The Old stables is part of the original estate of Cary Fitzpaine. Although the setting is rural, we are a short way from A37 (.5 mile) and A303 (1.5 miles) which makes us very accessible to other amenities/attractions. The property is self contained and private, with a contained garden. The owners live nearby and are happy for guests to walk around the farm, and are also on hand if required. We are in easy reach of many National Trust properties, Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm & Haynes Car Museums.

A converted stable on a peaceful farm surrounded by acres of countryside but within striking distance of Sherborne and good National Trust gardens. The Tallet is opposite the old farmhouse and next to a magnificent Somerset cider barn. The private terrace has a covered eating area and open lounging space enclosed by walls and clipped box hedging. The underfloor heating and electric log burner add warmth to the sitting room and the spacious open plan kitchen makes for a sociable space.

Godminster Manor Cottage

Set in a private cobbled courtyard on an organic farm, half a mile from Bruton, this old stone cottage has been lovingly restored. It has an inglenook fireplace, oak-framed roofs, flagstone and elm floors, with art and furniture collected over many years filling the rooms. Bruton is renowned for its restaurants and art galleries. Nestled in the heart of Batcombe, our renovated coach house offers a comfortable place to stay. The cottage is situated in a picturesque village a few yards from fantastic walks across the mendip hills. Bookings for Christmas, Easter min 3 days also bank holidays must be a minimum of 3 nights, Friday-Monday. Also up to 2 dogs are very welcome.
