The Tree Cabin

The heated tree cabin is set within a small secluded wood up a steep path. Cedar lined, insulated and oak clad it cantilevers out over a remote mill pond. Wake up in a tranquil heaven only shared with shy wildlife, including deer, hare, the odd badger and a variety of birds. In the cabin are a king-size plus bed, table and chairs, kitchen area with induction plate, microwave oven & toaster. Your own smaller tree cabin, a few trees away, houses a flushing toilet and hand basin with spring water.

The Old Cattle Barn is a part of a charming 18th century farmhouse set halfway up a steep and picturesque hillside in the peaceful Calder Valley. Long Fall Bothy is a gorgeous stone building on the outskirts of Marsden village in West Yorkshire. Perfect for a walking holiday, the Kirklees Way passes the property and the Pennine Way, Oldham Way are close by. A great place for mountain biking with the Transpennine Trail a few miles away and lots of cycle paths/trails on your doorstep. Local real ale pubs and plenty of cafes in Marsden village a short walk (15 minutes) along the canal. Beautiful scenery, views from the cottage are amazing.

Accommodation is a self contained ground floor suite with direct outdoor access, part of a 16th century almshouse renovation.

Lucy Barn

Lucy Barn is a recently converted barn in center of the village. It is a "quirky" building finished in a unique style that combines well appointed accommodation with an industrial style. It is extremely convenient for the restaurants cafes and pubs and the large windows overlook the village square - ideal for people watching. It is super insulated with more than adequate heating. There is also a log burner for that "cosy evening feel". Ideal for a walking or cycling stay or a place to chill.

Walks for all abilities from our doorstep. Two medium sized dogs are welcome. Local pubs are dog friendly and we have lots of places to eat locally. Amazing views, a wood burning stove, a very comfy four poster king sized bed and a fantastic shower have all been in 5* feedback left by many satisfied guests.

Croft Farm Shepherd's Hut, Hardraw, Pennine Way

Spend a night in Hardraw, in the Yorkshire Dales. This wonderfully crafted shepherds hut is located on a working farm, with sheep, cattle, hens and pigs. Also, home to the local working sheepdog demonstration team. Located in a small village on the Pennine Way; the renowned Hardraw force, England's highest waterfall is a 5 minute stroll. The Green Dragon Inn is less than 5 minutes walk. The small market town of Hawes is a 20 minute walk, with plenty of shops and pubs.
