House vacation rentals in Xanten

My Dad and I very much enjoyed staying at this cute cottage. This was my second stay at Chris' place, and it didn't disappoint. Chris and Masja were very welcoming and responded quickly to a minor issue that arose. We'd stay again. :)

The accommodation with this huge garden is a dream for a vacation with a dog. The garden is fenced high enough that you don't have to worry about your four-legged friend. You have absolute peace, the neighbors are far enough away. After the drive along the unpaved path through the forest, you are already in the middle of the vacation atmosphere. Then there's this beautiful large pool, the heated Jacuzzi, the hammock between the trees, the tree swing... What else could you ask for? It's not without reason that this place is fully booked. The surrounding area has a lot to offer for nature lovers. At Lake Leuk, you have all the possibilities to do water sports or go fishing. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay. Unfortunately, the weather was not so sunny and so we could spend little time outside. Inside, it is a bit cramped for 5 adults, but with the large outdoor area, it would have been fine in good weather. The sauna was phenomenal and the pool was great too!

Lynn's house is definitely recommended! We slept here with a group of 5 friends and it was all arranged perfectly, everything is present and you have all the space to enjoy the beautiful weather. There are several places where you can sit wonderfully. In reality, it looks even more beautiful than in the photos and you have a lot to do in the area.

This was a perfect place to stay for our family with 3 children. The private (massive) garden was exactly what we needed to ensure our kids could still play without having to be too quiet, such as it is in most apartments. There were plenty of toys and a playground as a bonus. The host was wonderful and friendly, always checking on our needs and responding to our requests. One minor issue is that the kitchen doesn't have hot water so you need to get warm water from the bathroom for doing dishes. For staying in the summer, this place is ideal and we'd happily go back!

The little house with beautiful old trees (a huge cherry tree, apple tree) is an absolute gem. The location is in the countryside in peace and quiet. The quiet at night is perfect. In the surrounding area, the house is surrounded by horse pastures and fields. The slightly wider surroundings are probably the most beautiful part of the Lower Rhine, thanks to the nature reserves. Absolutely perfect to explore by bike and directly from the vacation home. The house is very well renovated and in an absolutely new condition. It has been planned and implemented with attention to detail and in itself very generously. The furnishings are of high quality and in good condition. This gives the house character and style.

A historic place. A farmhouse built on the foundations of a castle. Nevertheless, everything was beautifully remodeled with respect for the past. The yard, the meadows with sheep and fruit trees, the fish ladder in the stream next door also makes it a downright idyllic place. A nice host and hostess made this weekend to remember. Thank you.

There is only one toilet, otherwise everything is great and a totally nice exchange with the owner. Everything you need is available.

Communication was great, even late. The apartment is incredibly beautiful, huge, well equipped, especially for children a huge recommendation! We were greeted with very nice touches for us and our baby and can only recommend this really nice and clean apartment! Thank you again !

Beautifully located house at the edge of the village and the forest. The kitchen has everything needed for home cooking. Sandra is a warm hostess who responds quickly. Now in winter fine house but in good weather completely ideal.

What a gem! It was absolutely wonderful to stay at this beautiful, newly decorated and spotless place. The surroundings are serene and the host is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Thanks for everything and we hope to be back again!

You really feel like you're going back in time as soon as you step inside, without lacking any comfort. The wide and quiet area completes this. Dark is also really dark, because there is not much lighting in the area. Gwen anticipated this well by setting up a flashlight that you can borrow if necessary. Really great! If you lack inspiration, or you want to be without the digital world, there is a stack of brochures ready for activities in the area. The winery that Gwen mentions is indeed very worthwhile. Without being intrusive, Gwen quietly inquires if everything is okay. She is always available for questions and she also responds very quickly. The cottage is completely complete, including wonderfully soft towels. We were there 3 nights, but we felt so at home that it felt like we were there much longer. In short: we have enjoyed and look back with great pleasure on a wonderful stay in Gendringen!

Gaby was welcoming us and left fruit baskets in each room. We had fun snacking on those. Each room was very nice and comfortable. We had a wonderful time. My favorite was to watch the milky way through the window above our bed when the sky was clear. So beautiful.

We had a fantastic stay! We were very well received and got tips about the area. The cottage is very neat, well maintained, comfortable and everything is available. For children also a very nice cottage because there are many toys available (our 2-year-old son had a good time). The cottage is recommended! We would love to come back again.

I cannot fault our stay. Everything was perfect and exceeded our expectations. Fantastic property, with interesting architecture. Comfy beds, big patio, inviting and secluded garden, spacious lounge. It was a great stay. I'm sure I'll be booking with Svenja often. The house was decorated great for Christmas and communication with Svenja was really excellent! I can only give an absolute recommendation. If you want to go to Moers, the bus stop is within walking distance, as is the center of Schwafheim with various shopping opportunities. And especially important for me, the AWO Seniorenzentrum is also only 4-5 minutes by walk.

We loved the lovely house! A beautiful place in a quiet area. The house and the garden have all the comforts. Also plenty of towels and even bathrobes that hang in the closet. A nice place to explore the area. An afternoon in Doesburg or a visit to one of the castles nearby is well worth it! Ruurlo Castle houses a museum, and at Vorden Castle, you can even take a look at the residents' rooms. You can also have a very nice lunch here! The same goes for the other castles. If you really want to eat well, we recommend Broederenklooster in Zutphen. What a wonderful evening we had there!! Highly recommended!

We had a brilliant stay here. It was only two of us, but would be plenty of room for four or six with two full bathrooms. The home was especially clean and welcoming, with drinks in the fridge when we arrived. The kitchen was very well-equipped and every item looked recently washed and clean. Very comfortable beds and linens. We were able to enjoy the wood-burning stove on a couple of chilly evenings, with wood supplied, and on warmer days we enjoyed eating on the back patio. We would stay again in an instant. The only drawback for the 10 days was that others had a hard time finding the location. Eelco gave us very clear directions, but the entrance from Halseweg and location inside the area seemed to be difficult for delivery vans and car repair trucks!

Wonderfully quiet and separate little apartment with everything you need, great bathroom with great shower, we liked it again, except for the weather, but Frank can't help it!
