We had a wondeful stay at this lovely house! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed, which immediately made us feel at home. The place was spotlessly clean, and the Kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The beds were extremly comfortable, and the bed linens were of high quality, making it easy to relax and get a good night's shep. we also really appreciated all the thoughtfull extras that were provided- like shampoo, a hairdyer, and other essentials. Also a good place for fishine! The sauna and hot this were definite high-lights and made our stay even more relaxing whenever we had a question or needed anything, Markus was always available and quick to respond, which made everything even more comfortable. All in all, its a fantastic House, and we would definitely stay here again! Best wishes from Hamburg!

We had a great week in Mary's very cozy old house. In particular, we liked the outdoor area. We were often on the boat, fishing, using the hot tub, making pizza in the outdoor oven and relaxing by the lake. The stand up paddle was also tried. A deer could even be seen in the opposite forest. Although there is no WiFi, we had internet through mobile data. The house was also a good base to follow the footsteps of Astrid Lindgren. A moose park is also nearby. Communication with Maria was very friendly and quick! We were very pleased and can recommend the house!

Many thanks for a great two weeks in Asatorp. Arvid, you were a great host and we enjoyed the peace and solitude of the house. The outdoor shower was awesome. We were able to enjoy Swedish life in the countryside again. Beautiful spacious house in a beautiful place with all kinds of animals around you, chickens, horses, dogs and goats. Hilly with a flowing stream behind the house. Lots of space around the home so we could easily park our car with trailer and boat. Everything is available in the house, but don't expect luxury, it's basic. Beautiful kitchen with good equipment. 4 spacious bedrooms with good double beds, so also for large families. Towels, bed linen, etc. everything is provided and cleaning is done. Maria is a nice host, who leaves you completely quite, as the Swedes usually do and I'm fine with it! Feel completely at home with it. Maria helped us with information about the lake Asunden, where we would be fishing. Thanks again for that. If you want to spend a holiday here, I highly recommend it. Yxefall is a few kilometers above Kisa, where everything you need is present.

Curvy roads take you through super beautiful landscapes to this cozy cottage. All amenities are available and the location worked both for visits to Astrid Lindgren's World and Linköping. We'd love to come again!

We had a lovely stay! The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The place is peaceful and perfect for relaxing — we also enjoyed the sauna. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, breakfast was a pleasant bonus. Highly recommended!

Approximately 10 minutes to Astrid Lindgren's World. Incredibly calm and harmonious surroundings a good bit out in the forest. The birdsong was lovely. The horse paddock with two nice horses could be seen in all directions except one, where the road and the neighboring house were. Spacious covered patio, facing the garden. Plenty of puzzles and outdoor toys for the kids. And more. We did not have time to spend as much time in the cottage as desired, due to a full schedule, but it was well-equipped, well-cleaned and in good condition. With everything we could possibly need.

I came back after visiting back in January. Was in the area for my birthday and kept comparing every airbnb to this place so decided to book it again. It didn’t disappoint during summer season as well. The Nature Reserve is absolutely stunning any time of the year. Love this location!

Good starting point to visit all the sights around Vimmerby. Such as Astrid Lindgren Welt, Katthulthof or Bullerbü. The small cottage is located in a beautiful, quiet area 5 min walk to the lake. Hosts are very kind. We had a great stay at Charlotte's.

This place is a slice of paradise. We were immediately overwhelmed by the spirit of this place. Like in a picture book. A beautiful lake where you could swim and fish. The tranquility and the surroundings are simply fantastic. The house offers all you need for a comfortable stay. Pernilla was a super host who provided us with helpful tips and rounded off the stay at this wonderful place with a pleasant conversation at check-out. Thank you for this time. We will be back.

We spent our 3 week family vacation here and had a great and relaxing time. Everything is as described: a Swedish idyll looked after by a very nice family. The property is incredibly large and very well maintained. There was a lot to explore for the kids. They were allowed to move freely and use all the games. Only the lawnmowing robot had to be taken care of. It was permanently in operation and did not stop at any toys or items. But there was a large stop button, which the children quickly pressed when the robot came close. There are many swimming spots in the area and Tranås has a great park with a great disc golf course. Everything was easily accessible by car. We can highly recommend the accommodation!

A great, enchanted property on the crystal clear lake, for grooming, discovering, bathing, playing, jogging, blueberries, raspberries or cranberries collecting and baking thanks to good kitchen furnishings, for cooking and grilling (or thanks to good internet also for working or informing what is going on in the world;). For shopping you need a car or paddle by kayak to Malexander (attention opening hours of the rather small "camping" kiosk). The house (except maybe the bathroom) is spacious, you have the possibility to install mosquito screens for ventilated nights. Curtains are everywhere; the beds are cuddly, but not for those that can't with cools:). Thanks, Pia, for the great stay and also for the flexibility with the Boat - this made it possible for us to have great fishing experiences!

We were received in a very friendly manner. Away from the hustle and bustle around Astrid Lindgren, our accommodation was in the middle of a lonely area, where we could experience the real Lindgren world. The Norra Kvill Nature Park was quick to reach, as were the Lindgren sites. It was easy to relax on the verandas. We'd love to come back.

Pia is a very nice, open, helpful person. The plot is super nice and the lake has very clear water. We are already thinking about booking our next holiday there.

As a family of five with a dog, we spent six days in this beautiful, exceptional accommodation and enjoyed it very much. A bouquet of fresh flowers was on the table, nature is wonderful, the lake a pleasure, the various huts very simple but cozy. It's also great that you can grab a rowing boat at any time. It was a lot of fun. Katarina and Lars were very nice, quickly accessible, and extremely helpful and committed.

We (2 adults and 2 children) stayed 14 days in the beautiful house on vacation and felt very comfortable! Check-in was very flexible and shortly after, Torgny greeted us personally. He was also reachable by cell phone and helped us. The house is located on a meadow with a large garden and has a trampoline where the kids had a lot of fun with them. Inside everything looks like in the photos and it has everything you need. Nearby is a rowing boat that you can use and there is a small swimming beach. The house is also great for excursions: Norra Kvill National Park, Kleva Gruva, Katthult Hof and Astrid Lindgren Vält are all easily accessible by car. We loved it and would definitely vacation here again!
