Walking trails to Jerrabomberra wet lands, Lake Burley Griffin and Mount Ainslie. Great cafes, restaurants and gift shops close by including Tulips, Rodney’s garden café and the Plot. Bison, Cusoe and co, Stonehenge and Bliss. Orchards ( in season - Tanbella , The apple farm, Kerrisons orchard and Piallago truffles)

This unit is small with little space for suitcases but has all you need for a short stopover. Containing a small bathroom, bed, mini fridge, microwave, TV, heating, and cooling for comfort and parking space out front for your stay. This unit is part of a multi unit dwelling, and the second of which is available on Airbnb. Whilst there are no pets in the unit, the complex does have pet friendly residences, so you may encounter the occasional bark when wandering to and from your unit.

Private unit in Braddon

This private self-contained unit occupies the entire top floor of a modern house in tree-lined Braddon with a stunning view of Mt Ainslie. It has a private keyless system, spacious living room, functional kitchen, balcony and is located near shops and public transport. The unit is fully insulated with a split ductless system to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter. It's a short walk to cafes, bars and restaurants on Lonsdale street, and another short walk to Canberra's CBD.

Note: after numerous suggestions as to temperature control, I have now installed reverse cycle air conditioning. Nearest shops are in Queanbeyan (15mins away)
