The view and particularly the sunsets and starlight made it difficult to believe that I was only 1.5 hours away from Cape Town. The villa is well fitted with indoor and outdoor braais/barbecue, extremely comfortable patio furniture, a covered swimming pool and the garden is lovely. This is truly a special place and my entire family loved it. It's going to be difficult to find a better place to stay than this on South Africa's West Coast. I couldn't recommend this more highly and Michelle is an incredible host. Perfect 5 star rating from me.
