We had an amazing trip to this beautiful property to celebrate a birthday! Wonderful house that was perfect for our party of 3 couples plus kids and dog! And what a fabulous and peaceful location! Cooking lunch for 8 was a breeze with everything being in hand in the kitchen! Hoping to making staying here an annual event ! Thanks to Carolyn for being so communicative and accommodating

Maxxs place was a real find. We were in the area for a family wedding and needed a place with multiple and flexible options for many family members. This was perfect for us. It is in a beautiful location with a description that all the family describing it as quirky. There were so many delightful finds and it is clear that there are more work being done. about 12 kms from the centre of Murrumbateman, and next to the chocolate place, this was the combination of peace and access. Each room has beautiful view to the dam/lake and the wildlife is abundant. The addition of domesticated chickens and alpacas were a delight for the children. The bunk room was ideal for the children to do what they wanted. We would definitely recommend.

We had a family gathering at Meg's place and the house and property suited us perfectly. We had some fantastic weather and so some really epic sunsets over the hills - the views are fantastic. We also visited a local winery that Meg recommended and had a lovely, slow lunch. The layout of the house is excellent for socialising and also for sleeping quietly. We had the fire going all weekend to keep us super toasty. We all said we'd love to stay again. Thanks Meg.

We had a fantastic stay. They are so friendly and helpful with a good sense of humor. Breakfast was served with a beautiful view so that’s a great start of the day. Hopefully we will be back in the area so we can schedule more time @ they’re relaxing property. We definitely recommend staying here ☺️.

Beautiful, comfortable and cozy escape to the country. Perfect for a quiet weekend with the dog and a good book by the fire. Very lovely and beautiful touches in the cottage.

We stayed at the Lake George Homstead. 7 adults and 3 children and a pet Labrador. The property has enough bedrooms to easily accommodate a large group in comfort with privacy. Extra large living and dining area was an attractive feature. We stayed for 2 days. Apart from exploring the vineyard and enjoying a wine tasting with pizzas from the vineyard Cafe we used the property as a base to explore Canberra.

My stay here at Woodgrove was exactly what I needed. It was heading out to Bungendore for events and looking for somewhere relatively quiet and remote on the Outskirts of Canberra that I could easily travel to and from. It was a shame I didn’t have time to visit all the beautiful shops and nursery’s that are located on this road and the winery but I just didn’t have time during the day. Tracie-Ann was really responsible and flexible with my check in and stay and even came out to watch our event that was going on at the Rodeo grounds. Would definitely stay here again :)

We loved our stay at Tramwalla. We chose this place because of the multiple spaces and we loved the shed where there was a pool table and a ping pong table. We spent the weekend unplugged from our devices- locked them in a box and enjoyed the surroundings, and because there were multiple living spaces- it never felt like we were in each other’s faces. It was a really cold and rainy weekend but the fireplaces were a treat. Thanks for hosting us!

The great secret hideaway writers dream of. Rosie’s Loft is the perfect sanctuary for a peaceful escape, to write, read, rest, or daze at the stretch of Lake George out front as you watch the day change colour. Fully equipped with all you need. Rosie has thought of everything! And those happy hens will even provide you with the freshest, healthiest eggs you’ve ever eaten. Even in the dead of winter the Loft is a sweet, charming getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the residence, which offered exceptional comfort, impressive amenities, and impeccable cleanliness. The expansive outdoor spaces provided ample opportunity for relaxation within the compound. Our host, Helen, demonstrated outstanding hospitality and was readily available to assist with any queries. The property's location was equally impressive, situated mere minutes from the Majura Park Shopping Centre. Overall, our experience was outstanding, and we eagerly anticipate returning on our next visit to Canberra.

This was a great house to have a holiday in with our friends, the games room down stairs was a great bonus. Vivian was friendly and helpful. I highly recommended and would stay again.

We loved our stay at Nikki’s cottage. It comfortably fit our 2 families of 4 as we each had our own ‘wing’ of the cottage which was perfect. The cottage is well appointed and full of country character that makes you feel right at home. The location is beautifully peaceful and quiet with plenty of space for kids to run around. We particularly loved the outdoor fire pit and spent a lot of time here under the stars. Nikki and her husband were very welcoming and friendly and quick to offer any assistance if needed (which we didn’t). Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return again. Helens cottage was perfect in every way. So very peaceful, we had a very comfy stay. Very close to picturesque villages, and only 20 mins drive into Canberra. Nice suprise to find farm fresh eggs in the fridge when we arrived. My hubby was so impressed with the very well equipped Kitchen, and he was very happy for the first time ever there was a wok to cook with. Our two day stay was just perfect. Very dog friendly, Elsa was very curious about the chickens and goats. Helen greeted us when we arrived.

Michelle’s place was beautiful, clean and in amazing surroundings. They were delightful hosts, being available when you wanted but gave you privacy otherwise. Our son loved the animals and the marshmallows on the fire pit. Definitely will be going there again.

This was our second stay at Dean and Toni's place. They are super friendly and responsive and the place was close to where we were doing a little work so was extremely convenient and at the same time peaceful for our down time. The kitchen was well equipped allowing us to cook our own meals. We enjoyed the wildlife. A very enjoyable stay.
