Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

A modern dining area features a round wooden table surrounded by four upholstered chairs. A sleek flat-screen TV is mounted on the wall opposite the table. Natural light enters through a large window, complemented by light curtains, adding a vibrant touch to the space.

we spent one week in Ville's cottage and It was wonderful. in case of small issue Ville responded immediatly and his father came and fixed It. so we just had to care about hiking, cycling, rowing, fishing, swimming and having sauna.
