Vacation rentals with a patio in York

We had a lovely stay at Earl’s place for the weekend - great base for the wedding we were attending! Great location with lots of restaurants within walking distance and super hosts who left so many little touches - especially the cake, thank you!

Really lovely little bolthole in tbe perfect position to explore York on foot. Quiet and peaceful at night. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable inside the property. Would definitely recommend, and would not hesitate to re book a second time, thank you.

Fabulous little place, spotlessly clean and very private but jane was on hand to help if needed, wanted to stay longer but it was booked out. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed over the May bank holiday. The flat was fantastic, very modern and comfortable. We did have a problem when making a cuppa as the hot water came from the tap but I think that we were perhaps not doing it right. Contacted Oath Properties, and he told us how to use it but I think it was too modern for us! Would definitely recommend staying here.

Catherine is the ideal relaxed host. (and a baking angel, thank you, Catherine!) The apartment was large, bigger than we expected, and spotlessly clean. The location was ideal for our weeks stay, lovely peaceful surroundings, but easy drive to a great shopping centre with good park & ride into York, also 1 hour access to Whitby, Harrogate (Harlow Carr), Rievaulx and Fountains.

Easy to find, very clean and well equipped. We had no problem with on street parking. South facing patio (if you get the weather) Scones and milk in the fridge on arrival, obviously Sheila is someone who cares.

Beautiful home away from home, very family friendly. The house has very contemporary look and feel, lots of character and beautifully decorated. We visited for the weekend with our two children (7months and 5 years), enough space for all of us including everything we needed for the baby. We liked the convenience of self check in and check out, and the location was perfect- short walk or drive to the town.

Highly recommend! Really friendly and accommodating hosts. It was so peaceful, the location is really lovely! Felt like a cosy little retreat! I mentioned it was my husband’s birthday and we were greeted with a lovely cold bottle of white wine which was such a lovely touch! We enjoyed it outside in the sun listening to the birds. Everything you need in a stay.

A fantastically appointed spotless place to stay. James the owner was very good and responded when emailed. The location is superb with a five minute walk into the centre of york. Nice and quiet location with secure parking. Cant recommend enough. Superb...

Gilbertson cottage was the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. The house was immaculate and just completely breath taking. We came on a Hen do & just could not get over how unreal every single aspect of the house was. It made our whole weekend. It was everything and more that we could have asked for & I couldn’t be more grateful. We’ve already spoke about a few of us coming back with our partners and children! What a beautiful place. We had a great weekend at Amy's home, the view is stunning, as is the house, with a great open plan space, perfect for friends to get away. There is everything you might possibly need in the kitchen which is well laid out. The beds are very comfy, it was quite difficult to get out of them on Sunday morning to be out by 10 😀. Amy was very helpful when we had an issue with the showers. Great stay and highly recommended.

Immaculately presented little hideaway just outside the centre within easy walk for food and drinks. The place is exceptionally homely, spotlessly clean and has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Free parking is less than a minute walk away. Jim is an exceptional host and highly communicative. Will return and would highly recommended.

Whether we are there as a couple, or it is one man and his whippet :-) , Nicola's place always delivers. The dog friendly garden is a dream, walks close by and a simply beautiful part of the world. Nicola is always friendly and a great host. We are regulars and hope to continue to be! Thanks for another great stay. I had to pick Pinter (whippet) up to put him in the car as he didn't want to leave!

we had a great stay at Jonathan's place. It was as described, and perfect for our short stay in York. everything was clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable so we had a great sleep too. thank you!

Sophie is an excellent host & communicator & went the extra mile to help us with everything we needed. She explained where to find the property, where to park & where not to park. The property was very clean & very well presented. The property also has underfloor heating & has a log burner plus 2 TVs (1 living area, 1 bedroom) It is a very secure property. Has an open plan living room, kitchen diner area, large bedroom with ample storage. Wet room with bath & further storage with hangers. Sophie provided everything which you would need in the kitchen, including Nespresso machine with pods, dish washer, pods & dog treats. Plus extras hair dryer, towels, iron & iron board were all provided. We Loved the location, it was just over a 5 minute walk to the centre of Ripon, 35 minute bus ride to Harrogate. There is a large paddling pool play area for children which was very clean, tidy & very close. I would highly recommend this property & host if anyone is thinking of staying in Ripon.

Absolutely stunning property with everything you would need for a stay away already in place! It’s just as it looks in the images, very spacious, absolutely stunning bathrooms and full functioning kitchen with all the cutlery and dishes you need! Loved the guest book with all details and instructions for our stay! Can very much tell the host has a lot of attention to detail! Every part of the space was so well thought out, aesthetically pleasing, whilst also being highly functional! I will definitely be looking to book again for my next trip to Harrogate!

We had a lovely stay. The property was small & cosy with everything we needed. Great location just far enough to be peaceful but easy to reach the centre of Knaresborough & the waterside. Chris gave great recommendations for local food & drinks & we loved the Mitre for food & had a great night with live music in Track & Sleeper just next door. Loved the view from our bedroom window, we saw a deer & woke up to the birds singing! The staircase took a bit of getting used to 😀 but I loved it!!

We had a lovely stay here. Sue was there when we arrived to welcome us but had also sent me the code for the lock in case she wasn’t there. Great communication before hand . The flat was lovely and cosy. Coffee teas , fresh milk and juice. Bread/ eggs/ cereal for breakfast. A bathroom to die for . Jacuzzi bath with separate shower. A cupboard filled with of toiletries. Fresh/ soft and fluffy towels. Only negative was the floor boards were a little squeaky . Hopefully us being up till 3am didn’t keep people awake . Location chosen as not far in a taxi from a wedding venue we were attending. Happily recommend . Brighouse is a lovely little town We arrive on a 1940’s weekend festive so lots to do and see during the day. Highly recommend .

Would highly recommend Eleanor 's place. It was as described, very clean and comfortable, bedding and towels good quality and spotless. Lots of thoughtful extras and felt so comfortable and relaxed. lovely location, easy walk to City. Lovely and quiet at night, perfect location. Eleanor was extremely helpful and accomadating.
