Cottage vacation rentals in Yosemite West

We had a wonderful stay at Jennifer’s place. The place was easy to find, clean, amenities as listed in description and very accommodating for our group with small children with the backyard trampoline, playground tire swing. The house is beautiful and everything worked well - AC, grill, appliances, no issues encountered which made this a convenient and hassle free stay. Close to Oakhurst for all your conveniences, Bass Lake and Yosemite. Check in/out process was very smooth, clear instructions were provided in advance.

This Airbnb was perfect for visiting Yosemite National Park! We had space for our dogs to walk right outside the place + it was toddler friendly. The glass dishes were up high out of his reach. :) The spot was clean + included a washer + dryer & hot tub. Great stay!

Absolutely must book! This place is a gem. We spent most of our trip at the cottage and loved it. It is private and beautiful. Janna and Don are the best hosts, loved talking to them and they made our trip amazing. You can really tell how much they care about their property and guests. This was our favorite trip and my family couldn’t stop talking about how nice Don and Janna were! Can’t wait to come back and see the lovely Japanese maple trees in the fall!

This place was perfect for our Anniversary get away! We were able to spend a day at Yosemite riding E-bikes and spend the next day on the lake. We received a discount to rent a boat because of our host and enjoyed the hot tub at the end of each day! There are many restaurants within walking distance, a grocery store, and a fun friendly bar close by. We will definitely be back!

This place is absolutely fabulous with a lake view! We were greeted by Ben, who was wonderful and gave us the white glove walk through of the unit and the areas. The location is the best. It’s within 2 min walk of everything you need (grocery store, souvenir shop, restaurants, bar). The locals here are extremely friendly. The unit is equipped with a fireplace and hot tub, great for nighttime hangouts. Enjoy your cup of coffee on the front porch. Tom, the owner, is so impressive, he is a local for 30+ year building his business which includes this Airbnb and boat rentals and restaurants/bars. Helping to support the community and hiring incredible people to run it all. Highly recommend you rent a boat if you stay her, you get 10% off. We loved it so much, we are already planning our next trip here!

Great host. tons of games for the guest to play and chill. Loved the cozy place. The host was always communicating and making sure we as guest are comfortable.

My tiny family (3 of us in total) had a lovely time at the “cute green cabin!” We spent a day in Yosemite and another day exploring Bass lake (Forks resort burger is a must!) Every night we enjoyed some time in the hot tub and we couldn’t get over how quiet the neighborhood was! We will be recommending this gem to all our friends!!

great place, the locations is amazing and close to alot to walk to. the place it's self is fantastic. the only downside is the kitchen doesnt have any cooking stuff just a microwave but the restaurants are all around it and east to walk to. definitely worth it.

This was exactly what we were looking for to spend Thanksgiving! Peaceful place with an amazing yard. We went outside at night to hangout and stare at the stars.

Kelly’s place was exactly as described. Our family had a great time at their cottage. They had all streaming services signed in, so our family enjoyed cozy nights indoors watching movies. As other reviews said, we found a few bugs, but nothing unusual for this location. It was about 45 minutes from the south entrance. The bathrooms could be upgraded, as water was clogged in the sink and bathtub.

Great experience! The place is cute and comfortable. The view is outstanding. All the facilities in the house are in great conditions and are easy to use. Will definitely come back if we have the chance to visit Yosemite again.

Absolutely beautiful home that goes above and beyond with its thoughtful amenities. It’s modern, yet incredibly cozy and welcoming. We loved the upstairs loft—it looked so inviting we had to try it out for a night, and it did not disappoint! The mats were super comfy and easily folded back into a sofa during the day. The collection of board games and books was a perfect touch after long hikes in Yosemite. When we weren’t in the loft, we slept in the ultra-soft king-size bed, which came with more than enough pillows and blankets for a warm, restful night. The home stayed perfectly cool thanks to the three A/C vents in the living room, loft, and bedroom. The bathroom was well-stocked with all the essentials, plus thoughtful extras like Q-tips and bath salts—such a treat after a day on the trails! While we didn’t get a chance to use the outdoor grill and seating area, it looked like the perfect spot to unwind. Bonus: we saw deer roaming nearby—magical! Would definitely stay again!

A great cabin if you are looking for a little get away from near by cities or traveling internationally to head to Yosemite. Booked this lovely cabin for a birthday weekend with the girls. Very spacious. Used the full kitchen to be able to bake a cake and have a wholesome dinner made. TWO BATHROOMS!! Just a little heads up, neighbors are very close by and not as secluded (closed off) as we thought but that’s okay! We ended up making friends with a neighbor close by anyway & overall great experience.

This is a really nice property to stay at. It accommodated my friends and I when we wanted to visit Yosemite.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean, kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pots/pans/essentials for cooking. The most impressive part of our stay was how quick to respond the property management team was!! They were 10/10. Super friendly and quick response time. The only thing I’d note that we were disappointed with was how far it was to the main parts of Yosemite we wanted to see (El Capitan area). Not to say that is any fault of the Airbnb, just slightly caught off guard based on our own lack of research. HOWEVER, if you are looking for a clean, comfortable, private Airbnb near all the “essentials” (grocery store/Starbucks/gas stations/etc) in a reasonable drive to Yosemite then I would highly recommend this place! Also, we had our one-year-old baby with us and the tvs in the house were easy to use and access YouTube 😆 that was a huge win for us!!

This was the perfect place for our Yosemite weekend getaway! It was close to the south entrance of the park and we were able to try several different Oakhurst restaurants. 10/10! Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay; the house was clean and had everything we needed. We saw miniature donkeys, goats, water buffalo, the peacock, and the cat and dog. Wade was kind enough to offer us a tour of their property. Thank you!

Paul’s place was clean and had a nice layout for the entire family to enjoy. The house is well off the beaten path which was welcome. Having family in the area I will likely reach out to Paul for a future stay as well.

Such a lovely cottage and surrounding area. Will come here again when in the area. Friendly owners making everything easy.

Nice and homely place, perfect for a small group of up to 4. About a 45-1hr drive to Yosemite National Park. Food options in Mariposa are accessible, and a short walk from the home.

The Red Barn Inn was a fabulous little getaway just outside of town. A great place that feels at home with gorgeous scenery and lush greenery at every turn. John was very responsive in messaging and made us feel welcome. I would highly recommend the Red Barn Inn if you ever stay in Mariposa. We definitely will book again!

The place was cool. Nice and comfortable.

The space was absolutely what we needed for an escape while we were traveling to Yosemite! It was very secluded which was nice, but getting any extra supplies was tough due to the lack of stores nearby and several road closures. I would stay here again for my next visit to the park!
